A cry for help

It had been a weak moment. Raziela had felt lonely, she had felt unable to really do anything but call up Ekaterina and convince her to come over. As soon as the empusa had stepped through the door, the two women's lips found each other, and a daring yet longing night ensued.
Right now she was laying naked in the bed, her friend of many years sleeping next to her, but she couldn't find a way to get up. Instead she looked at Ekaterina, studied her beautiful features, features that she had always been a bit jealous of in a way. Sure, Raziela had beauty, but nothing that compared to Ektarerina. She had the body of a woman, while her own was way too slender for her liking. However most of her siblings, except for Andrew, were rather thin. Turning over on her side, she looked toward the window, her black eyes staring at specs of dust in the ray of sun shining through from the outside. Normally the empusa would've found other ways to deal with her sorrow, she would've taken it out with anger or madness even, but last night she had needed something more ... tender. Her breath was calm, breathing in their mixed scent of sweat and endorphins as she was afraid to admit she liked it.
It was no secret that Raziela had trouble connecting with others, she had a hard time keeping friends, and those she had eventually got tired of her antics. However Ekaterina had stayed, and she had been nothing but a rock to her after Simeon's death. Last night had been the first time since her brother's death she had actually fallen asleep soundly, and not forcing her eyes shut until her body gave in.

Feelings were never quite a thing for her, she almost felt kind of uncomfortable with the thought of it, as if it made her weaker or less strong if she gave into them and just let everything consume her. But she also knew that she cared for Raziela, in some ways words would never be able to describe. There was a deep connection between the two girls, and though she herself had never actually told Raz about the death of Charles, her unborn child and now her inability to ever have children again, the shared knowledge of how death felt this close, and how they met, may have been a factor in how they were today. But, however, much she had to protect her own heart, which often came in the form of an at times strange personality, or rather the personality of someone else, she did now end up sharing the bed with the other Empusa, being that she was rather peacefully sleeping beside her.
Unlike any other time, in which she would sleep, this was actually peaceful and she was allowing herself to be vulnerable, even though that meant she could be hurt in some way or form, but none the less here she was, next to the now very much awake Daemon. And as if she felt something stir, she slowly woke up and opened her eyes, and a smile appeared on her lips, as she slowly kissed Raziela's neck "Good Morning" she whispered with a raspy voice and something a kind to a morning-after sex voice.

Raziela could feel how the empusa next to her was slowly waking up, however she kept staring at the rays of sun. The lips that moved over her neck made her sigh, closing her eyes as she heard the familiar raspy voice. How was it possible that another living being could make her heart move like this? She felt disgusted in a way, moving to lay on her back as she stretched her hands towards the ceiling. "Morning," she mumbled, blinking a few times as she realized she probably sounded distracted. The thing about Raziela was that she could be just as bubbly and charming as she could be deadly and scheming. Exhaling, she turned her head to look at the empusa next to her, the blond hair laying loosely over the pillow. Her hand moved down, grabbing a stray of hair to just look at it between her fingers. "Why is it that I keep returning to you, even though we both know it will never be more than this?" she mumbled, frowning at her own words. She wasn't saddened by the facts of life, however she did wonder how it would've been if she had been given a different upbringing? But alas, she was not one to linger for long on such thoughts, and instead leaned in closer to Ekaterina's face. She placed her lips gently against the empusa's, giving her a sweet and brief kiss. Raziela was bad at saying how she felt, unless it was anger or cruelty, however she had a rough understanding of how to show affection. "How did you sleep?" she whispered, moving her kisses to leave a sweet trail down her neck.

She looked at this beautiful woman by her side, admiring her in some sense or form, because even though none of them wanted more than what they had right now, she was still able to admire this woman, someone who had lost a family member and now wanted to avenge this person. She herself was really not interested in becoming a part of someone's life, or for that matter be interested in someone else's problems, however when it came to Raziel, she simply just wasn't able to hold herself back. If it gave the other Daemon some kind of peace, she would let the whole world burn in terror, for that had happened. Of course she never actually said this out loud, maybe it really didn't have to be said out loud, because in some form both women knew this fact. As she felt Raziel gently take some of her hair between her fingers, she almost shivered by the sensation alone. It had always been some kind of weakness of hers, to have her hair touched in this gentle of ways, no one expects Raziel knew this of course.
"Well it is a very beautiful face to return to, and we do have glorious sex," she said in a teasing way, though she did mean the part about the sex as if there was something perfect about these two together, then it was their sex and of course how well they seemed in tune with each other "but is it really so bad, that we find pleasure in each other, and then just do that? We both know we don't need more than this, so it shouldn't be much of a problem?" she raised her eyebrow as if asking a question, which she did do, she did, however, feel awkward talking this way, almost being bare in some ways. The moment she felt Raziel coming closer, her eyes automatically closed, and much like a cat, it meant she in some ways trusted this beautiful woman. She felt some kind of electricity in her lips and cells, the second their lips touched, and she moved them against the other women until the kiss ended "Perfectly, but I somehow always do with you," she admitted, which would be almost a surprise, since she didn't really talk about this type of thing, being vulnerable, unless it was to be funny, much like what she had done earlier, with the question about why they always ended up in bed together "but what about yourself?" she asked seconds later, while also letting her fingers softly almost make patterns across Raziel's skin.

Raziela chuckled a little dryly at Ektarina's tease, however she understood where she was coming from. Truth be told, the empusa was completely enamored by the beautiful daemon by her side, but it didn't mean that she could see the reason in what they were doing. Breathing out in a sigh, she looked at the stunning eyes in front of her, running her hand from her hair and down her arm, moving in soft circles over the pale skin. It was always a relief to hear when she had slept well, or perhaps it was because she knew that she had done their deed right. "Better than for the last few weeks ... I've been staying up late most of the nights I'm home," she admitted, looking at Ekaterina's fingers as they moved around her skin. Closing her eyes, she breathed out, leaning back on the bed before she lazily opened her eyes once more. Fixating on the ceiling for a while she felt like she could finally relax a little bit. "You always unwind me ... In more than one way," she said, looking at Ekaterina with a devious smile, clearly eluding to what they had been doing the night before. She shook her head a little, turning her gaze back to the ceiling, just staring at the empty whiteness of paint. "These days I'm having a hard time even feeling real," she said in almost a whisper before she turned her head to kiss Ekaterina's temple. "But I guess you'll always be there no matter what," she whispered against her skin, closing her eyes and inhaling her scent.
