The Aftermath of Love and Betrayal

In a way it didn't feel fair that Eden could calm down so easily. Romeo was still stuck in limbo where nothing seemed real and Eden was over here doing all of the things without needing to breathe. However he liked the fact that he gave him time. The way he was held, how he spoke in to his hair and caressed him was all he ever really needed. "I've missed you too," he admitted, his breath still shaky as he looked at Eden's face, just studying it like he hadn't done that in forever.
They just laid there, holding one another as Romeo felt his heart return to normal. He felt a little sticky, but the vampyre never seemed to mind. "Sorry about the linen," he muttered as he seemed to realise just how hard he had pulled at it. Surely it must've been expensive, but then again Eden didn't seem to care. "What are you doing this Solstice?" He asked all of a sudden. Maybe it was rash, but he wanted to know, it only being a few months away.

Eden asked and he wanted to reply, but as the vampyre teased him he couldn't help but chuckle. "Well, I usually go skiing with my friends back home," yeah, it was strange to think that he actually had friends when he hadn't really made an effort here in Churchill. Perhaps because Eden was enough of a distraction. "My mother owns a nice hut in the northern part of Italy ... She bought it for me when I was old enough to ski myself, and I was wondering if we could go there?" He asked. He knew he would have most of solstice and new years off anyways, so when was a better time to travel? "I know it's a bit of a way to travel just to go skiing, but trust me, it's really good," not knowing why he was defending it so much.
"That trip outside of Churchill made me feel like we were a real couple, I mean we are, but it's all so complicated here in the city," he said. It was clear he was trying to sell something that had perhaps already been bought, but he felt very passionate about it. "Just the two of us ... Skiing during the day ... Making love by the fireplace at night," he whispered, kissing Eden's lips gently.

"The last two weeks of the year," he said that would give them enough time to travel there and come back as well. And it wouldn't interfere with usual business hours. "I'm going there a few days before that, just to catch up with my mother and grandparents, " he explained. He would probably also have to see some friends, just so they would stop pestering him all the time. "But we can travel back to Churchill together if you want to," he smiled.
Touching the vampyre's hair he sighed to himself. "I'm so sorry ... I really feel like I need a shower, but I don't want to move" he said. It was getting pretty late too. At least he could excuse himself to his uncle by telling him he had went home with a woman or something of the likes.

Maybe it would be, maybe it wouldn't. He didn't really know the answer right now. A lot of people traveled during the holidays, so it wasn't really too weird. Though he would have to think about the possibilities later.
Eden left him for a short while and he just looked up at the ceiling. His body felt so nice and relaxed, even if his entrance was a bit sore. The vampyre soon returned, picking him up, and he couldn't help but chuckle. Though at this point he didn't really trust his own legs, so maybe this was for the better. Before being placed in the water he dried off his chest a bit, just getting the worst of their mixed seed off. A sigh sprung from his lips as he felt himself get surrounded by the warm water. It just felt good. Eden joined him soon after, pulling him in, and he leaned his head back, resting it on the vampyre's shoulder. He washed his arms slightly, moving his hands under water to just stroke the vampyre's legs on either side of him. "I've been slacking a bit, but I'm catching up to it, " he confessed, closing his eyes shortly. He told how his uncle had started to ask questions about Eden and how the young lycan had to lie and say he was homesick. He also told Eden what his uncle had said about Kurtis. "My uncle would never kill his flesh and blood ... so it's not murder,' he pondered. Maybe he would write Kurtis out of his will? Or.perhaps something in that regard? He honestly didn't want to think about it.
"Either way, the next couple of weeks are going to be busy for me," he said, opening his eyes to look up at Eden. "I have exams before I leave for Italy, and I need to get ahead if I don't want to spend solstice with my nose stuck in a book," that was just putting it plainly. Romeo liked to be ahead, and he liked reading books that related to the topic he was already learning about. "Though maybe we are in luck ... My last semester I have to write my thesis, and I want to write about law and conduct regarding financial decisions, " he said, smiling as he looked at Eden. "Of course I've already begun, but I might need to set up a lot of meetings with experts in their fields," he said.

The suggestion to come study here made him chuckle, "are you implying that I don't already find you distracting enough?" He muttered, closing his eyes as he felt Eden wash away whatever bodily fluids that were on his skin. Breathing out in a sigh, "I would actually really like that ... my uncle's mansion is so noisy with his wife always luring around the corner." It was clear he had considered finding another place to study, but where had been the question. He did however like the thought of just being here, surrounded by a new environment had a tendency to inspire new thoughts. "I would like to consider your offer," he finally said, not saying no, but not saying yes either. He wanted to weigh out his options, even if this one was rather tempting.
"I have a few in mind, some have already agreed to let me come follow them for a few days and interview them," he muttered. Turning his head he looked at Eden, "but I won't ask you; I don't want to be reminded of school work when we are together," he said. It was clear he needed to set some kind of barrier there. "But I could use you for another important thing during my final semester," he went on, touching along Eden's thigh, "I want you to take me away from my studies when I get frustrated ... I want you to ground me and bring me back to reality."

