General information
- Bael created the daemons with the intent to ruin his sister's angelic creation. Though this was supposed to be the nature of daemons at first, they have strayed from their goal over time.
- The goal for daemons in the present seem rather unclear, while they have strayed from their purpose, it seems that more daemons selfishly pursues power of their own.
- Some daemons that still follow Bael, have become agents of chaos as they lure other species to stray from their gods.
- Daemons feast purely on souls of other living beings.
- Daemons are per usual power hungry by nature. They are the sociopaths of society, often seeking powerful titles.
- While certain daemons can be told apart with distinctive features, daemons have been made to walk among humans in perfected disguises to hide their true self. Only when they trigger their daemon form, will drastic changes appear. One's daemon form may differ from daemon to daemon, but their forms are known to be quite foul and deformed compared to a normal human.

Trivia
- Being a daemon hasnt always been a blissful adventure. Once were these dark creatures merely puppets for their god to use. It's only now when most have strayed from their creator's control that it's fun to be a daemon.
- All depending on their loyalty for their god and creator, will affect how each daemon feel about meeting a seraph. A loyal daemon will attack while a daemon that has strayed from their purpose just feels disgust. It's unlikely that a daemon can be friends with a seraph.

Creation lore
- Bael wanted his own creation that was the opposite of Verity's pure and beautiful creation, thus were the daemons made.
- To do so, he created four types of daemons that would later form the five core types of the daemon race.
- Daemons are sinful humans that have met their end, but before that human is put at their trial, Bael uses their sin to fuel a new life for them as a daemon.
- Daemons can also be made of angels that have been captured and tortured to the point where their pure nature crumbles to something sinister and evil.
- In later years, daemons can be bred, but a daemon child is wild and usually discarded by their parents, leaving many daemon kids orphaned and/or homeless.

Lifecycle
- Pregnancy: Its not common for daemons to be birthed by anyone else than other daemons. A human male could impregnate a daemon female, but a human female would most likely not survive a pregnancy. It requires a strong physique as the fetus will be behaving like a tornado in the womb.
- As a child: Daemon children are not known to live long as their natural wild side usually clashes with the chaos in their parents. A strong willed daemon parent can maybe contain the wild child, but these small vicious beings mostly believe in the strength they see.
- As a teenager: As the wild child grows, it slowly finds a way to control it's need for chaos, as it comes to figure out how the world works. To rise in ranks and power, means calm and collected - Which is what they become as they get closer and closer to adulthood.
- As an adult: As an adult, most daemons are known sociopaths, enjoying spreading chaos on a mental level through the people around them. Some daemons can feel empathy and some can even to a point bear some goodness in them, but it's not that common.
- Death: A daemon’s death means that they’ve failed their cause and as punishment has Bael created his own realm for the fallen daemons to suffer for as long as he sees fit. A few selected ones are given a second chance at life, but if they fail him again, Abyssus awaits them for eternity.

Looks
- Daemon form: Some daemons can turn to their natural self, something that looks like an abomination compared to humans. Their skin can be ash-grey to blood-red depending on the daemon. Every daemon form is different.
- Scent: Daemons have this alluring smell to them.
- Eyes: You can recognize a daemon on their eyes, as a glimmer of chaos is usually raging behind them.

Personality:
- Daemons can be persuasive and charming by nature.
- Most daemons have a craving for power and chaos.
- They are selfish creatures that put their own needs before others.

Strengths (For daemons in general, each sub-species will have their own set of strengths added to these, if they have any)
- They are immortal if not killed.
- Their immune system is pretty good.
- They heal wounds faster than humans.
- Since they live off souls of other creatures, like other predators they have enhanced senses to spot weakened prey.

Weaknesses (For daemons in general, each sub-species will have their own set of weaknesses added to these)
- They can die, if they suffer from: Huge blood-loss, their heart is harmed, being affected by sickness for daemons only, or if their soul is ingested or destroyed in any manner (Though this means they wont get an afterlife).
- Clergys can create some kind of holy water that works like acid on daemons - Ingesting or touching this water will feel like lava for a daemon.
- Seraphims and clergy's have a set of words that can harm or trap daemons.

