Raven smiled at his promise, touching his hand gently, though they couldn't linger, "see you then." Getting up to stand she went towards the room, looking back she saw Victor had already left, smiling to herself before she had to put on a more serious face. The jewelry feeling cold against her skin, but it was a good feeling. It reminded her of Victor. Opening the door she looked at the two on the floor and then to Dove, "why don't you go make something to eat for us before the shop opens?" The poor girl was shy, but she did follow orders very nicely.
Once Dove had left she looked at Brock and the newcomer. "Alright you two, get off the floor or I'll pull you from one another," she said. One warning. That was all they got. She didn't have the best patience and Brock if anyone knew that. How many times had she not had to throw him out in a pile of snow for him to calm down and stop yelling? And yet she was willing to give many chances to redeem themselves.

Dove and Brock behaved as they should, but it was clear the newcomer wasn't understanding their rules. At Brock's plea, Raven nodded, stepping forward, grabbing the girl's arm, pulling her off of Brock. "Go help Dove," she told him, waiting for him to leave before turning to face the angry girl that was with her. "Now you are going to listen, and you are going to listen well, cause I'm only telling you this once," Raven was tough, she was hard because she had to be, but she was also willing to give her love to those she cared for. She would talk even if the girl wouldn't listen, "here we are family, we fight and we yell at each other, but we also care for one another - what you just did crossed the line; I told you to stop and you didn't." Of course Raven wasn't going to be unfair to her, she was willing to give her a chance. "I know Brock is not easy to get along with, but you need to trust that he wants what is best for you and for this little family you have landed in: Are you going to behave or are you going to keep fighting the people who have taken you in, fed you and let you sleep in their beds?"
