Well isn't this an odd conglomerate?

He greeted his tongue with his own, moaning in delight as his high was still fogging up his mind. And if he had to be honest, this was too hot as well. However he finally pulled away, gasping for air, "alright, now we really do have to get ready," he sighed.
They finished up their shower and Romeo brushed his teeth and got dressed in to the suit he had bought earlier that day. Making sure his hair was sitting perfectly, he felt quite happy that the missing hair he had had was now finally growing in so you couldn't see it unless you knew where to look. The finishing touch was just adding a bit of perfume, wanting to smell nice now that he would be surrounded by vampyres. "Do I look presentable now?" He asked, turning around as he adjusted the necklace he had gotten. It matched very well with the ring he wore that signified his engagement to Eden.

Eden agreed, it was about time that they got ready. The vampyre followed and as soon as they were both prepared and dressed, Eden was in the middle of buttoning his cuffs. He looked the lycan up and down before he grinned softly. "You look great." he said, quite liking how well the necklace went with the ring. He moved over before he leaned in to give him a soft kiss, breaking off the kiss to take him in up close. "You'll definitely make an impression." he assured him. In a good way too. He grabbed his hand and held it gently in his. "Are you ready to go?" he asked. Otherwise he'd let him go, but if he was ready then it was best to get going. The sun was quite weak at this hour, so Eden wasnt as affected as he had been earlier.

It was clear Eden was happy, and that made Romeo happy in return. He felt his hand in his own, giving it a soft squeeze, lifting it to his lips and placed a kiss against the back of his hand. "As ready as I'll ever be," he admitted in a soft sigh, clearly a bit nervous as he just wanted this to go smoothly. Heading outside it was clear that Eden wasn't as affected as earlier. It wasn't pleasant for him, but at least more tolerable. They got in a car that was waiting for them, and Romeo slowly felt his nerves grow, "are you sure they are going to approve of me?" he asked, knowing he had probably asked that a million times over by now. But he just wanted to be liked by them. He wanted Eden's friends to not view him as some kid, but as the fiancé to the vampyre by his side.

Eden didnt feel nervous at all. But that was maybe because he knew what to expect. He could imagine that Romeo was a little more tense about the situation. The question was at least a good pointer. He chuckled and looked at the lycan. "Are you saying that I dont pick my friends well?" he asked with a soft chuckle. He was obviously teasing him. "If they dont, then it says more about them than you. I chose you. And it wont change no matter what they think. If they wouldnt approve. Which I really doubt. Because I know you and them. They'll love you." he assured him. When they arrived, it was at a finer restaurant, clearly high class. Eden grabbed his smokes and lit a cigarette, checking the time, "We're early." he told the lycan before he drew a soft drag.

Romeo nodded, feeling a bit relieved by Eden's words, but then again he wasn't sure that his nerves would ever end until he actually were face to face with said friends. As they arrived, he looked around, taking in the sight of the fancy restaurant, humming at Eden's remark. "I thought for sure we were going to be late," he smiled with a slight chuckle to his breath, looking at the vampyre as he stood there. Was there anything not perfect about him? At least Romeo couldn't put a finger on how well put together he looked. How handsome his face was in this lighting, the sky slightly purple above them as the sun was setting somewhere in the horizon. "You look absolutely stunning," he said, looking at him with rather dreamy eyes. It was crazy to think that they were still so in love after all this time that had passed. They should've been out of the honeymoon phase by now, right? Though it didn't seem like it would be slowing down anytime soon.

"Me too. But I guess we caught up pretty quick." he chuckled, exhaling the smoke as he felt quite content right now. He reached down to hold the lycan's hand, just to let him feel that he was there. He could tell that the lycan was looking at him a certain way and it made him chuckle softly as he got complimented. "So do you. So I guess this makes us the perfect match." he pointed out. He decided to tell him a bit about the different friends that were coming over. He even got out their pictures and showed the lycan. "Eden?" a female called accompanied by a male. Both of them were vampyres. Eden looked up and smiled, greeting them. Then he introduced Romeo, as his husband-to-be. "A lycan?" the female friend asked, though she didnt seem to mind that much. "Well, nice to meet you Romeo." she said, holding out her hand which her partner did too. He was silent, but when interacted with he drew handsigns. The other friends arrived and it seemed that everyone was having some kind of renunion, though a few of them had remained close in America which they mentioned. They moved inside and were shown to a pretty neat table in the middle.

The hand felt good, reassuring even, and it did help him relax a bit more. The vampyres that approached were all beautiful, and he wondered if that was just how every vampyre was. Though none of them could measure up to just how handsome that Eden was when Romeo compared them all. He greeted them all, being very polite and well mannered, smiling and trying his best to remember the different names. "It's very nice to meet you too," he said, greeting both the female and the male; They were Meghan and Stephen. The others' names he still needed to grasp fully, but this was a start, and he was sure Eden would help him along the way.
They were lead inside, sitting down at a rather big table, and it made Romeo wonder exactly how a vampyric dinner would play out. Him and Eden had indulged before, but never at a sit-down restaurant, so he was quite curious. "Now, we all know Eden to hide things very well from us, but I have to admit that him losing his otherwise eternal bachelor title was quite a shock," one of the males chuckled, his name was Alistair and had thick long hair that reached his shoulders, neatly slicked back and away from his face. Romeo chuckled, unsure of what to say, "I hope that isn't a bad thing," he said and Alistair shook his head no with a warm chuckle, "quite the contrary; immortality gets lonely for even the most independent vampyre."

