She wasn't really looking for Abel to tell her what to do, but he did warn her. Sometimes she felt that was all that people did regarding Kurtis, warn her about him or his actions. But she knew that deep down he felt something for her. She had seen it this morning when he had held her close, promising to protect her and be there for her. "Well I'm not gonna force anyone to be in a relationship, that's for sure," she said, letting go of Abel to get up. Turning around she looked at him, smiling as she leaned down over him, placing a sweet and almost innocent peck against his lips. "I have to go catch him before he starts spiraling; Go check up on Jeremy, he's been missing you too you know," she said before she left him to go inside. She braided her still damp hair, making it more manageable before putting on a baseball cap. As she went she tried calling Kurtis, just to get a feel of where he was. She felt almost giddy, like she could finally tell him, couldn't she?

He nodded at her words and watched her get up. He couldnt tell her what would happen if she went after Kurtis, all he could really do was wish her well. "I'll g-go see what Jeremy is u-up to." he said, watching her walk off before his expression turned a little sad. He got up before he called Jeremy to hear what he was up to, leaving but on the way at least make sure that he had said goodbye to Carla as well.

Kurtis was sitting on the roof of his house, next to his window as he was smoking his cigarettes and just sitting in his own thoughts. He looked at his phone as it started buzzing, blinking a few times as he saw who it was. He still felt angry and hurt, so it wasnt really surprising that he didnt pick up. He just finished his cigarette and extinguished it right on the stone of the roof before he crawled back inside. He went down into the kitchen and grabbed himself a bottle of water, his mother sitting with some magazines. "You reek of smoke, Kurtiepie." she said, wafting her hand in front of her face with a wrinkle on her nose. "That's funny, because I was actually just smoking. Funny how that works, huh?" he just replied in a hiss before he walked back up to his room. His mother sighed and shook her head.

Fuck, he wasn't picking up. Alright, fair, she had to be sneaky. Writing Jeremy for Kurtis' address she took a taxi there, knowing that it was her best bet to show up there. Arriving in Central she looked around Highstreet, trying to find heads and tales of all of the lavish houses, but she managed to find the spot. Ringing the gate felt a little weird, but she had come this far. She stood a bit until the gate was answered. "Hi, I'm Zaira Rojas - I'm in class with Kurtis at Saint Jules," she said, smiling and acting the role of a well behaved young woman. If she was buzzed in she would head up the driveway, arriving at the door where a butler stood ready to open it for her. She looked around. Fuck this house was big! How many different levels were there? It looked rather crazy, but she just asked the butler for the way to Kurtis' room, eventually being lead there. Once there she was about to knock on the door, but the butler knocked for her before bowing and leaving. She just stood there for a while, and if she heard him saying to go away she would open the door anyways, "Kurtis?" Peaking her head in carefully.

His room was fairly clean, only having small messes of clothes that he couldnt be assed. It was quite stylish in the sense that he had racks for his chains and things that normally probably was suited for a girl's room, but translated into a masculine style. He just sat down on the couch that he had in his room, looking up towards the ceiling as he swung the bottle over the side of the couch just because he could. He heard a knock, knowing it was a guest that had arrived. He just didnt answer all together and still she came in. "Why are you here?" he just asked, looking at her only for a second before looking up at the ceiling again. He drew in a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair. "Actually... it doesnt matter." he just said. He was so hurt and there was no point in him to even try and control himself. "I saw how you looked at each other, it was so fucking clear to me then." he just said in a bitter tone, swallowing hard as he still wouldnt look at her.

She came in and his question did hurt a bit. Didn't he know why she was there? Was he really not catching on? He continued, talking about her and Abel, but she just came closer. If he even let her she would take his hand, lifting it up to her chest, letting him feel how fast her heart was beating. She felt pretty speechless, but her body moved on its own, sitting down on top of him like she had done that night. Only this time it felt more intimate, more raw and she couldn't help but smile a little as her eyes welled up. "I guess I'm not the only one who's daft, huh?" she said, sniffling as she looked down. Couldn't he just cheat? Touch her skin and know what she was trying to say? "Can I kiss you?" her voice shaky as she clearly felt nervous about the reply.

