General information
- Lycans do not necessarily form packs, however they are few and far between, as they like to be around as many different types of races they can.
- Lycans are mostly known to be carnivores, especially when they are in their lycan form. They like hunting, but it is strictly animals (and on occasion vampyres, although it is up to the individual lycan).
- While they are very empathic and social, they often need breaks away, especially if the phase of the moon is affecting them in one way or another.
- While there is an internal disagreement with the vampyres, it is far from as serious as with daemons and seraphim.

Trivia
- They are known as being very warm blooded, and therefor rarely gets cold.
- They are often seen as being rather animalistic by society as a whole, garnering often some slurs about them not being in control of themselves.

Creation lore
- While Koric was the last to be created of his siblings, he was far more thoughtful about his creations. The lycans were created mostly to retaliate on the fact his sibling Caemille had created a species that seemed to devour Gambion by the minute. Koric decided to create a very empathic race, that could withstand the bite of a vampyre, and their blood potentially kill one too. The lycans as a race showed to be quite animalistic, but loyal to their creator. Most lycans show to be carnivores.

Lifecycle
- Pregnancy: Being pregnant with a lycan be quite the rollercoaster of emotions. Because lycans are so connected with emotions and their hot temper, the mother experiences rapid change in moods depending on the fetus.
- As a child: As children they are quite unruly, liking to play wild games with their siblings, however refraining from hurting anyone. They are compared a lot to wolf cubs in the wild, exploring and seeing the world as a large playground.
- As a teenager: Once puberty hits, the lycan starts feeling a mixture of wanting to control it's temper and just wanting to let it's temper run wild. The teenage lycan can often say things purely based on emotions, like telling someone they love them right after meeting a beautiful person, or breaking the toaster because it burnt the toast.
- As an adult: As adults, the lycan slowly gets control over it's temper, however if it is not careful, the temper can still have quite the grip. An adult lycan is better at making judgements of characters, and while they do still trust most of it's own kind, it has a weariness to them.
- Death: When a lycan dies, Koric will be their defendant. Koric is known as very passionate about his creations, often handing in pages long papers of what good things the lycan has done throughout it's lifetime. The statistic for a lycan getting in to the good place is unknown, but speculated to be rather high.

Looks
- Eyes: Lycans have a golden tint to their eyes which can have whichever colour.
- Body heat: Most lycans have hot blood, as well as their heartrate being faster than a humans.
- Lycan form: During transformation, the human grows sharp teeth, more hair covers the body, nails become like claws, and facial features including the nose, eyes, and mouth become larger. Muscles grow longer especially around the legs as the lycan grows in height, to a max of 2.30 meters. The normal human eyes are replaced by the golden glow to a full glowing yellow.

Personality
- Lycans are known as hotheads, not only because of their warm bodies but because of their temper.
- Their temper is usually because of the empathy they feel for those around them. They are emotional creatures that cares deeply for the mortal among them, unlike their vampyrian counterpart.
- They are known to be quite wild and animalistic in their ways, they dont care much for riches or status.
- They are very much affected by the phases of the moon:
- - - Full moon: The time where the lycan is most aggressive and in contact with it's animalistic side.
- - - Waxing gibbous: The animalistic side starts to subside a bit.
- - - First quarter: The lycan feels most balanced between animalistic and human side.
- - - Waxing crescent: The animalistic side starts to fade.
- - - New moon: The lycan appears submissive, rarely starts fights, and generally seems more peaceful.
- - - Waning crescent: The animalistic sides starts to reappear.
- - - Third quarter: The lycan feels most balanced between animalistic and human side.
- - - Waining gibbous: The animalistic side becomes clearer.

Strengths
- A lycans strength lies in it's lycan form. But some of that strength does carry over to it's human form as lycans are typically muscular humans.
- Their blood is poisonous to ingest, but especially by vampyre's, making them the perfect counterpart to that species.
- They rarely become sick, most believe it is due to their high body temperature, making it an unfit place for virus to spread.
- They are very empathic, often caring much for the friends they manage to get, and getting a partner for them often feels like mating for life.

Weaknesses
- Pure silver can hurt a lycan, mostly in wounds were the silver have to be washed out with warm water. Ingesting pure silver can kill a lycan.
- They are mortal beings, and if wounds won't kill them, then time will.
- Their temper can easily become their own undoing, especially if they just jump in to a fight without thinking.
- They have a very fast metabolism, meaning they need to eat a lot to maintain their physique and health.
- While they are not forced to transform during the full moon, they are strongly affected by the phases of the moon.

Race abilities
- Empathy: A lycan have the ability to sense someones emotions through touch.
- Transformation: They can transform in to their true form at will, a wolf like figure that seems more animal than human.
- Poisonous blood: The blood of a lycan is extremely poisonous, especially so for vampyres.