"I won't lose my mind," he argued, feeling tingles in his stomach just being called his boyfriend. "I might forget to eat or sleep," he chuckled, shaking his head as he closed his eyes. Last time he had to turn in a giant assignment he had lived strictly off coffee and determination. He had suffered the week after, but he had come in top of his class, which was always what he strived for. Be better. Be perfect.
The news about Eden's new role made him frown, turning around in the bath, sitting in his lap instead just to look at him. "Is it because you don't want to ... or because you don't want to insult me?" He asked, rather genuinely as he started washing off Eden as well. He was a vampyre, so there wasn't much to clean, but it was a nice excuse to feel him up. His hands ran down his chest in calm motions, looking at the never changing skin. Well one thing had changed. The R on his shoulder just there for him to see. It felt so good and he couldn't describe why. "It would be a perfect excuse for me to come over here and study ... killing two birds with one stone so to speak," he muttered, though he was not going to pressure him. Private and work life was best if separated.

He sighed. Eden was right. It was all so intermingled already. He got pulled closer, and leaning down he connected their lips tenderly. "Then don't take him as a client," he said. It was as simple as that. If Eden was worried, then Romeo could come up with another excuse to come see him more often. "Alright, I think that's enough talk about school and work," he said. They could probably go on forever talking about it, and it wasn't why they were here together. "I'd much rather talk about..." he said leaning in, kissing the vampyre along the jaw, "how sore I feel from my boyfriend filling me up over ... and over ... and over." Kissing him along the jaw until he reached his chin, moving his kisses up to the cold lips. "How sad I am that I can't stay here and sleep," he muttered. He had already stayed out late, and he needed to head back. "And how ..." he hummed, licking Eden's lips gently, "I can't help but think of our first bath when I sit like this."

"Oh you have satisfied me plenty," he muttered against the index finger, smiling at him as he licked the finger gently, "but I fear I'll always long for you no matter how satisfied you make me." It was true, or at least Romeo believed it so. He moved his hand up, holding Eden's wrist in a light grip. His eyes focused on his fingers, kissing them one by one, just letting every part of him feel how loved he was.
"It's always rather amusing to me how your skin changes temperature when you are surrounded by heat," he said, his eyes grazing up to look at the vampyre's face.

It was quite interesting hearing about this, cause it wasn't something he had been taught before. And what better teacher than a vampyre himself? He looked at Eden as he returned the question. "We can ... but it's usually associated with our last days, or being so sick that our bodies try and conserve our heat," he said. Maybe that wasn't such a nice thing to talk about. "I can feel when it's cold out ... but I wouldn't really need a jacket either way," he explained. He mostly wore outerwear for fashion sake. He chuckled, "Do you want to kiss me? You keep looking at my lips," he teased, though he wouldn't mind.

"Overheat?" He repeated before he shrugged, "I don't know, haven't heard about a lycan overheating." Looking at Eden as he was right now it was hard to imagine that this bachelor now officially was his boyfriend. "You are showing great restraints then," he chuckled, adjusting his seating a little, moving closer to his chest, kissing it in a few sporadic pecks. "I on the other hand intend to take advantage of you being this close to me right now," he muttered against his skin.

The way Eden teased him felt good and light hearted, even thought Romeo was a bit self conscious about his blushing cheeks. He hadn't really done that before Eden had entered the picture. Maybe it was because the vampyre didn't produce any heat so his body felt the need to overproduce it?
Tending to his chest he felt so giddy. Sex was one thing, but just being close to Eden was good. The way they could just talk about anything made him feel secure. Feel that safety he had longed for. The vampyre urged him on, and Romeo chuckled, "tell me about your biggest dream," he whispered, just letting his hands explore below the water, feeling Eden's hips and stomach, caressing his lower abdomen and continuing the kisses.

Romeo chuckled, "tell me about it," he urged him. Then as he looked down, he saw the water turning red, "Eden," he whispered in a worried tone, moving off of him, seeing what was going on. He noticed the patch barely hanging on for dear life, and he felt his heart beat faster. The wound. It looked gnarly and in bad shape. "I think we gotta get out," he said, getting out of the bath grabbing a towel he wrapped it around himself, reaching a hand out to help Eden out too. He felt scared. Seeing Eden actively bleed was scary. "Do you have a doctor we can call? Or is someone on your staff better?" He asked scared.