He did notice her coming closer but he didnt seem to really react to it, just still looking at the ceiling till she was reaching out for his hand. He let her take it, but he was definitely too unfocused to really feel what she was feeling. It was hard enough to make out his own feelings as it was. She sat down on him and that's when he looked at her, indifference in his eyes though she seemed to be smiling. "What's so damn funny?" he asked, clenching his jaw a little before she called him daft. He furrowed his brows and just kept quiet, wasnt even able to think of a comeback. Then she asked a question that made his eyes change as he looked hurt. "You're an idiot." he hissed, sitting up as he moved a hand up to her face, touching it tenderly and yet careful like he was somehow afraid. "... Dont ever fucking ask me again and just do it already."

"Only if you promise to kiss me back," she said, smiling at him as he just held her face so careful. She leaned in, pressing her lips to his, finally letting herself feel those emotions that she had been scared to. Her hands just rested on his shoulders, moving her lips so tenderly against his as she felt her heart go crazy.
After a while she had to breathe and she pulled away, gasping softly for air as she felt like she hadn't really kissed anyone like this before. It was so different and yet so familiar. Like when he had held her, she felt safe and content. "You don't have to say or do anything," she said, looking down before her eyes met his. She would regret it if she didn't say it now that she was feeling it so strongly. "i love you," she finally gave in. He didn't have to say it back. He didn't even have to commit to her. But she just needed to get it off her chest and then she could tackle the consequences thereafter.

Her response was perfect but he didnt answer other than a slight nod before she leaned down to connect their lips. He tenderly returned it as he wrapped an arm around her. He definitely felt it to be so different too, it was probably the best feeling he had felt in a while. Which was also just so scary. She pulled away and he gasped softly for air as she was speaking. What did she mean by that? He looked at her as she confessed, blinking a few times as he took it in. "You love me?" he asked, like he couldnt really believe she had just said that. No she couldnt, she possibly couldnt. All the rumors about him, she had probably heard those and much more. He was no good. "Why?"

Was it really so hard to believe that he could be loved? She just knew that he felt scared, and she wasn't the one with crazy lycan powers. Her thumbs caressed his jawline on each side of his face, looking at him as she thought her words through. She couldn't really justify it with a because I say so if he was seriously doubting his worth. "I've been having nightmares about you and Abel for a while now; And each time it ended with you going away," she said, feeling herself a bit exposed, but she knew that this was her chance to tell him. "And this morning, it was the same, but only so much worse," she whispered, "in my nightmare you found me in the room with Finn and you started yelling at me, calling me a slut or whatnot." It was quite the mouthful to take in, but she took a deep breath as she continued. "But when I woke up and told you everything, you did the exact opposite; You held me close, you reassured me that everything was going to be alright because you were there for me," she said, looking back at his eyes smiling a little, but also tears in her eyes.
"A lycan wouldn't pull me closer when I was hurting, because they would feel every single piece of the pain I had ... But you did pull me closer, you held me in your arms, you made me smile and laugh - If that isn't enough to tell that I love you, then I don't know what is," maybe it was a bit too sudden. Maybe she was moving a bit fast, but she just had to let him know. "I know your rumors, I know all of that shit and yet I don't really care - Not as long as you make me feel this way."

It really was just so hard for him to believe that he was worth enough. His parents had at least done nothing to ever make him feel really loved. Maybe his mother tried but it wasnt hard enough if you asked Kurtis. It wasnt real. But with Zaira everything just felt so real. From how they went crazy on the couch to the way they budded heads and never seemed to give up. She spoke of her nightmare and he listened, frowning as she explained. He could understand where her fear was coming from, fearing that he would hurt her even more when she was already wounded, because he would if he had gotten hurt in the process. But he just sat there, looking up at her as she spoke and he listened.
Then she spoke of the morning and how he had held her and he could still remember the pain he felt through his hands, her panic and fear. He couldnt just have pulled away and left her to it all alone. “Zaira...” he spoke, lifting his hand up to gently grab her chin, pushing himself up so they were face to face. “Yesterday when you left me, I went to find Vanessa. I was so fucking angry and hurt and I just wanted to feel nothing. And I knew I could just lose myself in whatever the fuck Vanessa would be feeling if we fucked. But before we could even start, I started thinking of you. Your sweet sounds, curves that I cant remove from my head....” he stopped himself before he would end up riling himself up. “I completely zoned out and I said your name. You were all I thought about in that moment and she fucking flipped. And still I was only just thinking of you.” He admitted. It was probably as close of a confession as it could get.

