New race, future plans and an IRL update!

General information
We are now in the fourth month of this year, and we are excited for the future. While the world right now might not seem as ideal as it was last time we posted a news update, we hope that everyone is happy and stays safe. We are hard at work to keep improving this site, and we are very pleased to see newcomers join us!

The new race: The astrelis
A new race is joining the ranks of Kaleidoscope, the astrelis. You can read all about them here. The race is very much an experiment, and we have had to revise our previous rules regarding abilities. It must be noted that "magic", as an ability is now open, but ONLY to those of the astrelis race. Magic has always been a part of Kaleidoscope as a world, however wielding such magic has been reserved for the gods and goddesses. We hope that you find this addition intriguing, and that you like this new addition to our list of races.

New things coming
While it might've looked like we have been sleeping, it has been far from true. We are very excited to bring the world of Kaleidoscope, and subsequently the world of Gambion to life. Please also remember that we are in fact still taking suggestions if there is an area you would like added. Never hesitate to write to us, or even reply to this news post if you want to share it in plenum.
Some things we have been working on is a description of the alternative food supplies for daemons and vampyres, and we think we are just about ready to post the guide.

IRL: The world right now
As mentioned in my starting entrance, the world right now is rather tense. COVID-19 is ruthless, a pandemic of which none of us has experienced in recent memory. We urge our members to be safe, wash their hands and listen to what your nearest healthcare providers tell you to do. While we hate to implement real life occurrences in our news for a fantasy based roleplaying site, we feel like it is part of our responsibility to keep spreading the word. Stay safe and follow your government's guidelines, this way we can all protect those in our society that could be vulnerable to this virus.
