Not the usual

It had been a weird day. Most days Benjamin just kept to the city, but these days he felt the need to seek out danger. Maybe it was a cry for help, but Nelinha had been busy, and the rest of his family didn't seem to notice him as much as he wanted to. Perhaps he was just attention seeking in his own right. He was standing in the pub area of the Old Mill, basically just scoping out the travelers who was staying there. He would never be let in on the fancy hotels in town, so here he could see the cheap travelers that knew nothing of the blocks outside. He had grown up in this area, but he rarely visited. Family was not his strong suit. To be honest, he didn't know what his strong suit was, but he guessed he knew how to make money. Most females going through here found him enticing, his skin darker and his height making him look mysterious. The men found him an easy bang, finding that bending him forward made him match with their hips quite nicely. Maybe he was stupid for making money this way, but it was the only thing he knew how to do. No education had really been given to him, and he felt like his street smarts was enough.

Losing Xander has made her quite frustrated, especially because she wasnt used to not having things go her way. But as soon as her parents had found out that she had gotten herself involved in something like that, even going as far to kidnap the nephilim and hold him captive, it was safe to say they had told her nicely to let to let it go. If there was anyone Nahia couldnt cross, then it was her parents. She was just happy she ended it on trashing the hybrid's apartment. But it didnt mean she would let it go. It was just on hold for now. She had settled for the pub, wanting to hide from her parents just while their disappointment was slowly cooling off. She was sitting by the bar, drinking some sort of bloodwine that tasted alright.

Benjamin was far from slow in perceiving people from their looks, but he had been eyeing a woman for quite a while now. She was rather slender, a petite figure that seemed to match so beautifully with her delicate features. Normally he didn't mind stepping up to girls to see if they were interested, but he felt a little contemplating about this one. She looked to fancy to belong here, making him wonder if she was in cahoots with the police. He grabbed his drink, a simple soda as he didn't like to get drunk on the job. Slowly he made his way through the room, sitting down next to her at the bar and shaking his empty glass at the bartender. The bartender scoffed at Benjamin, he knew why he was here, but it was his hustle. Slowly he turned his dark eyes to look at the beauty next to him. "I like your hat," he said, pulling a quite goofy yet awfully charming smile at the vampyre next to him. Not that race mattered much, but he knew a thing or two about vampyres by now. "You here alone?" he asked, trying to sound casual, but his urban tongue was hard to find. It was worse when he was hanging out with the rest of the Summers, they just seem to cackle like chicken and people rarely understood them but themselves.

Sitting at the bar, she was looking at her glass, frowning a little as she would prefer having a straw in it. There was just something about straws that she liked, but maybe it was because it reminded her of feeding by the way you had to suck up the liquid. She was pulled from her mind as she noticed someone out of the corner of her eye, turning her odd coloured eyes to look at whoever it was. She made a small frown at his words before she glanced up at the pink fabric that she could barely see, "Thank you," she said as she looked back at him. She could smell how human he was, even in a place as filled with different smells as this was. Maybe it was just because she hadnt fed properly since she had gotten a taste of the nephilim that wouldnt leave her mind. But she liked the chocolate brown that his eyes had - She hadnt ever eaten the sweet, but she saw how humans liked it. "Yes, I am alone," she said, frowning a little as she snapped at the bartender to get her a straw. She turned her eyes back to him before she ran her eyes up and down his whole being for a bit. "How much for being my pet for the night?" she then asked, tilting her head as she looked at him. It didnt matter to her what he was here for, she couldnt care less if he was just some random traveller, she just wanted to take her mind of her frustrations.

Benjamin just smiled at her thanks, knowing that compliments like that was probably something she heard often. Of course he could never realistically date someone like her, but he would like to imagine it. He turned his eyes front, staring in to the empty air as she said she was alone, making him smile a little cheeky. The way she snapped at the bartender made him chuckle, looking down in to his still empty glass. At her question he ran his finger along the rim of his glass, shrugging a little as if he pretended he didn't know what she spoke of, however he got a feeling that she wanted him in some way. He didn't mind that, as long as the payment was decent. "100 bucks an hour," he said. He knew that compared to some others he was rather cheap, but he needed the money. "If you want some kink, then that's 50 bucks on top of each hour," he added. He knew people these days had fetishes, but if he was to perform something crazy he wanted to get more. He looked at her, flashing her a small charming grin.

Benjamin felt his jaw drop at the mention of that much money, closing his mouth as she touched his chin. He swallowed, watching as she turned to look at her drink. It sounded almost too good to be real. Ten thousand for a night. He looked down in to his empty glass, thinking of the things he could do with that amount of money. "What ... Erhm ... Would the love you part be about? Like words only, touch or ...?" he asked. If he was to act as her lover or boyfriend, he needed to know the limits. Would she like to be touched, or was she just going to control it all?

He hardly knew how to react, but her question made him chuckle lightly. Mostly because he had never really loved anyone. He thought love as a dangerous path, one that made people fall head over heels for an idea in their head. "I wouldn't just perform, would I? It would have to be the truth," he said in a thoughtful voice. If she wanted this to be considered realistic, then he had to convince himself, at least a little bit, that it was the reality for the night. "I'll accept your offer, but I want half now, half when the job's done," he said, frowning a little. If she meant it, he would want to see some of that money before tossing himself in to such a game.