He grabbed her chin and she looked at him, wanting to listen to everything he said and as he explained what had happened with Vanessa she at first felt a little hurt. Not that she had any right to it, but then he disclosed what or rather who he had been thinking about. Her. She could feel her cheeks gain a little color as he listed what he had been thinking about her, but his confession was all she needed. He didn't have to say anything more than that, because she knew now that this was real. "I'm sorry I'm such a cockblock," she murmured, but she wasn't really. She had thought about him plenty as well, but she was perhaps just better at hiding it. "I guess I owe you now, huh?" she muttered, leaning down to kiss his nose, smiling a bit. She felt so giddy, and yet it was also rather scary. He was clearly not good with talking about feelings, but she knew he could feel hers.
"You don't have to confess anything or change anything to have my love; I care about you, Kurtis, so if you wanna try real dating then I'll be happy to be your first volunteer," she said, knowing it might be a big step for him as well. Gods, what would the rumors not say? But then again she had fought a group of girls before and she could do it again if it was for him. "I'm not asking for perfection or money or any of that shit; I just really want to hang out with you more and ... I don't know, kiss you whenever you act like an asshole," she muttered.

She apologized but he shook his head. “No you just reminded me of what I wanted.” He said as he looked at her. But the notion that she owed him did make a smirk creep up on his lips. His hand around her kept caressing her lower back and the other rested on her shoulder rather than keeping a grip on her chin. She assured him that he didnt have to change but to a certain point he couldnt believe it. Surely she wouldnt want to see him fool around with other girls. The notion of dating did however scare him a little too much to consider. Because opening up like that to the public, just meant that eventually his parents would know and.... he didnt dare to think if his dad wasnt going to do some shit to ruin it. “I’ve already said that you can kiss me whenever you’d like.” He said, before he ran his hand down to also wrap around her. “I’ll make it real fucking easy for the both of us. We talk. If we want to hang, then we hang. If we want to kiss, then we kiss. If we want to fuck, then we’ll do that, as long as any of it makes any fucking sense.” He said, shifting between her eyes before he leaned up to connect their lips again. “How does that sound?” He asked against her lips.

Honestly it felt a little too good to be true. She didn't really care if he didn't want a label, because as long as she could trust him then she didn't feel like she had anything to worry about. He wrapped his other arm around her and she looked at him as he spoke. What he said made her smile, leaning in to the kiss he used to finish up his suggestions with. "It sounds real good," she muttered softly in return, her eyes closed as she smiled. She kissed him again, her hand running up in to his hair, pulling him a little closer. "Do you wanna get out of here? Go do something?" She asked, because she knew how much he hated being home. She knew him, better than she really had realized. "We can go back to my place? My mom should've gone to work by now?" She suggested.
Now that she had come clean, she just felt like this weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. Sure, they were both still young and bound to make mistakes, but she had a feeling that it was going to turn out alright.

Her mutter made a smile spread on his lips as he looked up at her, his hands gently touching her in soft caresses. She connected their lips again and he sighed, digging his nails a little into the fabric of her shirt. He hummed at her suggestion, nuzzling his nose against her chin before moving his head down to her neck, kissing her skin softly. “Sure. Where ever you want to go.” He said as he just wanted to spend time with her. They soon left and went to hers.

Monday rolled around pretty fast after that and Jeremy was as always the first at the gate waiting. He stood a little uneasy tripping from foot to foot, looking around though he wasnt sure who he was so scared of. Or he did, but it was so complicated.

Mondays were just the worst, weren't they? She had gotten dressed rather reluctantly, leaning back in her seat as her mother for once wanted to drop her off. She saw Jeremy, smiling and waving as she got out of the car, bidding her mother a good day. "Yo, Jere, sorry bout the other night," she said, "I was just really freaked, and I just wanted to go home... did you spend some time with Abel?"

His face lit up as he saw Zaira, shaking his head as she apologized. “Dont worry, it’s all good. I was only worried about you.” He said. Her question made him smile as he made a small nod, “Yeah, he came by. It was nice to see him again, though I thought he would be spending more time with you now that you... youknow.” He said with a small shrug. He looked down the street and frowned a little before he grabbed Zaira’s hand. “Let’s go inside.” He said a little hasty before pulling at her. Inside he just seemed to grow more confused as he saw Kurtis standing by the lockers. Some girl was talking to him but he seemingly wasnt paying attention to her like at all. He instead noticed Jeremy and Zaira, smiling a little to himself before he went to them. “Since when did you decide to come to school on time?” Jeremy asked with a frown. Kurtis just rolled his eyes at him before grabbing Zaira’s hand, mumbling a half assed we gotta talk before pulling her with him. Jeremy then just stood alone, sighing to himself.

