Standing outside he was smoking his cigarette, leaning a shoulder against the wall as his other hand fiddled with his lighter. He couldnt look more restless could he? And just then, he was joined by the last person he actually wanted to see in this moment. “No,” he just replied, turning the grinding wheel on the lighter without releasing the gas so it wouldnt turn on.
The remark made him shrug, “You’ve never liked it, so what had changed?” He asked but clearly didnt care for the answer. He just kept looking at his lighter, some strands of hair having fallen down onto his forehead as he stood there. But it was like the mention of Frankie just made him freeze for a moment as his finger stopped turning the grinding wheel. “She has a name and you better fucking use it,” he slightly hissed, turning himself so his back was fully up against the wall, drawing in a deep drag of his cigarette. “You know I’m in a shitty mood. Why are you talking to me right now? Hoping to start a fight? Make Eliza angry at me?” He said, looking over at Thomaz. He was genuinely curious, because if the human kept pushing his buttons, it could happen.

Grinding his teeth as Thomaz spoke, he kept reminding himself that lashing out now would only piss off everyone. He exhaled the smoke through his nose, as if he was was actually just fuming with anger. The apathetic words made Deacon scoff because he didnt really believe that this was the way to do it. Toy with Frankie’s feelings just to see if that would change anything? It took everything in the mythical to not just punch his old friend right in the face, preferably on the mouth than anywhere else. He looked away as Thomaz said he had made Eliza unhappy. It wasnt like he had meant to. It was just the old times taking over, even if neither of them felt that way. “You’re really talking out of your ass,” he mumbled before he grabbed onto one of the straps on the human’s tanktop, a bit of the shirt too for a better grip. But then a voice interfered and the timing couldnt be worse.

“Who says she wants to be with a sleazebag like you? Or the turd next to you now that we’re talking?” A feminine voice called out. Mickey approached them with the same cold attitude as always, tugging some hair behind her ear, before she forced a smile. It wasnt a nice or welcoming one, it was more mockery. “Let go Deacon, it’s not like she’d notice you more if you punch him now anyways,” she just said in a tired tone, stomping on her cigarette before she went inside, looking for Frankie as the first thing on her to-do list. Frankie and then locating the alcohol. When she found her she couldnt help herself, wrapping her arms close around the fenix and giggling happily. “Arent you a sight for sore eyes?” She asked, nuzzling her head against the bald head of her friend, not caring if she was drawing attention.

“At least I’ve got friends,” he just muttered back in anger, feeling somewhat relieved that Mickey had arrived but the hybrid was also so chaotic that anything could really happen now. He just sent Thomaz a glare at his words, feeling the shove but remaining still. He took a few minutes to calm himself down before he decided that staying any longer would just make the night even worse. He headed back inside and went looking for Eliza.

“Oh yeah? You’re already drunk outta your mind! All without me!” The hybrid whined but chuckled, pulling a sad expression that couldnt last. Frankie really was the only person that could make her feel some actual form of happiness in her dreadful living. She followed the pull, not really minding getting away from all the action for now. Especially as Frankie confessed, but Mickey wasnt too sure what she was confessing. “What did you do?” She asked with a furrow of her brows because she worried. Maybe it was good that she had come now if that guy had intended on taking the fenix somewhere if she hadnt. Who was he anyway and why was Deacon pissed at him? Mickey was trying to piece everything together. And then it clicked, how Deacon had held onto the stranger who had implied they could share Frankie, which was the only part Mickey heard of the whole conversation. “You’ve slept with Deacon?” She just blurted out, making a few heads turn but Mickey didnt know any of them so she didnt really care.

“Come on, you should know guys by now. If there’s one thing that’ll really tick them off then it’s watching another guy getting what they wont?” She explained quite condescendingly in tone towards men with her head tilted and a soft expression. “And dont worry about the apartment. You can come live in my apartment,” she said like it wasnt that big of a deal.
Sighing she looked out on the people around them. Seeing the guy Deacon had been grabbing outside, she lifted her hand. “Hey sleazebag! Yeah you! Curly McCurls from outside!” She yelled, not caring if she drew the attention of everyone else too. She even waved at him and motioned for him to come over. “I’ll help you, but it better be because you really think he’s any good for you. Otherwise I’m gutting him dead,” she said in a hushed tone, smiling at the human like she hadnt just insulted him. If he at least had decided to come over. Hopefully his curiosity couldnt keep him away from what Mickey had to ask.

“Hmpf,” Mickey just replied before he seemed to catch on how Frankie was feeling. She looked at Frankie rather than make any rash reply, though it would have been typical Mickey. She could say what she had heard him ask Deacon but on the other hand, how would that help the fenix now? “I dunno, I feel like I’d be thirdwheeling. I’d rather go step on some toes,” she said, sending Frankie a sly smile. It was clear that she meant Deacon in this case.

Bumping into Kaden, Deacon knew there was no backing out of this party just yet. But he was still so angry from talking to Thomaz that he was visibly grinding his teeth. “It’s a really bad time to catch up right now,” he tried, but the lycan was almost more stubborn than he was. Sighing deeply he ran a hand through his hair and just nodded. “Fine, I’ll stay for a bit longer. But I’m in a real bad mood, so you’re warned,” he said as he sat down with a sigh and looked at the lycan, gesturing to whether he was happy or not now.

Mickey wasted no time on looking for Deacon and soon she spotted him with a tall blonde guy. The pink outfit was quite the statement but Mickey sort of liked it in the way she could. “Hmmm,” she hummed at the guy’s question, sending Deacon a sly smile that really just came off as warm; But Mickey never smiled at the mythical with good intentions. Sitting down she puckered her lips in a thinking expression before she shrugged. “Sure. My friend left with this really pretty guy, so I’m all by myself now,” she just said, pushing her lower lip forward as if she was sad. She tapped the table with her index, looking at the lycan. “I like the fit,” she said. Awfully chipper for Deacon to notice; something was going on and she couldnt hold back. She noticed the mythical get up and sighed. “No need to leave Deac. She left a long time ago,” she lied, before she looked back at the lycan.

The lycan was somehow always a joy to be around and Deacon felt a little huilty that he wasnt in a better mood. But it was like everytime he got even close to getting a better mood, something came around to ruin it. Like Mickey’s appearance again. She was like a pest that just wouldnt go away wasnt she? He felt like he should have warned Kaden, but he also wanted the lycan to fully understand the hybrid’s level of crazy. But she wasnt acting crazy, she was actually being... normal? She mentioned her friend and Deacon knew at her smile what friend, and possibly the guy she had left with. He sat for a moment but then got up only to be told that she was already gone. He just looked hurt as he fell back down in the couch, slouching down a little as he grabbed his phone.

[Deacon:] Dont tell me you left with Thomaz.
[Deacon:] Anyone. Just not him.
