Once the details were set, Xalvador grabbed her phone to type in his number as she asked him to. He didnt really care where they would be going, but he had muttered that she was free to surprise him. Hell, maybe he would even like it at the museum. He heard his phone buzz in the studio, but mostly due to his great senses. He nodded at her question and noticed how excited she seemed; which made him wonder if she would end up finding him rather boring fast. Though he knew he wasnt boring, it was just his mind trying to convince him that he was. He followed her out to the door and let her out. His expression softened up a little but he did look surprised when she looked back at him. He chuckled and shook his head at himself, lifting a hand to bid her farewell. He closed the door with a deep sigh before he just went in to Gerard’s room and laid down next to the nephilim with a thump. “I’m going on a date this friday,” he said in a soft voice to not wake his friend. He looked up at him and removed some hair from his face. “I hope you dont mind if I steal your lady,” he chuckled and looked up at the ceiling, soon drifting off himself though he didnt really mean to fall asleep next to his friend.

Gerard barely noticed that anyone was on the bed, way too far in his dream world to even begin comprehending the real one. He did however manage, during the night, to move an arm around the big muscular fella next to him, hiding his face away in his pillow as he slept. It was funny how as kids this was usually how they slept, making each other feel some sort of safety from the big bad world outside. It wasn't often that Gerard spoke up about his time before the orphanage, however it had been certain that he had gotten to Churchill a bit by mistake. Done was done, and he had grown up, but just like any other orphan, he didn't like to think why he had been given away like that. The next morning the sun shone through the window, hitting the nephilim in the face and making him groan. However he felt like he needed to get up anyways. Blinking a few times he realized that Xalvador was sleeping next to him, chuckling a bit to himself. "I thought we would outgrow this at some point," he murmured to himself, but got up regardless, letting the hybrid get his beauty rest. While Gerard secretly counted the scars growing, he felt like he didn't want to focus on that today, instead opting to go out in to the kitchen and prepare some breakfast. Turning on the radio made it feel less lonely, and as he started breaking eggs in to a hot pan he checked the fridge for blood. They were running low, but he would have enough for breakfast - or so he hoped. When money had been real low, Gerard had offered up his blood to Xalvador so he wouldn't go hungry, but it hadn't been too pleasant. However he would do it again, only because he considered the guy some sort of brother.

Xalvador didnt find it too unusual to snuggle up to the nephilim in his sleep. It might have been something they both should have outgrown at some point, but they hadnt exactly had any incentive to do that with the childhood they both had shared. Morning hit and Xalvador was still sleeping rather soundly, and he probably wouldnt wake for a little longer. He didnt hear Gerard leave, but simply rolled onto his stomach and mumbled a few tired words in his sleep. Eventually he got up from bed and his eyes before drying off just a little bit of drool. He went to the kitchen and drew in a deep breath. “God damn, it smells so nice in here,” he said in a raspy tired tone, stretching a little before he grabbed his mug from yesterday. Looking into it he felt a little annoyed that he hadnt rinsed it yesterday. “Sorry for falling asleep in your bed. Habits like that die hard,” he said with a shrug. He went to the sink to clean it off, looking at the pan with jealous eyes. “I wish I could eat that,” he said with a deep sigh, grabbing a cloth to dry the mug.

Gerard smiled slightly as Xalvador seemed to come in to the kitchen, his voice clearly showing signs of snoring. Not that the nephilim noticed once he slept anyways. "Don't mention it ... Sometimes it's nice not to feel alone," he chuckled, adding bacon to the pan now. The notion of the hybrid wanting to eat made him laugh under his breath. "I always do look good when I've had a full eight hours of sleep," he said, twitching his eyebrows in a teasing manner. Grabbing a plate he sucked some grease off his thumb humming along to the low music on the radio. "So how soon after I fell asleep did you scare my sweet lady away?" he asked with a smirk gracing his lips. He knew that it wasn't all of his acquaintances that was a fan of the often very secluded hybrid. "Because I wasn't awakened by a horrified scream," he added, moving the finished eggs to his place, flipping the bacon to fry the other side.