"Yeah," she shrugged at the notion about Abel. She felt shitty, but he had gone back to America and she was still here. Where they had headed before he left they couldn't really go back to, and she had made her mind up. She frowned as he grabbed her hand, not that she minded, but it was rather unlike him - he normally would just wrap his arm around hers or her shoulders, but this was alright too. Although it did make some people look at them a little weird.
Once inside she noticed Kurtis right away, and she had to agree with Jeremy on this one. Seeing him in school this early was actually a little strange, but he did still give her those butterflies in her stomach. He came up to them, and she chuckled at bit, but then he took her hand. She could swear she had never been nervous before, but now she were. He pulled her with him and she looked at Jeremy with an apologetic look.
He pulled her in to one of the empty classrooms, and she stood for a bit, not really knowing what was going on. "Is everything alright?" she asked. She had seen how he had been ignoring that girl before, and that was way out of character for him.

He kept watch. What did he think? That people would be stalking them? But then again, this school was notorious for its wild rumors. He kept holding her hand, and he assured her everything was fine, then why- Oh that was why. The kiss surprised her a bit, mostly because she had been worried that something was wrong, his addition making her scoff. "You're such an ass, Trevino," she muttered, but she couldn't really be too mad at him. Although they had decided to keep this whole seeing each other to themselves for now, she still really liked the fact that he was actually trying. "I promised Jeremy I'd study with him after school today, so unless you want to bore yourself to death with physics?" she suggested. Jeremy wouldn't mind if Kurtis was there, it would perhaps be a bit weird, but the lycan always did shit out of his usual stuff when he felt like it. Biting her lower lip she stepped a little closer to him, stepping up on her toes to press her lips to his before she had to go to class as the bell rang.
Getting in to class she saw Vanessa and her tribe of wannabe barbies standing around her. Zaira just went over to sit down, taking out her laptop as one of the girls appeared. "Well well well, if it isn't the Spanish whore," she chuckled, looking back over at Vanessa for validation before looking back at Zaira. "I heard you were busy with the whole football team this weekend; Jamie told me all about how you practically threw yourself at him in the pool," - "Awe, if that is how Jamie remembers it, then he had a bit too much to drink," she said rather unfazed. She didn't care about rumors or anything with regards to Jamie.

Her scoff and mutter was only amusing to him as he chuckled, "Never knew that you were an ass girl. Well you're lucky." he teased her. Her suggestion made him hum as he was playing with a bit of her hair. Sure physics wasnt the most interesting of topics but he was sure he wouldnt be bored. "I'll be there. At least we'll get to spend time together." he remarked. She stepped closer and he felt his breath halter for a second before she stepped up to kiss him. He returned the kiss and smiled against her lips. "Alright loser, have a nice day, I'll see you later." he said before they had part ways.

Vanessa was quite amused with how the girls were picking at Zaira, but she seemed a little too interested in tormenting the new girl. She whispered something to a girl that chuckled quite excitedly before nodding. They then went on as if nothing had happened, but as the girl passed Zaira, she pretended to fall before wacking her book off onto the floor. "Oops! Sorry, my bad. Guess you gotta scoop that off the floor. Like all the other leftovers you seem to like." she remarked with a tilt of her head and an evil smile.

He agreed to come hang out later, although she had a feeling that he might try and distract her from actually studying. But at least he was right in the fact that they got to spend time together. She felt almost giddy after that, although her mood was ruined as soon as the girls went after her. They were vicious, weren't they? One of the girls walked past her table and it culminated on Zaira's book laying on the floor. She got up, grabbing the book before standing up rather fast and hitting the girl under her chin. "Oops, I'm sorry, I guess I'm a klutz too," she said, playing innocent as she saw the girls riling up on her. Fuck those bitches. They were just jealous that they couldn't even stick to one guy at a time. "Now leave me the fuck alone, or I won't hesitate to slap you all into next week," she said, sitting down before class started.
She hated the fact that she could hear them whisper, because she knew they had nothing better to talk about than her. A guy next to her leaned in, "hey, is it true that you fucked a guy in Kelsey's bedroom?" he asked, but she just looked ahead. She didn't want to entertain their rumors. "Fucking hell, you sure act like a bitch."

