School Shenanigans [cw]

Zaira finally got a reply back from Jeremy, and she felt like she could breathe a little more easily now. Maybe she had worried too much, but her day at school seemed to go on almost normal. Well if you ignored the fact that people now had two things to buzz about and that the rumor about her and Kurtis were turning out to be facts.

[Messages between Jeremy and Zaira]
[Zaira:] Alright, just text me if you need me

She leaned back against her chair in the library, breathing out through her nose to calm herself. It was rather hot out today, and she just couldn't wait to go home and have a nice shower. Maybe if the doctor cleared her she would be able to get a dip in the pool as well, but she didn't want to set her expectations too high.

School felt so empty today, maybe because he had gotten in to a certain routine that had to do with the nephilim, and him not being there made it just so bland. He was sitting in his math class, solving a problem that seemed more tangible than the troubles in his life right now. He liked that about math that it always had an answer. Feeling his phone buzz he pulled it out of his pocket looking at it shortly, but he decided not to reply. No reply meant no chance to change his mind.

Damiano was standing in the shed, smoking a cigarette as he felt like the pack he had gotten from Kurtis this morning was being used up faster than usual. Pushing his long hair back, he looked up at the sky for few moments, but it seemed like even the sunshine did nothing for him today. It was just a hurdle, he told himself, he just needed to get back on track and try and distract himself. At some point there would be a new Jeremy, another guy that could fill his head and make him worry.
"De Angelis, what's going on with you?" one of the other smokers said approaching him. Damiano scoffed shaking his head, "just worked a lot yesterday and I feel like I'm behind of school work," he half lied. Even though Jeremy had hurt him, he was still respecting his privacy. "I got something that can make you feel better," he said, and at this point he felt strong enough to say no, but he knew he would cave eventually. "Nah, I don't have the money for it; But thanks anyways," he said but his friend just clicked his tongue, shaking his head a little before placing a small bag in the hybrid's hand. "You can always pay me back some other way," the guy winked and Damiano sighed, nodding as he put the small bag down with his cigarettes. Maybe just for a rainy day, right? "Alright, what do you want then?" he asked. At this point there weren't too many people in the shed, so they had to be mindful. "Five minutes in heaven," he said and Damiano scoffed but nodded, the guy walking closer before he kissed the hybrid.
Damiano wasn't really kissing back, it was just all about the guy wanting some sort of satisfaction and he could just block it out. The guy moved on, kissing him down his neck and the hybrid turned his head, staring out in to the shed as he felt hands touching him. This was just who he was, he told himself, a people pleaser and nothing but a fetish object.

As the guy was pulled off of him he did feel a bit better, but that was until he saw who had done it. The shame built up and his jaw tensed. The question made him scoff as he put out his cigarette against the metal wall. He could see Kurtis there as well, and with that he knew that Jeremy was still trying to keep himself in check. It hurt. And Damiano could feel every frustration and it was driving him mad. "You've come here to judge me? That's rather rich coming from you," he just said as the guy Jeremy was holding broke loose. It was clear he wasn't up for some lover's quarrel so he pushed past Kurtis before he left the shed. The other smokers seemed to clear out as well, because even though they lived for the gossip, they weren't getting caught both smoking and watching a fight break out.
"Despite what you've been raised with, the world doesn't revolve around you," he said, clearly defensive, but he kept an almost stoic face, not wanting to show just how out of his mind he felt. "Not all of us can afford to sleep in and show up at school without uniform, because life goes on even though you hurt," he said, packing his cigarettes away in his inner pocket where it would be safe. He looked to Kurtis shaking his head a little. He had hoped the lycan would be better than this, but hey he had been wrong before. "It's better this way and you'll get to live the life your parents have always dreamt of you living," he muttered to Jeremy, pushing himself off the wall as he stood face to face with the nephilim. "C'mon, hit the faggot already, he's already shown to be tossing himself around to anyone who bats an eye at him, right?" he egged him on.

Damiano could be hurtful. It was in him as the daemon part of him was always so easy to get a hold of. Being vile was literally in his blood, even if that wasn't what he wanted to be. But the further away he could push Jeremy, the better it would be for both of them. The nephilim clearly wanted to talk, but what was there to talk about? This wasn't just some funny game, and Jeremy had made that very clear. Was he really delusional to the point where he thought he could have the best of both worlds; Go and make out with Damiano and then head home and act like nothing happened in front of his parents? It hurt just to think about.
The teacher warning didn't scare Damiano, he had packed his shit away and didn't have class before next period. No talks. It stung a little, but was he really expecting the nephilim to actually fight for this? He did feel bad about Jeremy being sent to the principal's office, but there was really nothing he could do, so he headed right back to class, pretending like nothing had happened like he had done up until now.

Zaira had a free period up next, so she had texted Kurtis to see if he had one as well. She just needed to talk to him about everything with Jeremy. Perhaps the lycan could help?

[Zaira:] Meet me out in the botanic garden if you have a free period

She just wrote, keeping it simple, but it was better to be vague.

Heading down to the garden she didn't really know what mindset she was in. She felt both happy about her and Kurtis but also worried about Jeremy. She didn't wait for long, getting greeted by a soft pair of lips and teasing words that made her roll her eyes giving him a light push as he really did make her smile. "You could've done it more gracefully this morning," she sighed, but she honestly cared little about the rumors. She was just happy to see him, moving closer to him as she gave him another kiss. What they had done last night still so fresh in her memory, but she had to keep focus. "Have you talked to Jere?" she asked. She knew this was risky, but she felt like she had to tell Kurtis a bit of what had happened last night, so she did. Only omitting the whole ordeal with Damiano was tough, but hopefully Jeremy would find it in his heart to forgive her some day. "I'm worried about him ... He wasn't at the gate this morning and he texted me saying he wasn't coming, but now I hear he's at the principal," shaking her head as it all made so little sense in her mind. Had he gone to see Damiano? What was really going on?