He frowned at her words, mostly because she hadn't even seen him do anything yet. He thought the deal was out the window, well that was before she jumped down from her chair and said they should grab his half. Following her, he couldn't help but look around as she kicked the carton down the street. The mention of a seraph made him sigh, walking to her to place an arm around her. "Tell me all about him," he said, knowing that she might not like his arm around her, but at least it was somewhat couple-y. Benjamin could see how the vampire seemed to struggle, and for some reason he felt like helping her. Well, helping her mostly because she said she was good for ten grand. "Is he an ex-boyfriend or something?" he asked.

She frowned a little in surprise as she felt his arm around her, automatically leaning her head a little against him. She was a sucker for intimacy, all kinds of it actually. She looked up at him with sad eyes as she then looked at the ground for a moment, "He's dead to me. He broke my heart," she said, placing a hand on her chest as her frown grew deeper. She wasnt actually hurting from heartache, but the lack of control she had had over the situation. His question made her sniffle, as she looked down, shaking her head, "He's a monster that wont leave my mind alone. I would have given him my all, but he loved another... And still, I love him so much," she said, closing her eyes to exhale deeply. Obviously she was lying about the whole situation, but she was an awfully excellent liar on that front - Mostly because she believed it was the way she had put it in her head. "I just want to forget him for a while..." but was that just till her parents had cooled off?

Benjamin listened to her as they walked, and somehow he felt a bit of pity for the vampyre. He still had his arm wrapped around her, feeling her head leaning against him was rather nice, even if she was cold. Listening to her speak he knew why she wanted to feel loved, and if she could provide him with the money, he would do anything in his power to show her that intimacy that she craved. "He sounds like an idiot," he said, frowning as he looked ahead as they walked. "I mean, who wouldn't want a girl like you? You're extremely beautiful and you seem very smart," he said with a thoughtful voice. His urban accent shining through, however he knew the only smarts he had came from the streets. "And if I were you I'd forget about him all together, find someone that treats you right; You a real prize," he said, nodding to himself to confirm his own words.

Her words made him chuckle a little, because she had seen right through him. "I think love is an illusion we tell ourselves to excuse the hate in the world," he said in a sour voice. The world had never been kind to him, so why would he believe the idea of someone out there that could make the hurt subside? "I mean, sex makes the world go round, don't get me wrong, but real love like in the movies - I don't believe it exists," he confessed, looking ahead as she nuzzled her head against his arm. As they reached the parking lot he did as he was told. He had seen something like this before, so he didn't want to get shot or anything else for that matter. As she came back, he looked at the suitcase, opening to peak inside it. All he saw was a load of cash, but he had never been good at counting or anything of that sorts. He would just have to believe her. "In love we trust," he said, smiling as he clearly meant it ironically, but he also meant it as he believed in her. "So, what does my girlfriend wish to spend the rest of the night on?" he asked, a charming smile on his lips.

His words about love made her chuckle, "Interesting choice of words, when you dont believe in it," she teased him, having noted his words before about love. She wasnt sure what she thought about love, except that it obviously could be bought. She shrugged at his question, looking up at him as she placed her hand around his arm again. She frowned for a second at remembering this feeling, but decided to shake her head, "We should go to a partyyy," she said with a playful tone as she smiled brightly, hugging his arm closer as she started walking. She then eyed the suitcase, "Do you need to stop by somewhere and drop that off?" she asked before she looked up at him.

Benjamin sighed, chuckling a bit at her teasing words, but he didn't mind it. Frankly she could say anything right now and he wouldn't care, mostly because he was getting payed for this. Her suggestion about a party made him nod, but he wanted to drop off the money at a safe location first, and just as that thought popped in his head she seemed to ask him if he wanted to store it somewhere. He nodded. "I have a place I could drop it off; depends on where we goin'," he said. He moved with her, recognizing the streets rather well. He had been living on them for a while now. "It'll just be a minute," he said, moving out of her grip to go to what looked like a run down apartment, knocking on the door. Nelinha opened, looking at Benjamin with skeptical eyes. "C'mon Nelly, I just needa put this here viws you, and then I'm off," he said, sending her a charming smile. Nelinha sighed, grabbing the small suitcase before slamming the door in his face. Benjamin chuckled as he ran back to Nahia. "All sorted," he promised.

"You should probably drop it off," she assured him with her eyes narrowed slightly. She wasnt sure where they were supposed to go, but she thought it had to be somewhere wild. She just wanted to let loose just for one night and not think of anything than doing whatever she wanted. Watching him as he went, she didnt really care much for who or where he was dropping off the money, but she did take a quick glance around. She scrunched her nose a little at how everything looked so.... poor. She hadnt really ever taken the time to actually look at the things around her and now she felt like she was regretting that. The human returned and she looked at him with curious eyes at his promise. "Perfect," she said with a sweet smile rolling over her lips, grabbing his hand and off they went again. She didnt look around again, keeping her eyes on the way ahead. She frankly couldnt wait to get to to a club where she could let loose. "Are you scared of vampyric clubs?" she asked in a light teasing tone. She wouldnt blame him if he was.
