Four clover fuckers forever

It was a little weird that they had gone from a group of five to never seeing each other anymore. Vanessa had guessed that her and Ethan being a couple had affected things somehow but then Ayalla and Gareth had their thing and broke up and Darren had a thing for Ayalla that wasnt working out for either of them. And then there was the shit that had gone down at the temples and left Darren completely unresponsive. It worried her. And right now beside Ethan, it felt lonely. No Ayalla, not even annoying Gareth or annoyed Darren. She felt Ethan’s arm around her a little closer, scoffing softly at his mutter.
“No. She’s not replying to my texts. And well… she left. When she does this, she cant be found. Well, Samuel probably knows but no fucking way in hell would I ask anything of him.” She said, closing her eyes for a bit as she drew in a shaky breath. It was quite chilly outside, she told herself that. “Gareth is out dealing drugs. Or pissing off some girls that he used to date.” She sighed. Darren? She didnt know. “I thought we were going out tonight to forget all the bullshit.” She muttered, frowning a little. She was just hurting, and ot was a feeling she hated more than anything.

“It’s fine. It’s not your fault they left. And even if it was, they’re the ones that chose to leave.” She muttered, frowning a little. Maybe she did feel a bit bitter, feeling scorned when everyone had just upped and left. Gareth was still kind of there for her but he was so weird lately that she couldnt stand him. Darren and Ayalla? Whole other story. Ethan’s words dragged her out of her thoughts as well as him stopping. She followed his lead and they ended up somewhere close to a bar. He held around her and she had to admit that she of late only really felt safe in his arms. The forts and everything else was pointless if he wasnt there. “Right here?” She chuckled. It was an odd location they stood in but she didnt really mind. He spoke again and she just hummed, leaning in to connect their lips gently. It at least had to start out gently. Vanessa could seem dominant if not distant and cold from time to time. But she just needed someone to take the lead once in a while; well someone she’d trust. And she trusted Ethsn. “Maybe… next to a shitty bar in the middle of Western isnt exactly a moodsetter for making out.” She remarked before she started chuckling.

His mutter only added to her triumpf and broadened her smile more. Yeah, she was quite lovable wasnt she? He could always do that, make her remember that she was good enough. He moved free and she followed along as they went to look for a store. It didnt look like much, kind of just like the usual stores they had looted for fun with their friends. “I’ll try.” She smiled. It was easier with Darren but she was sure she could try some things.
Going in, the selection was broad. It definitely was more fun to just take things. And how could she ever get in trouble with her pest of a father keeping an eye on her? Remembering Ethan’s requesr, she went up to the clerk, her eyes soft and sweet like a doe’s as she asked for help. Taking out her phone she explained how she wasnt so sure how to figure out where she was. He was quite helpful in explaining, but she seemed to just up the notch further as to seem lost. She was glancing towards Ethan from time to time wondering if he was doing well.