The girl had not expected her to hit her back but she did whine in pain and held her own chin as she looked at Zaira with angry eyes. "Bitch you can try." she hissed but the teacher came and they had to dissolve. It didnt seem to stop as the guy leaned in and spoke, making all the girls chuckle and the teacher frown. "What's all this about?" he asked, one of the girls lifting her hand. "Go on Miss. Erickson." - "Oh it was just because of Miss. Rojas behaviour this weekend when she decided to entertain the whole football team." she said, fast enough for the teacher to not intervene, the whole class either laughing or shaking their head. "That's enough. I will not tolerate this in my class. Everyone who want to have any more picks at Miss. Rojas can take it up at the principal's office." he said which seemed to silence the whole class. A guy muttered an angry, "Of course, this bitch gets protection from the teacher."

This was bullshit, wasn't it? She was already making plans to go find Jamie and kick his ass when the bell rang, but would that be enough? "At least I wasn't trying to hook up with a guy who then called you by the wrong name, right Vanessa?" Zaira smiled sweetly, making some of the boys look in surprise as they started chuckling. The teacher asked them to stop, so she did. But she knew it was far from over.
Class continued pretty normally, but as it finished and she stepped out in the hallway she was met with Finn. His eye was blue and rather swollen. "Zaira, can we talk?" he pleaded, but she ignored him walking past him. It made a group of guys chuckle, one of them being Jamie, "Don't sweat it, Finny, she'll come around," he said making Zaira grit her teeth. "Oh, so this is how we are going to play; I wasn't handing out my pussy like any other girl, so instead you start making rumors about me, is it?" she asked, which really seemed to surprise the football player. She walked closer, and although she wasn't at tall as the group of guys, she sure was something to behold. "I'll gut you like a fucking fish if you don't clean up this mess of a rumor within the day; Do you understand me?" she asked, making the guys split up, clearly scared, but it seemed like Jamie took a hint and left.
Finn followed Zaira, eventually grabbing her arm and she felt that rush of fear. That moment when he had held her down, she was just back in that stupid bedroom. "If you don't let go I'm going to scream," she hissed, "Zaira, please, just lis-" but she turned around, fury in her eyes. "If you ever talk to me or touch me again, I want you to know that I'll ruin your life," and that sentiment made Finn back off, at least for now. She headed on to her physics class where she met with Jeremy outside. She was clearly distraught, but having a familiar face that she trusted did help a lot.

Vanessa's expression turned quite bitter at Zaira's remark, especially as some of the guy's started chuckling at it. She turned her nose up high and crossed her arms. Surely she'd find a way to make Zaira regret saying that. The teacher however wasnt letting anyone else say more about anyone for the rest of the class and it was soon over. She however wasnt going to let her pride be wounded like that. "I'll make you regret saying that." she warned the human on the way out.
And it was just then as people were changing classrooms that Vanessa wasted no time. Kurtis stood outside with a couple of people from the period that had finished as he saw Jeremy and Zaira speak. But just then, Vanessa appeared out of nowhere and fully went at it. "What the fuck are you telling people about us?" she demanded to know angrily, Kurtis frowning a little as he didnt understand. "It's no fucking wonder that you're hung up on a whore when you're the male version of one yourself!" she yelled, everyone turning their eyes to look at them. "Keep your fucking voice down." Kurtis then just said, before Vanessa turned now that she had everyone's attention. "No, Kurtis, I think they should all really know some truths about you too. Like the fact that you fucking forced me to have an abortion! How about that?" she just yelled, Kurtis widening his eyes for a bit before he frowned and looked around at everyone looking, but then he saw Jeremy and Zaira. He grit his teeth and eyed Vanessa shortly, because there was really not anything he could say?

Jeremy's day had gone fine, well except for the fact that he had been in the front row sitting right in front of the most talkative girls on the whole school who were spilling all sorts of rumors and things that they knew. He felt a little worried because it seemed that Zaira was the talk of the school, but not in a good light. So when class ended, he went to go look for her. He found her outside and noticed how distraught she looked. "Has something happened?" he asked a little worried. He was thinking about what he had heard in class, did it have anything to do with that? He could think all he wanted though and just then Vanessa's yell was heard by everyone.