Having Kurtis close seemed to help her calm down, how she wasn't sure, but perhaps it was just an effect the lycan had on her. He went on to describe what had went down, frowning at the notion of Jeremy catching Damiano in the act. That feeling she knew from when Kurtis had been with Vanessa, although she was way too proud to admit that. "What do you suggest we do? I tried talking to him but you're right about the spine thing," she said, feeling like it was a little hopeless. However whatever Kurtis had in mind could potentially help their friend, right? So in her head it was worth giving it a shot. "I mean we can't really do much seeing as you're grounded and I basically have to be back home on time every day for my doctor to check up on me," she argued, although she knew she had to be healing, she also felt like a bad friend.

Zaira looked at him, feeling his hands on her felt good as it gave her a reminder of the fact that they cared for one another. His suggestion however sounded risky, and she wasn't sure if it was going to work or not. "I know I'm good at lying but that doesn't mean I enjoy it," she muttered, breathing out as she placed her forehead against the lycan's chest. She just needed to think it all through, but he was right. "Alright," she said, pulling away from his chest to look up at him, "I just really hope it works." Her hands were slowly touching his upper arms and shoulders, as if she wanted to remember how they were right now.
"I really loved what we did last night," she had to tell him, because it had been so good. Even though what had followed was the big headache with Jeremy, but for now all they had to do was wait to fix that problem. So she wanted to focus on something nice as well, smiling as she looked down at his shirt, chuckling to herself. "And speaking of sneaking out makes me wish I could do that ... Maybe come visit you a night or something," she thought out loud. She hated this punishment he was going through, even though it couldn't be avoided.

Being this gentle with her on school grounds were definitely something new but rather welcoming. Closing her eyes as he kissed her forehead she smiled at his question, opening her eyes to look at him rather challengingly. "Maybe I am obsessed, mister Trevino, but you seem to get off on that fact," she said, sending him an innocent smile. Although both of them knew that she was far from innocent. His thumb moving over her lower lip made her open her mouth as she kept eye contact with him.
The notion of coming over to his place while he was grounded could be pretty risky. Even if his mother would let her in, it would be hard having alone time, right? But then again she wasn't too sure. "Of course I liked you showing off ... I don't think I've seen anyone that hard for me before," she said, whispering the last part before kissing his thumb. "So how about I come over Friday night? I mean neither of us are going to the party anyways," she said, shrugging. By Friday she would also have gotten an examination of her injuries and hopefully not be on too heavy pain meds.

"Well if that's the case I hope you keep to your promise and romance me up," she said, feeling his lips against hers and it was so tempting to just kiss him and demand he kissed her back. But she kept her cool, there was no use in rushing things, even though she felt eager. The garden was pretty much empty now that classes had started and she looked around for a little, making sure no-one was there. Pulling him with her in to a more secluded part of the garden she finally kissed him, pressing herself closer to him as she just had a hard time staying away. They had to be apart for a little while longer, but for now she just wanted to forget about everything.
"Mis dioses," she mumbled against his lips. She had spoken Spanish in front of Kurtis before, but never swearing like this because it felt good. He was actually turning her on quite a bit, but she knew she had to stifle herself a bit. "Poniéndome cachonda, culo," she muttered, pressing herself closer to him as she kissed him again, touching his hair and scalp.

Rolling her eyes at his words she shrugged, "maybe not enough." Of course it was just a tease, but she would like to know how far she could push him with this. He of course followed her happily, pressing her closer and she felt her heart go crazy. The best part was as his tongue was playing with her lips, almost begging her to do the same. And who could say no? Her tongue greeted his in a rather eager dance. It was hard being this starved for someone that you cared for and yet couldn't really have yet. Her kisses moved to his throat, kissing and sucking on his warm skin as she enjoyed the brief intimacy they could share. Her cheeks gaining a little color before she started hearing steps. At first she thought it was just her nervous self that was hearing things, but then she heard a full on class being taught just on the other side of the hedge they were makin out against. Covering her mouth she giggled, mostly because she wasn't trying to get caught, but this was a little exciting wasn't it? "C'mon," she muttered, untangling herself from him, albeit a little reluctantly. "I gotta be at practice soon anyways; and I think I wanna try on my cheerleading outfit even though it's just going to be for a little while," she said, holding his hand in her own as they walked. She could still feel her heart racing, but it would calm down eventually, or so she hoped.

His words made her scoff, "afraid I'll get tired of you?" she asked, sort of a weird fear for a guy like Kurtis who could feel her every emotions. Wasn't it clear how much she liked this sneaking off stuff? She was at least always the one encouraging it, right? He dropped her off at the locker rooms and she turned to look at him, a few of her squad passing by and noticing their cutesy gestures. His chuckle made shake her head, "you wish, Trevino." And with that she went in to the locker room.
Getting changed didn't strain her too badly anymore, even though she was still rather sore, most of her swelling was gone. Safe to say she felt more herself now that she could wear her uniform and be a part of the team again, even if it wasn't full on like before.

Damiano was passing by the shed as he noticed Kurtis stopping for a second as he watched the lycan. He didn't know what he knew, but asking questions sounded bad. "Did he get in to a lot of trouble?" he asked, clearly asking about Jeremy. Even though he seemed to have made up his mind about staying away, he still did care about the nephilim.
