School Shenanigans [cw]

The question made him smile as he looked at the hybrid. “I guess, kinda.” He just admitted with a shrug. It wasnt like he disliked Damiano, but it was something that was affecting Jeremy and Kurtis felt compelled to at least do something; even if it was just being unecessarily rude.
He just nodded as Damiano said he wouldnt let the rumors go that far. “Hm. You’d be the first to control a rumor. I’m kinda interested in seeing that.” He said with a shrug, not really convinced. He leaned his head back against the grid, looking at the hybrid as he placed one hand in his pocket, the other still holding his cigarette. “I’m not getting involved.” He said, pushing off as he flicked the rest of his cigarette away, walking over to leave but stopping in front of the hybrid as he shortly looked him up and down, not caring that he was quite a tad taller. “But for the both of you’s sake, at least talk it out. Tie the knot and move on. Or whatever.” He said, looking into his eyes for a bit before he walked off to head to his last class.

He very much doubted that there werent things that were left unsaid between the two guys but he wasnt here to question him, because Damiano was right - He didnt have to justify himself or his actions to the lycan at all. He was just going to head to class as Damiano asked him a question he hadnt quite expected. Being reminded of his father in such a subtle sense clearly made the lycan angry which Damiano would feel. But he turned his head and smiled, because it made him only respect him more. “You bastard.” He mumbled under his breath before he headed to class.

Kurtis was still in class by the time the messages rolled in, but they had been allowed to read in the library so he didnt have to sneak his phone under any tables. He checked the messages and smiled a bit. She was pretty good at this.

[Messages between Kurtis, Jeremy and Zaira]
[Kurtis:] Fine. I’ll sneak out and meet you there.
[Kurtis:] I ran into Damiano. Dont think he’ll be coming, so you’re free to come Jeremy.

He knew he was straight up lying to his best friend, but it felt like it was the only way. He slowly grinded his teeth in contemplation before he put his phone away and continued to read. Shortly after a teacher checked on him and told him that class was ending soon.

Hadnt he been such a good student, the punishment would have been harsher. He was warned that now he had to attend every class till summer seeing that he obviously hadnt been kept from school by sickness. They simply wouldnt tolerate that he just nitpicked days that he wanted to show up whenever and then out of uniform. He was sent him with a note to give his parents but he crumbled it and threw it out. They were getting a mail anyway, so he knew he would be scolded at some point today. He saw the messages at home as he was counting his hours.

[Jeremy:] If you guys are coming then I dont see the problem in him being there.
[Jeremy:] I’ll see if I’m allowed. Still awaiting the final punishment.

But as bad as the scolding was on the day, his parents eventually softened up when he put in the extra hard work and eventually he was allowed to go. He arrived at the party with a bottle for the host, placing it on the table with all the other gifts. It was already looking promising from where he stood in the entrance and he wasnt sure if that was a good or bad thing in his mind. He grabbed his phone and texted Kurtis but the lycan wasnt answering. So he turned to the group chat.

[Jeremy:] Alright, I’m here. Where are you guys?

“Hey, you’re Jeremy right?” Some guy asked, making the nephilim lift his eyes before he made an unsure nod. The guy just smiled and placed a hand on his own chest as he introduced himself. “I’m Riley. We have that extra english class together.” He said, before he nodded in a direction and grabbed the nephilim. “Let me show you the beer.”

This Riley guy seemed nice enough, only that Jeremy was a bit preoccupied with his thoughts rather than being interested in getting to know him. He checked his phone and sighed as he felt like he might be getting set up. They had found some beers and Riley had been nice enough to show Jeremy around with the places he knew of so far in this party. Where the toilets were, where people danced. Somehow this place was already beating Kelsey’s as the basement was filled to the brim with neon paint and lights that would make it show. People were painting each other and chuckling as they lit up under the blacklight. Though they werent there long before they got back up. Going back to the upstairs party, they sat down in a slightly more quiet area and talked. Jeremy tried to speak of school stuff but Riley wanted to know more about him. At some point, Jeremy had managed to get himself tipsy and feeling a bit more unsure on his feet. He felt wobbly as he got up to get another drink, so Riley was willing to help. “Calm down calm down, or you’ll trip over and hit the floor.” He chuckled, though it was a little odd that Jeremy had this much trouble from just being tipsy; Sure he hadnt really gotten super drunk before but that was still a couple of beers away.

