She accepted the help for now, but was a little surprised that he wasnt trying to argue with her. Though it was always like this with him. And she would always forget how kind he really was to her. Like some mean circle. His mutter made her grit her teeth, trying to find balance herself and for that it just felt like he was in her way now. "I can stand perfectly on my own." she argued, her legs shaking but she could barely feel them so how would she know?

"Yeah and I'm sure that you could run a marathon right now," he rolled his eyes, grabbing around her to remove her clothing. He had seen her naked more than once, so to him it really meant nothing. Today seemed like a day where he got to see a lot of naked people, which was odd, but here he was anyways. He helped Mickey down in to the tub, assisting her with her hair. Swallowing a yawn, he carefully untangled her long black locks with his fingers before moving on to a hairbrush. "I'm sorry," he just said. He was always the one to apologize first, and he doubted that would ever change. "Once you're clean, I want you to stay over and sleep," he rarely made demands, but when he did it was out of care for the one he was tending to. He was too selfless for his own good, something that he knew would hurt him down the line.

She wanted to get back at him for his remark but instead she swallowed a gulp that could've turned into more. She at least stopped struggling and ended up sitting in the bathtub, feeling the water surround her. But she couldnt really relax, trembling a little and feeling restless. She wanted to move but didnt have the power to so instead her mind was racing. She didnt reply when he apologized, sitting deep in thought and nausea. The water was making her feel a little better but that was probably just her mind wanting to believe that. "Sure." she answered to what she would call a gentle demand. Why would she leave anyway? She was feeling too horrible to get anywhere. "Who's the kid?" she asked, just to get her mind on something else than the usual circles of mindless blubber she had.

Sighing softly he shrugged at the question, "it's a long story and I'm already too tired to be sitting here combing your hair," he just said, though he would want her to know eventually, right now was perhaps not when she acted her most decent self. He still cared for her, as strange as that sounded. "I'll tell you when we've both gotten some sleep," he said, pulling the plug of the bath, letting her sit and watch the water drain as he grabbed a towel for her. Helping her all the way, he dried her off, letting her have a spare towel just for her long hair that no longer had knots in it. He was tired. More tired than he had been in a while and he was fighting to keep his eyes open as he helped her in to bed. Sitting down in a chair, he would just fall asleep there if nobody cared to offer him a spot to sleep.

Vinnie wasn't sure how Mickey would react, or rather if she would even blink at waking up to a stranger. Deep down Vinnie knew she struggled with something, but she had never shared anything. And yet, when it all came down to it, he felt good that she sought out his place when she hit bottom like this. He moved over sitting down on the bed at first before laying down, quickly dozing off to sleep. It had been a weird day, and his dreams were sure to be even weirder.

Vinnie hadn't heard when Mickey had gotten up to leave, but he knew she wouldn't be there in the morning. That was how she worked, he guessed, and he didn't take too much offense to it. Instead as he turned over on the couch, he pulled the blanket closer to his body, realizing how irritated his skin was from having slept in his jeans. Either way he laid there for a bit, stretching and rubbing his sore sides before eventually sitting up. Yawning, he scratched his scalp, fluffing up his already messy hair. It needed to be bleached again soon, already feeling irritated with the dark roots, but it would have to wait a bit. He got up, using the restroom before washing his hands and brushing his teeth.
Once all of those morning rituals had finished he moved out in to the kitchen, putting on the coffee machine, making it how he liked it. From the kitchen he could easily see Gaspar laying on the bed, and he smiled to himself for a bit. He looked cute. But just as he thought that he got a strange expression, shaking his head and looked away. He thought the cat was attractive? Okay, he wasn't ready to unpack that amount of therapy today.

"Ah, you're awake," he said, sending him a smile as he looked away briefly as he had gotten to prepare breakfast for the two of them. Eggs, bread and a bit of leftover turkey bacon that he had was now frying on the pan. "Hope you're hungry," he chuckled, still trying to shake what he had seen as Gaspar had slept. He found it weird and so he didn't act on it. "How about a walk after we've had something to eat? Get you familiar with the area and then maybe buy you some clothes that actually fit," he suggested. He was more rested and felt more energetic. Although in the back of his mind he still worried for Mickey, he also couldn't force her to stay when she was like this.

