Healing isn't always easy | Eden

He did want to hear what Romeo might be thinking. He had mentioned their some-day family and it was something Eden wanted to encourage. The names were sweet. Eden’s smile grew. “Eloisa and Elio Altieri. Our children.” He sighed, before Romeo returned the question. The vampyre hummed thoughtfully, drumming lightly on the wheel with his fingers. “Felice Altieri.” He said, without a doubt in his mind would he want at least one child with that name. He chuckled and shook his head. “It just sounds nice and can work for both boy and girl. And I hope italian too.” He remarked, as he actually wasnt too sure but if Romeo confirmed it then he was set on it. “Would you want to take them to the country side of Italy like you were as a kid?” He asked, mostly because there was a curiousity about how much the lycan wanted their kids to be in touch with their roots. Now that Eden didnt have much to offer anyway.

“Alright, we can go at another time. But then where should we be having our honeymoon?” He pondered. Because honeymoons were supposedly after the wedding right?

They eventually did arrive at the small house but the drive had been a little tedious. Not to mention all the bumps from the road that definitely wasnt made for cars. Eden handled their baggage while Romeo went inside. Eden could guess the bedroom from the pictures he had seen so he went there to put down their bag. He smiled a little as he noticed that the clothes he had ordered was as well. The good thing about good contacts was that there were no disappointments to be had. He went to the lycan, chuckling softly at the remark, smiling at him in quite a sweet and calm manner. The question about their outfits made him grin softly. Instead of answering in full, he reached down to grab his hand. “Follow me.” He urged him before he took him into the bedroom and went to the two bags hanging from the tall window. “I hope you like it. I wanted to keep it traditional. But stylish.” He explained while he let the lycan inspect them. It was suits, quite expensive ones too. But instead of the boring black as Eden would have called it, were they customized to a darker red colour. The fabric was as good as it looked. The white shirts were in a creamed white with faint silver looking linings to add texture. There were matching flowers in both.

Perfect? Eden could live with that. The vampyre lifted his hand to place over Romeo’s warm one, holding it tenderly while they were still also holding hands with the others. He hummed at the suggestion, giving his hands a soft squeeze. It kind of was hard to believe that this was really happening and yet it was. He could see how strong the lycan was reacting before he hid his face away in his chest. Eden let go of his hand, moving his cold hand over to softly hold Romeo’s head, right under his hairline, rather strategically to make sure Romeo could feel his feelings and ground himself if he needed. “It is really happening.” He assured him, giving his neck a soft squeeze, kind of massaging it slowly. “Should we do any vows?”

It was rather sweet that the lycan was so taken by his emotions and that Eden could help him with how calm he could make himself. Not that he couldnt have reacted the same way, but maybe he really hadnt realized yet that this was really happening. “That’s alright.” He smiled, leaning his head down to kiss the lycan’s. The question of having a sip made him frown a little as he looked at him with serious eyes. “I need you to keep your strength too.” He said, letting go of the lycan to cup his face. “I cant have you fall asleep on me on our most important night.” He said, switching between the beautiful hazel eyes.

Eden was relatively calm or maybe he was just hiding it better. He felt the excitement like adrenaline but he had had years of experience as to not just jump around and air some of that excitement. Didnt mean that he wasnt feeling almost nauseous from the sheer happiness inside of him. The remark about the fantasy made the vampyre roll his eyes and chuckle. “I guess I’ll have to wait with hearing it.” He remarked, though the promise made it easier to handle that the lycan was trying to rile him up.

They went and arrived there. Eden greeted the official rather professionally too, quite clearly approving of her. The forms were handed to them and Eden helped filling out the rest once Romeo was done. The way that the lycan was so visibly affected was endearing in every sense. Eden just wanted to wrap his arms around him and have him close for eternity if it was possible.
The moonlight was bright but it was far better than the sun. Eden looked at it, wondering if they had chosen a night on a full moon. Surely that hsd to be affecting the lycan as well. When the ceremony began, Eden did pay attention to the official but he also kept glancing at Romeo. It really felt like the deepest red on the rose tinted glasses. The lycan was so beautiful in the light. The gesture made him clear his throat as he turned to the lycan. He reached down to touch his hand, seeing that he wasnt exactly the best at displaying his emotions as Romeo was. So it was better to let him feel. He breathed out and his eyes softened up as he looked into the glimmering hazel eyes in front of him. “Tonight, I wont just take you as my husband, Romeo. You can never just be one thing to me. You are the one who turned my life upside down and served as a guiding hand to something that I cant even describe. We promised each other honesty always and I want that to continue into the new life that we will start together. I promise to be your rock, someone you can lean onto for support, as this love between us is like nothing I have ever felt before. I guess I dont have to say that I would give my life for yours.” He chuckled at the notion, though it wasnt really that funny; more rather tragic but also beautiful. It fit quite well when he had told the lycan that he wanted to die at the hands of the one he loved. Ironically either way. “… You will always be my soulmate. I promise that I will honor this marriage and do you right always. As you truly deserve.” He gave his hand a squeeze, lifting it to his lips to ground himself a little. “I love you. And I will love you always. My love for you can never be defined or changed, no matter the circumstances or hardships. So I hope that it will be enough. And I hope to make you just as happy in this moment again through our marriage. There is no greater joy than to see you bloom and shine.” He said, scoffing and sniffling as he realized that he was tearing up. He had to stop before it got too overwhelming for him, though he could speak the whole night.