Romeo was doing quite well if Eden had to say so. He was quite proud of him and how he was handling meeting all these new people. When they got inside and were sat down, it was like the conversation really begun. The remark from his friend made him scoff and he narrowed his eyes a little at it as he wasnt sure what to say to it. It wasnt like he could really say that it had been Laure who had kept him from marrying. "Frankly, Romeo was the one who came into my life and changed my mind about a lot of things I otherwise thought I never would've." he admitted before he smiled at the lycan. "One of them being marriage." he said, looking at Romeo with a softer look before he had to look away before he felt the urge to lean in and kiss him too badly. "How did you meet?" Meghan asked quite curiously, looking at Romeo as she was interested in hearing what he had to say.

Romeo chuckled, though from where he was positioned he wasn't sure how to really react. His immediate thoughts went to if they disliked the fact that Eden wasn't single anymore, though Alistair seemed to make it clear it wasn't so. Eden took over, speaking for a while, and it made him feel a bit proud. Did he really have that effect on him? He reached under the table, touching his hand gently with his fingers, just craving him close. He had never felt this dependent on someone before, so this was quite new for him as well. Meghan asked how they had met and it made Romeo chuckle, probably blushing a bit.
"Well it isn't some large romantic meet-cute moment," he admitted, looking down briefly as he wanted to phrase his words quite precisely. "We met through a work related party, and Eden sorta swept me away on a date that night," both of them had made advances of course, but it was the vampyre whom had decided to go to the art gallery. Frankly perhaps his first thought was just being brought to a cheap motel and have their desires unfold, but it had turned out quite differently. "And over the course of several more dates it felt clear - at least to me - that I couldn't just let him run off on me," he chuckled, turning his head to look at Eden. Did he have something to add?

They hadn't really talked about how they each had experienced their meeting. Romeo for some reason hadn't realized till later on that he had been swept away, but that had taken a lot to admit to himself. Hearing Eden's more reasonable reply made him chuckle, shrugging as he was probably a bit of a hopeless romantic. The comment from the friend made Alistair chuckle, I have invited you to live with me for centuries now - yet you refuse and I'm starting to think you enjoy being miserable and single," he teased, making the group chuckle. Romeo smiled, giving Eden's hand a squeeze beneath the table. This felt really good. To be able to talk about him and Eden, to express what they felt for one another openly.
"Well I for one am very happy for you, Eden, especially losing Loralei like this .. You deserve to have someone in your life who will be there for you," a female spoke up, her name Amara and she looked almost like an Amazonian goddess with tanned skin and striking brown eyes - not really what you would imagine a vampyre to look like. "Now, I will expect an invitation to the wedding," - "I second that," Alistair said, smiling as he looked around the table. They were quite a nicely sized group, and it had been a long time since they had all been gathered like this. Romeo looked to Eden, not sure what to reply, because they hadn't really discussed the topic of wedding because it made him feel stressed out. And most of all hurt. However he took the chance, speaking up about it, "we're not quite sure what wedding we're planning on right now," he admitted, looking down with a slight frown. There wasn't really a way around it, "my family doesn't approve .. so I've had to kind of manage my expectations on that front." He knew Eden wanted to give him whatever he wanted, but knowing that his family would never come to his wedding because of spite, he didn't want that day to be a reminder of how they had disowned him.
"Why don't you just elope then?" Amara said, smiling as she clearly wasn't hurt of the fact that there perhaps wouldn't be a grand wedding.

"There is a very specific reason for me to not accept your offer and it's your horrible taste in interior." the friend chuckled, everyone else finding it rather funny too. It was lighthearted humor, between friends that had seemingly known each other forever. Amara's comment about Laure made Eden unsure of what really to say, but at least the last bit reminded him that he had Romeo. Her expectation made him scoff, he hadnt really thought of inviting anyone since Romeo had said that he had wanted it to be just them. It was good that Romeo spoke up because Eden didnt want to say something that he wouldnt have agreed with. He squeezed his hand softly to let him know that he was here with him. Some of the vampyres seemed to recognize the disapproval of family while others clearly didnt. "The plan was to elope and have a small intimate ceremony. But we've still got time to think about what we want." Eden said before he looked at Romeo with a smile. "I dont really mind what we do, as long as I marry the man I love."

The rest of the evening went pretty well from there. The vampyres didnt seem to mind that a lycan had joined the circle and even less did they seem to mind that he was a newcomer. Old jokes that they made were explained and all sorts of stories exchanged. A few drinks went around and when they were finally done, it was quite late. Before they left, it was aired that they could be interested in coming around in Churchill where Eden seemed to live now. Though Eden and Romeo could discuss if they had the time and need for that later. When they got back to the hotel, Eden wouldnt mind if Romeo just needed some sleep. Frankly he was a little tired too from having been in the sun earlier.

Frankly the evening went quite well. Romeo found that the group of friends were actually a welcoming breath of fresh air, though as they returned to the hotel room, he had to admit defeat to his own tired body. Getting undressed he snuggled up to the man he loved, holding him close before drifting off to a peaceful sleep.
The next day they spent mostly just relaxing, seeing a bit of the city before they eventually had to get on a plane back home to Churchill. Romeo didn't mind flying, but he had to admit that flying with Eden was much more pleasant, and safe to say they did manage to both get tangled up in one another in the small cabin restroom. After landing Romeo went up to sleep off the jetlag, smiling as he was quite happy from their trip.
