Healing isn't always easy | Eden

Romeo looked to the girl on the couch. He could still hear her heart beating, so she wasn't dead. Not having someone who could easily clean up after them was troubleaome, but the lycan would do anything for his love. He could get rid of them fairly easy with his charm, but he worried more for the condition that Eden was in right now. "Eden .." he muttered, sitting down by his feet, pressing his face against the vampyre's legs as he started to shake. He couldn't lose him! He had just gotten him back and he just couldn't deal if he fell into a slumber once more. How was he supposed to get better if he couldn't even keep blood down? "I don't know what to do .. I'm scared," and he was. He was terrified. If Eden couldn't even keep the blood down, then all of this was for nothing. "Do you know anyone who might be able to help us?" He would've suggested the hospital, but Eden had made it clear he didn't want to be there. However at this rate wouldn't he just slip back into slumber again?

Get rid of the girls he did, though he was trying not to seem to affected around them. They even took their friend, surprised to see her neck, but they also knew that friend to be a bit wild. Romeo apologized to them and they left their number on a piece of paper. A paper he threw out the second the door was closed.
He felt his heart beating out of his chest as he came back into the livingroom. "They're gone," he promised, his voice shaking as he moved closer, touching the vampyre's skin. He wasn't sure what he was walking into and moving around he squatted down to look at the vampyre he loved so much, cupping his face. "My love .. can we please go back to the hospital?" he pleaded, so scared that he couldn't help him.

He would gladly confort him, moving closer so him and not even hesitating to let his vampyre touch him. He wanted to soothe him, take his pain away, and staying close seemed to help him. Shushing him softly he kissed the side of his head. He felt the cold lips against his neck, shivering softly as he thought it was just a cute kiss. Perhaps one to thank him?
However he soon felt the sharp pain in his neck, wanting to fight it, but all he could do was cry. Being bit reminded him of when he had almost lost him. And now the vampyre was willingly drinking from him!? He couldn't even do anything as the bite paralyzed him, tears just falling down his cheeks as he could do nothing while his love was drinking his deadly poison.

Romeo just cried, his grip on Eden becoming looser, feeling how the vampyre tried to soothe him, but he was too terrified to even feel that. This was it. Eden would drink his blood and he wouldn't get the help he needed. And he would die because of Romeo.
He was let go, the hand over the wound was warm, or was Romeo just cold there? He regained some of his movements after a bit, lucky that Eden's ability wasn't too long lasting on his lycan body. He sat up, his face full of tears as he looked at the love of his life. "E..Eden?" he pleaded, his voice broken as he reached up to touch his face. He couldn't have him leave him now! And yet, he could feel how relaxed the vampyre was, not to mention there wasn't any pain to be felt. He was confused, the apology making him shake his head. He didn't need to apologize. "Is .. Is it helping?" he asked confused. Lycan blood was poisonous to vampyres, wasn't it?

It was helping? He felt confused, and yet he wasn't angry with the vampyre. The question made him hum, the bite on his throat healing just fine, except for the scar he had left behind by Eden. When he had looked himself in the mirror, he had felt quite proud by looking at that mark. It was Eden's mark. "It doesn't hurt," he assured him, adjusting himself so he had a knee on each side of the vampyre's lap, leaning over him. "Drink some more .. if it helps I want you to," he said, leaning in to kiss his lips. Anything for the man he loved. Even if Eden started to protest, Romeo would just look at him with his fluid eyes, "if this helps then I want to help," he told him rather assured of his decision. He only wanted to lessen his pain in any which way he could.

Romeo hoped that eventually he would get used to the paralyzing bite. Perhaps learning to not be affected. But for now he didn't really have a choice. He closed his eyes as Eden bit down on his neck, sighing softly as he focused on how good it made his vampyre feel. He hadn't felt him without pain in so long, and this was actually rather healing for him. The soothing touches made him sigh, trying to find his voice in all of this. At least he could still speak somewhat. "I've fantasized about this," his whisper weak, but he wasn't in pain anymore. The bite didn't hurt as much now seeing as he had been prepared for it this time around. "That you could feed on me .. not need anyone else .. no donors, no vials .. just me," he felt a bit hazy from this, but it made him smile, a few rogue tears moving down his cheeks. "I'm yours."

"Do I taste good?" he asked, his eyes blinking a little slowly as Eden looked at him. The kiss he reciprocated, moaning softly at how good the vampyre felt. Sure, he wasn't completely back to normal, for one he felt weak but the other thing was the fact that he could drink his blood. It was strange. But Romeo actually liked the feeling because he could feel the effect on the man he loved. Eden moved his lips back and Romeo sighed softly, wishing he could do more, but this felt so good. "Eden," he moaned, his stomach doing summersaults as he felt quite turned on for some reason. Maybe because it felt so erotic. His fiancé drinking from his neck, needing him in a way that he hadn't felt before.
His hands moved up, resting against the vampyre's shoulder if he wasn't actively biting him. He liked how his blood warmed up the vampyre's lips. Though he had to admit he was starting to feel a bit lightheaded. "Babe," he muttered, feeling a little dizzy, closing his eyes. He didn't want him to stop, but perhaps it was better to just do a little at a time.

