She told him to go and moved out of his arms. He just sighed and let her, because that was in the end what he wanted right? He got up and draw in a short breath like he was considering saying something but in the end he just left her. Maybe he would come to regret that but knowing Samuel, his pride would never allow him to feel any sort of regret.

It was a servant that came to check on her, seeing her picking out clothes, seeing the healed leg. The servant pouted slightly. “So you’ve healed.” She said with a saddened expression, fiddling a bit with her own fingers. This was not what any of the servants wanted, for her to go. “He’s gone for the day, so I guess now is the best time to get ready to leave as well.” She remarked with a deep sigh.

The servant entered and Raven swore she would never get used to having that feeling of someone being there all the time. The sad expression took her a bit by surprise, hearing that Samuel was out was a good thing, right? Nodding she got dressed, tying her hair up and away from her face. "Yeah, it's best," she agreed, wrapping her arms up with the gauze. It would at least stop people from staring at her when she was heading out of Northern. "Do you know if you have my necklace?" she asked, her neck had felt so bare, and now all she wanted was to feel some sort of familiar feeling around her neck. She wanted to be reminded of her family, those she could trust.

It was bittersweet. At least if you asked any of the servants. Her question made the servant frown a little thoughtfully, shaking her head before she seemed to realize. “Maybe in his office.” She said, nodding for the human to follow. They shouldnt be going there without Samuel knowing, but he wouldnt know. The staff was discreet and if he ever were to question where the necklace had gone, had it been wrong for Raven to have found it herself? The necklace was on the table along with different stacks of papers, some about the leak, other about captured kids. All in all was there a lot of information, much of whar Raven had been looking for when she had disguised herself and gone to the party as an escort.

Raven followed, actually having a look around at the mansion. Everything seemed so clean and expensive, and she was a bit afraid on breathing on anything wrong. She was taken in to his office, seeing her necklace on the desk she went to it, picking it up and holding it in her hand. Feeling almost relieved at the feeling of it in her possession once more. But then her eyes wandered, the papers on the desk, the files with the kids, and she just felt frozen in place. Looking at it she just felt her stomach churn as if she was going to throw up. Reaching out she leaned on the desk, gasping softly for air as she felt dizzy again. "Why do you work for a man like him?" she had to know. He was cruel, wasn't he? Supervising this leak, letting all those kids suffer.

She went and got her necklace and the servant stood in the door watching. She saw how Raven looked at the papers, shaking her head as the human was clearly affected by what she saw. “Why do I work for the man who gave me a new chance at life?” She asked, tilting her head, but then she shook her head and sighed. “It’s best if you’ll be on your way now. It’s what you wanted right? To be away from him?” She asked, fiddling with her fingers again, like some nervous tick she couldnt get over.

He had given her a new chance at life? She couldn't understand. This man must've been a lunatic, picking out people to save and others to sacrifice. What made him so qualified to make these decisions? Looking at the papers she tried to memorize as much as she could, but it wasn't helping that she felt so sick just from looking at them. The servant asked her and she straightened her back, "why are you so invested?" she asked. It didn't make any sense, it was as she was brainwashed or something. She worked for this guy, but she seemed to care a great deal about Raven being here. "Don't play dumb with me, why does all of the staff care so much about whether I stay here or not? It's not like I was all that nice to you when I first got here," it just wasn't adding up.

The question made the servant frown slightly, unsure how to answer it without offending the girl. “You just change the energy in this house. I dont know how to explain it. It’s just… nice to be in.” She tried to explain. But was it because the human reminded them all of someone they had lost? “You shouldnt worry yourself with it, it will be a thing of the past soon.” She dismissed her with a nervous smile, holding back on something quite clearly. “Come on now, I’ll get you some food before you’ll go.”

Wasn't it normally nice here? What the servant said made her feel like she had more questions now than answers. Taking a look again at the papers she didn't dare take them. Samuel would notice and the servant wouldn't be safe from interrogation, she was sure of it. A thing of the past. What a fitting way to say it. She however followed the servant out, placing her necklace around her neck where it belonged.
Down in the kitchen the servants there stopped as she came in. It was weird. Why were they so hung up on her? "I'll take the food to go," she said, a servant having to look down and Raven swore she saw tears in his eyes. She swallowed, looking down too as she took a deep breath, "you've all taken so great care of me and I wish there was something I could do to repay you." Was she getting upset now too? But getting out of here had been everything she had wanted since getting in! "I'm sorry if I've been a burden, I know a lot of you have worried for me, but I'm all healed now thanks to your efforts," she said rather genuinely.

The female servant was right behind her as they got in the kitchen, noticing how the other servants stopped. It seemed that everyone was affected by her leaving. Even more when she said she wanted to take the food to go. That would mean she would leave really soon. She began thanking them and the female shook her head. “It’s our job to serve.” She reminded her, walking over to the fridge, opening it and ordering someone to fetch a basket. “Where will you go?” She asked, looking at Raven. “Back to the Blocks?” She asked. It seemed that they heard most what was said in the mansion, even when it seemingly only had to have been between two in private.

"I need to get back to my family; They need me and there are so many kids that I need to take care of," she said, looking down she felt like she had neglected them by being here. She had been healing, but it didn't feel like a good enough excuse. "They need my protection, my strength ... I can't just leave that behind," she said rather calmly, trying not to get swept up by all the emotion in the kitchen. Raven felt like she had been here too long already. Victor was probably losing his mind and poor Brock had perhaps tried to do something stupid on her behalf to appear stronger than he was. And poor Dove? Oh she would be holding her close for a long time, that was for sure. "I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you, but if you ever need anything I'm sure your master might be able to track me down," it was a big promise to make, but she trusted they wouldn't take advantage of her.
Taking the basket as it was handed to her she looked in to it, surprised to see all the food. She had already decided she wouldn't be having any of this. No, it would be all the kids who got a taste of something good. She got out in to the great hall heading for the door as she felt eyes on her. Turning around she saw the staff lined up to bid her farewell and she was very touched by it. It was a shame that they had such a horrible man as their boss, but she could forgive them as they all seemed like good people.
