Time for a Change!

General information
Kaleidoscope has now been live for five months in total. We are very pleased to see some newcomers, and yet we feel like we haven't fleshed out the world as we had intended originally.
In the coming month there will be some drastic changes to both placement as well as some adjustment with the lore. We also have planned to expand the timeline, explain things more thoroughly.
We want to make Kaleidoscope a fully fletched world, and we are trying to do that bit by bit, making the world ever evolving and shaping around us.

The Placement of Churchill
Firstly we think the placement of Churchill and the islands surrounding it haven't fit in to what we originally had planned.
The discussion to move it has come up several times between us admins, so for us it is no surprise what we have planned. However for you as a player, it might take some adjustment. We promise to accommodate this, if one wishes, so please do not hesitate to contact either @Andy or @bels via PM.
More information about placement will come in subsequent guides as well as under lore.

Future Opportunities for Titles
Seeing as we are moving Churchill, this also means that there will be potential new places to claim i.e. becoming a royalty of ones own country or perhaps a political figure of an area.
With this we are going to make a small rework of the titles as they are now, and hopefully make it have more meaning to it.
While titles are something that we use from time to time, we wish to set up a list of people currently having a specific title, and with subsequent information about what this title grants the individual player.

New Places to Explore
Drumroll please ... There are new kingdoms arriving to the surrounding sea of Churchill! The plan has always been to expand the world slowly, and these places have been in the making for some time.
With these new places, we hope to bring in a broader audience of people wanting to join the site, or for our regulars to contribute with more characters.

Lastly
We hope this strikes up some discussion as well as some debate about these news, but we also have faith in the fact that this will improve the site experience over all.

These changes are not immediate, however we want a smooth transition, and we want to be as transparent as we can with these changes.
Once everything is in place, a new news will be posted with links to everything so that you may inform yourself on the different changes!