Jeremy seemed to lose awareness pretty fast and wasnt even realizing as Damiano approached them that the hybrid had taken him from Riley. Of course the guy wasnt a little annoyed with losing the nephilim but he quickly seemed to move on after a bit. Outside, it felt better but Jeremy still didnt feel stable enough to stand on his own. He leaned up to Damiano, holding onto his arm as his knees felt like jittering jelly. “I think something was in my drink.” The nephilim said after a while of standing in the fresh air, looking up at the hybrid with a frown on his brow, though it was clear that he wasnt recognizing him yet. His sight felt a little blurry, but focusing only made him feel more disoriented.
“I’m pretty sure Damiano has roofied this poor dude.” Riley said as he came out with a couple of other guys. They were slowly circling around them, though Riley as always stayed in the back. He sent Damiano a wide smile for a second before his expression turned serious. “Why else would he be taking him out here when he clearly needs to go home?” To which the others seemed to agree. “Just hand him over to me. I’ll make sure he gets home safely.”

Riley shrugged. “If you were interested enough in a straight man, who knows what you’ll do?” He argued, tilting his head a little to the side. But his motive was quite clear and he wanted the nephilim, even if Damiano refused. But as he brought up the allegations, Riley frowned angrily and clenched his hands. “What the fuck do you know?” He asked a rhetoric, though it wasnt like he had a direct comeback.
Jeremy was still just standing in his own little haze, still leaned up against the hybrid. As Damiano spoke to him, he just did and feeling a couple of fingers down his throat wasnt exactly what he had been waiting for. Eventually he did throw up, it all mostly being beer and nothing else. He hadnt been able to eat all day so he seemingly also was drinking on an empty stomach. The guys backed off as the sight and smell of vomit, not really wanting to gag either so they left. But Riley remained, his arms crossed. “Well enjoy babysitting for the rest of the night. I’m frankly surprised he hasnt just passed out yet.” He said and with that he left. “I dont feel so good.” Jeremy said after a while, feeling his head clear up a little. It was shortwhiled though because he felt quite sure on his feet for like a minute and then he just tipped over and was gone.

It was nice not to hit the ground but Jeremy was out cold. At least while his body was dealing with the effects of whatever it was Riley had slipped him. He didnt really wake till he was splashed with water, groaning and kicking his feet a little as he was fighting it. He muttered something incoherently back and as Damiano grabbed his clothes it was clear that he wanted to resist but lacked the means to. He mumbled what seemed like a faint no over and over though there was really nothing else to do than that. He was weakened, only barely able to keep his head up as he sar there in the tub.

Being told to relax usually had the opposite effect on the nephilim but for now it was probably fine that he couldnt even really comprehend words. He was like a ragdoll for the most part, feeling himself be moved twisted and turned as the hybrid cleaned him. He felt the bed under him after a bit, just laying there before he eventually curled up a bit and got comfortable. It didnt really help that he could smell Damiano all over him in bed, it was a good mix for just falling asleep. His head was tilted in the direction of Damiano, his chest slowly heaving and sinking in a way that shouldnt be alarming, actually it was a pretty good sign that he was just asleep.

Jeremy didnt even really have dreams. He wasnt sure what it was but it wasnt like he would remember. It was like a recollection of everything that had happened, everything that had gone wrong and what he had just hoped to achieve? He at least slept calmly even if a thousand things were going on in his head. When he woke up, his head felt hammered and he wasnt sure how long he had been out for. He sat up carefully and placed a hand on his head, groaning a little displeased. He looked around for a clock but it had only been an hour since he had been put in bed, only that for him, he felt like he should still have been at the party and not here. But now here he was. Carefully he got up and realized he only had a towel around his waist. He used the wall for support as he looked for Damiano.

He heard the hybrid in the kitchen but he wasnt all too sure on his feet to just walk in there. It wasnt that he felt wobbly, but now that he was up and walking, he so clearly remembered how it had felt when he had been drugged. He didnt exactly remember all of it in detail but it was enough to make walking a little more frightening. The last thing he wanted was to end on the floor. He saw Damiano and looked a little relieved, following his lead back to the bedroom. He sat and grabbed the soft drink, taking a small sip, though he wasnt really that hungry. “I’m sorry.” He mumbled after a while, his throat feeling a little irritated from throwing up. “Thank you for getting me. And making sure nothing... bad would happen.”

Frankly it was scary to imagine what could have happened. But luckily it didnt so Jeremy didnt want to think too much about it. However he did notice how Damiano leaned away and it just made him frown as he reached out and placed a hand on his arm. “Please dont do that right now.” He pleaded. Did he find him disgusting now? Did he just feel obliged to help because he cared about him? Was he a burden to him? He said he was happy, but it just made Jeremy look sad. “You look the opposite of happy to me.” He argued, still keeping his hand on his arm. He really didnt want him to move away, because he didnt know what it meant. And the more he thought about it, the more it twisted and turned.