“A whole eight hours? We should almost celebrate,” he said in an astonished tone but it was clearly just to tease the nephilim and his horrible sleeping pattern. He inspected the mug to be sure that it was completely clean. The last thing he wanted was to get sick due to old blood mixing with new blood. His question made Xalvador frown a little but not because he was angry. Frankly he was quite surprised himself that he hadnt just scared her away. “She had to wait for her transport, so she stuck around for a bit. We talked and she invited me on a date,” he explained, going to the fridge to grab a bag of blood. He filled the cup and placed the bag back in the fridge. “I think I like her. She’s sweet and nice.... But I’m sure I’ll screw up somehow. I always manage to do that,” he said before he sighed deeply and frowned a little at Gerard. “You make it seem so easy, but I’m sure it’s the accent. You sound like a romantic movie, I sound like.... well I dont know, like a mariachi band is waiting around the corner,” he chuckled, taking a sip of his mug. It was one of the few things from their past that he had held onto, that old mug that he had stolen on the day he ran away.

Gerard gave him a light push with his elbow at the tease, shaking his head as he smiled. It was silly really, but he liked it when they could joke around like this. The world seemed less scary when they did. While cooking he listened to what his brother had to say, looking at him with an approving nod as he described being asked on a date. Truth was, Gerard had kinda hoped it would happen. Even if the hybrid was clueless, he could use some more friends. "Well, she is a great girl, very smart and attentive - But just as strong as she might come off, she feels a little weak underneath; Or at least that is how she feels when she gets in front of the camera," he explained, shrugging. He had found Eliza a great conversationalist, very sweet and genuine, but Gerard needed someone who shared in his artistic passion, hence why he was rarely with a woman for more than a few months before they got tired of him and his work. That and the fact that commitment could be a big danger in his eyes. "I don't make it look easy," he protested, frowning as he looked at the hybrid, cracking up as he mentioned a mariachi band; mostly because he could imagine it. "Most women like an accent even if it's slight; And you don't look half bad ... When you remember to change from your work clothes," he teased. "But I think you should just go for it - Eliza's sweet and she could use some good people in her life," he sighed before moving the bacon to his plate. Sitting down at the kitchen table he started eating, chewing as he looked at the mug in Xalvador's hand. It brought back a lot of memories, most of them a bit mixed emotions wise, but good in the hands of the hybrid.

He narrowed his eyes a little at the explanation that there was something underneath. He felt a little lost which showed in his expression, because with his denseness, how was he supposed to see that himself? "Man, stop talking, you pull so many women that I should be angry at you for not giving me better advices," he chuckled and shook his head in disbelief. The protest made him give the nephilim a long stare, like he wasnt really buying it. "What's wrong with my work clothes?" he asked with a surprised expression, looking himself up and down before looking at his brother. He took a sip from his mug and kept standing as Gerard went to sit. He was clearly considering his options before he made a deep sigh and shrugged. "Let's not set things in stone. She's still only getting to know me," he finally said after a while, deciding to sit down anyway and lean back with a deep sigh. "Who knows, maybe she'll realize too fast that I'm just a dumbass," he chuckled. He sat for a bit in his own thoughts before he drew in a deep breath and looked at Gerard. "What are your plans for today then? Editing your photos?" he asked, narrowing his eyes as he was merely guessing.

"Nothing, you look great in leather," Gerard said, chuckling under his breath as he shook his head. "It's just ... You might seem a little too intimidating," he pointed out, a warm smile on his lips. He was just trying to look out for him, and even if Xalvador was dense, he could perhaps understand that appearance mattered. As he sat down, it was like Gerard could sense his brother giving up already, hearing him say words like that hurt him. "You just have to put yourself out there ... Even if Eliza isn't the one she's still someone worthy of a friendship," he pointed out, shrugging lightly. Cutting up his eggs he ate them with a bit of bacon chewing on it. The mention of work made him sigh, not because he hated it, more so because he had felt so uninspired lately. "I have to get a picture ready for the upcoming patron event - And I think we could need a boost for rent anyways, so I might as well find something they'll like," he said, scratching his neck a little. Sometimes it could be nice to just show off something meaningful, but in this case he more so needed funding. "Besides, you barely keep yourself fed anyways, so the least I can do is get you some better quality blood," he pointed out, grabbing a mouthful of food.