Pureblood daemons

Creation lore
- These are the most common daemons around, since they were the first to be created by Bael.
- The first daemon was created when Bael lured a simple human to his temple where he offered him the gift of immortality with a great strength to follow. He offered his godly blood for the human to consume and the blood quickly changed the human to something foul and ugly. Bael however, granted his creation a disguise as the human it had once been.
- More and more pureblood daemons were created afterwards, but the first would be known as a descendant to Bael himself.
- These daemons can strike deals with creatures that bear a soul, though these contracts are not known to be too safe as the creature taking the deal will have to offer their soul in return.

Race-abilities:
- Deal-makers: They can create contracts in exchange for a soul. What the contract may entail depends on the one offering up their soul.
- Demonic form: Usually a hideous exterior, but filled with strength beyond comprehension.

Cambions

Creation lore
- These daemons are created when a daemon breeds with a non-daemon. It's not exactly a hybrid but it's not the same as a pureblood either.
- Cambions are in a grey area as to what Bael expects of them, as he doesnt care much for those that arent pureblood.
- They arent as strong as a pureblood, but they are not as bound to their demonic ways as a pureblood is.
- These tend to not have a demonic form to turn into, but instead they have a part of their body that they can change into what would have been their natural form (An arm, leg, etc).

Race abilities
- Selective transformation: Cambions can transform a body part into what would have been their demonic form.
- Hidden aura: These daemon's aura are harder for other creatures to read.

Turned daemons

Creation lore
- When a human dies, there is a chance that Bael himself will snatch the soul and send it to his temple where the person will rise again as a daemon.
- These have the ability to possess bodies as their own has died long ago - But that are physically weak like a humans will decay over time, the longer a daemon possesses them.
- A turned daemon can also be made from an angel that has been through torture by daemons till the point where they are stripped of their virtue and purity.
- These daemons are more prone to violence, depending on how they were turned. Some of them may not even want to be a daemon, while others embrace their new life fully.

Race abilities
- Wings:These daemons have been granted dark wings that resemble the wings on a seraphim, though a daemon's wings look worn and broken.
- Possession: They can possess someone else's body.

Empusas

Creation lore
- Empusas are the females of the daemonic race, though females can be any of these daemonic races, the common one is empusa.
- The empusa is more driven to their physical need to taint creatures around them, usually through attraction.
- It's safe to assume that most empusas are models.

Race abilities
- Demonic transformation: They can shapeshift their form, transforming and reshaping themselves, however only to a humanoid form, which is the same gender as their original self. Thereby they can turn in to something alluring to anyone.
- Minion-making A person affected by their alluring looks for a longer period can be turned into a minion.

Summoners

Creation lore
- These where once priests and devout followers of Bael. For their loyalty, he changed them into their own sort of daemon, granting them the ability to summon creatures from Abyssus that they can control.
- Though, with such power came a price and these daemons had their upper body covered in marks, some marks are a faint grey colour while others can get deep-set black ones - These are for daemons to recognize them. A mark was also formed in their palm, allowing them to summon the creatures from Abyssus if a blood offer is made by them drawing their handmark with their own blood.
- Summoners are a part of a cult devoted to Bael, as they otherwise are shunned and hunted to be killed - For such ability to summon creatures were only meant for the devoted.

Strengths
- These daemons are fuelled on the evil around them, granting them acess to their summons through darkness and sin.
- They are physically stronger than humans, but not stronger than other daemons.
- Their sole weapon in a fight is their summon, though they possess some physical strength, it's rare that they use it.

Weaknesses
- They are not stronger than the following species: Vampyres, other daemons and lycans.
- They dont have a daemonic form as the rest of the daemons.
- They are fairly easy to identify as their right palm carries a mark with their name written in demonic lettering inside of it.
- The name in their mark is their biggest weakness as other creatures can use it to control the daemon. To avoid that, most of the daemons have changed their names from what's in their hand.

Race abilities
- Summons: They can summon creatures from the Abyssus (Hound / Reaper / Soul-scout) though only one can be out at a time.
- Ghoul-making: A summoner can bring back the remains of the deceased though what comes back is usually not what have been.