He tasted good to him. The butterflies inside him went crazy as he just smiled as Eden drank from him. He felt proud in that sense. This was something he had never even dreamed of happening for real and yet now it was. He was trying to behave, mostly because he didn't want to rile Eden up and risk him getting frustrated that they couldn't do much right now.
As the hand was placed over his bite he sighed softly in relief. Not that it had been painful, but it was draining his energy a bit. Plus most blood had left his head the second he started to feel turned on, rushing down to something that needed it more. His pants felt tight, but it wasn't too bad luckily. "Yeah, I'm fine," he smiled, looking at the vampyre he was still sitting on. It was clear from his eyes how happy he was and how proud he was that he had been able to help Eden in this way. He lifted his hands, cupping the vampyre's face, just stroking his cheekbones with his thumbs as he probably looked like a fool completely love stricken and spellbound. "How about you?" Of course he could feel his way to it, but he would much rather hear Eden say it.

Romeo felt very relieved. Sure, the vampyre was still exhausted, but he wasn't coughing up blood nor writhing in pain. It wasn't a perfect solution, but he felt the admittance hit deep. Probably deeper than Eden had expected. He just touched the love of his life's face gently, leaning in to connect their lips in a tender kiss that wasn't trying to strain him anymore than he had to. "I'm actually very happy," he admitted. What they had been through had been horrible, but this was a new chance for the both of them. It was the start of their family in that sense. "I wish I could have you right now," he scoffed softly, nuzzling their noses together, but it was also very clear that he wasn't considering following through with it. Eden needed his rest.
Sighing softly he had to sit for a bit to regain his strength. Romeo hadn't been drained of blood like this a lot, and last time he had almost died. At the back of his mind he did worry a slight bit, but for now the two of them could relax. "I'll help you clean up .. And I probably need to cover the bite up, just so it won't leak or anything," he said. He did however take a few moments just to kiss the vampyre more gently, just all over his face and lips, letting him feel how loved he was.
Eventually he did get up, cleaning off Eden and himself a bit, a nice patch to cover up the bitemarks. "I guess what I asked for came true, huh?" he muttered, finding it a bit ironic. He had wished for Eden to bite him on their wedding night. Sure, this wasn't their wedding night, but now it could actually happen. And it could mean something because they didn't have to be afraid. After everything was cleaned up, Romeo actually felt hungry. It wasn't a feeling he felt often these days, but he decided to go grab a plate of the dinner he had only eaten half of.

Romeo wasn't sure about eating and being touched yet, so he just ate out in the kitchen. Mostly because he had some particular rules in his head about how to eat the food. The doctors had suspected some OCD in that regard, but he hadn't wanted to get it checked out. One mental thing at a time, please. Once he had eaten, he cleaned up the dish before putting it in the dishwasher. He joined the vampyre soon after, sitting down on the couch next to him, resting his head against his shoulder. He felt tired and perhaps a little drained, but it was to expected with the blood loss.
"Do you want to go to bed with me?" he asked softly, feeling his eyes grow heavy the longer he sat there leaned against the vampyre. Just feeling that he wasn't in pain making him relax and maybe he could get some rest himself. "I can help you move, it's no problem," he promised if the vampyre suddenly worried about getting up. Romeo at least took to his feet, reaching his hands down if Eden had agreed to join.

Romeo led the way into their new bedroom. It wasn't really anything special, just a bed with a good mattress as he had asked his mother not to decorate. He wanted them to make the home, not someone else. He watched as Eden stripped, but Romeo was more hesitant. He still wasn't too comfortable in his own skin, so he opted to put on a loose shirt to sleep, only changing with his back to the vampyre. He knew it was probably strange, but he had to do what felt most comfortable. Once he was out of his pants and socks he heard the small complaint, scoffing. "You nearly died and you're complaining about cigarettes," he had to roll his eyes.
Moving over on the bed, he would help Eden, even if he was stubborn. "You'l let me undress you plenty of time already, my love," he reminded him. There wasn't any shame here. Romeo had been in that weak state too, and it was about time he returned the favor. He got into bed, laying on the side that wasn't patched up. He felt rather tired, but he wanted to at least wait with falling asleep until the vampyre was safely in his arms. "This wasn't really how I imagined us spending the first night in our new home," he joked softly, knowing that it hurt a bit to admit. "But we'll have to make up for it once you're all better," kissing his forehead gently.

Romeo knew it was different, but alas there wasn't much other he could do. If Eden kept this mood up he wasn't sure how he was going to stay positive himself. He felt grateful. Sure, the circumstances were far from ideal. But the important part was that they still had each other, right? He wrapped his arms around his love, pulling himself closer, finding comfort in his touch, but he could almost hear the cogs turning in the vampyre's head.
"Tell me what you are pondering," he said softly, tired but wanting to talk this through. He knew there was a lot to unpack with all of this, and it wasn't like Romeo could just forget that. No, he had suffered at the hands of the offspring that Eden had helped create. But the vampyre hadn't been there to guide them, and now he could think of nothing but the fact that they were misguided. "I don't like it when you get this silent around me .. confide in me," he said in a soft plea. Honesty, right? Honesty and transparency.