Vinnie sighed, seeing that Gaspar got upset by suggesting these things, so he would have to go out by himself. He didn't mind. Taking the pan off the heat, he dried his hands, walking over to the bed, sitting down on it next to him. "I know ... You're still frustrated," he sighed, it had been easier when he was a cat, but now they had to be smart about things. "I want to help you, but we can't just sit around doing nothing," he had plans to talk with some people at the temples. Maybe get in touch with someone who might know what Gaspar was, because Vinnie only knew of lycans to shapeshift like this. "Come get something to eat, and if you still don't wanna come with me, then we have to agree on some things for you to do while at the apartment," he said.

Vinnie wasn't sure what to say or do. This was truly up to Gaspar, but he wouldn't be alone in all of this. Reaching over he placed a hand on the cat turned human's head, ruffling up his hair a little, smiling softly at him. "If you don't feel ready to go out, you don't have to ... We can just turn on the TV and you can sit and watch that all day for all I care," taking a deep breath, "but if you want things to change, you can't just sit and wait for them to do so." He reminded him of it as gently as he could. But it was true. Nothing had ever been accomplished by doing nothing about it. "So what do you say? Breakfast and TV ... And if you're up for it maybe the smallest walk?"

Vinnie had tried his best, but putting yourself in a cat's head wasn't an easy feat. He was tackled, tumbling back off the bed as Gaspar straddled himself on top. He was a bit stunned to be honest, and it wasn't easy when all he wanted to do was help the guy. "Alright, I hear you loud and clear," he gave in. No walks it was. He looked up qt Gaspar, the golden eyes and fluffy hair. He could sense the cat within, but it was hard thinking of the Maine Coon when what was on top of him was a guy roughly his age. "You should ... Uh ... Probably get off of me," he said. It felt almost awkward, at least on his part. No, he was not going to lay here and admit to being attracted to this version of Gaspar. He was a cat!

Gaspar being told to get off. What was he upset about now? He seemed to be even more difficult to handle than Mickey, at least regarding mood swings. He sighed as the guy got off of him, hearing the rumble he just nodded towards the kitchen where food was ready, running both hands through his hair as if he had to calm down. Not that he was angry. Rather, the tackling had turned him on!? Fuck you're a freak, he thought to himself, fucking furry.

Once he was done freaking out, he rubbed his eyes before getting up. He knew he needed to use his glasses, but he hated how he looked with them on, and they were always a hassle to keep clean. Luckily his vision hadn't gone too bad yet, but it would with time. At least that was what the doctor said. He moved over to the kitchen, grabbing a place for himself, grabbing a fork as well before sitting down in the couch, tough keeping his distance somewhat. He felt perverted. Dirty and maybe a bit guilty, because it hadn't seemed like Gaspar had realized. Luckily his quote on quote problem had gone away for now, and he tried convincing himself that it was just him being lonely and needing to get laid. Nothing more. At least he refused to believe otherwise!
Turning on the TV he noticed out the corner of his eye how Gaspar was struggling with the eggs, smiling at him as he went up to grab a spoon for him. Maybe the easiest utensil to use when all you had was basically use it as a shovel. Showing him how to use it, he had taken a spoon himself making it easier.

It felt good to be able to help the cat turned human, but it also seemed like the smallest things were either a triumph or a hindrance. He watched the TV, however keeping an eye on the guy next to him while he ate, mostly because he had a hard time letting go of what he had been feeling. It had been fleeting. Nothing serious, of course he knew that, but it had been so different from anything he had tried before.
Finishing his plate he placed it on the coffee table, leaning back as he placed a hand on his expanded stomach, sighing as he felt rather good now that he had gotten something to eat. "So, if you don't wanna go for a walk, what do you want to do?" he asked after sitting in silence for a while.

Vinnie was a bit surprised as Gaspar practically snuggled up to him. Those big yellow eyes somehow reminded him that it was indeed the cat who always wanted to snuggle at the most strange of times. The question made him chuckle, because it was how he had interpreted his eyes looking at him like that, but it actually felt nice to hear him vocalise it. "Well I don't want you to die, so maybe we should figure out something we can do together," fuck he looked cute right now, the dark strands of hair looking just as fluffy as his cat fur had been. Somehow he couldn't stop his hand from touching a strand ever so carefully. "I guess ... We could have a lazy day? I could go out, grab us some snacks and we could watch a movie or something?" It felt almost normal speaking about all of this, but it was clear that the cat turned human wanted to hide away while he adjusted to his new looks.