Eden hadnt meant to be tearing up but it was quite a lot to be speaking vows and think back on the road that had lead them to this moment. Would he do it all again? If this was what would await him at the end? He kissed the lycan’s hand a few times before both of them were calm enough to have the lycan’s vows spoken. Eden looked at him with loving eyes, but there was also a vulnerability that was almost clearly showing. As it should now that this was their moment. The official was there but it was all about the two of them. And Eden didnt want the lycan to be all alone in all the big feelings that were surrounding them now. He listened to him and it all made sense. When Romeo paused, Eden was clearly taken out of the loop for a moment, but in a good way. He scoffed softly at how this was affecting him. Had he maybe thought that his vampyre self wouldnt be able to feel this much? Yeah. But was it fine that it was feeling it all? Absolutely.
The way Romeo ended it was so beautiful. Somehow it was such a shame that no one would get to see it and yet Eden was happy that it was just them. It was just their love. They didnt need anyone else. The official spoke after a small break and Eden answered without a doubt, “I do.” To then hear Romeo almost eagerly cut her off just to say it made Eden smile a little, his hand firmly holding the lycan’s, afraid to ever let go. It felt like if he let go now, it would be ruined. He had to hold on to keep their bond intact, until they were declared married. And once they were, he turned to the lycan, grabbing him gently before their lips collided. His stomach was so full of butterflies and it felt so perfect. He felt the pull, grasping at the clothes Romeo were wearing, a little too preoccupied to wonder if he was squeezing it too hard. They eventually let go and once the license and pictures were over, Eden lifted the lycan up to head further into the forest. “Mr. Altieri.” He hummed, really liking how it sounded. He looked up at Romeo before he stopped. “Kiss me.” He almost demanded, putting the lycan down before his impatience had him lean in to do it.

“I will strain myself and then have my husband take care of me when I’m strained and tired!” He objected happily, before he simply just had to feel his lips on his own. This moment wouldnt get better than it was and the whisper could make him feel goosebumps all over if he had the possibility to do so. He rather eagerly devoured his lips where they stood, overcome with joy and happiness. It was done. They where finally married and no one could tear them apart now. “Yes I am. And you’re mine.” He muttered back, grinning before Romeo said words that easily riled up the vampyre. “I need mine.” He complained softly, licking the lycan’s lips, holding him close, grasping lightly at his clothes. “Romeo Altieri, the man of my dreams, my husband.” He called him against his lips in a longing tone.

Eden gladly followed the pull, soon recognizing the sound of the waterfall as well. It felt like returning home somehow. This was where they had given in to their urges for the first time. It seemed that it would be very much the same but this time as a married couple. The complaint made Eden chuckle softly. “Then let’s get out of them.” He said, undressing as the lycan did the same. Their clothes were stadhed away and he joined him in the hot water. It was odd how it was still warm after all this time but Eden wasnt complaining. He eagerly made out with the lycan, one arm around him while the other held onto a few exposed roots just so they wouldnt follow the flow. The mention of his thoughts made Eden hum rather intrigued to hear more. “I am dying to know what you’ve fantasized this time.” He assured him, his arm moving down to run over his body, pressing him closer if that was even possible at this point.

A fancy event? Why could Eden imagine that happening quite soon when they were both healed and settling into their freshly started business? The lycan just knew how to work around words. Eden’s imagination didnt even have to work hard as he listened to him. “Would you do your duty as a husband at a fancy event?” He asked, leaning in to nibble the lycan’s earlobe, feeling the bite that made him grit his teeth. The mention of their office made him groan, his hand moving down to cup the lycan’s behind and squeeze just to regulate a bit of the inner tension he was starting to feel. “We would break the table.” He muttered, gritting his teeth at the thought. “Oh we would break that table and I would blame it on your bratty behaviour.” He rolled his eyes in delight before he exhaled from deep within, looking at the lycan. “But tonight, we’ll celebrate our union, this time, the cave will really be made ours.” He sighed, smiling slyly at the notion.

He didnt have to say that twice, Eden released him from his grip before he followed. It was just as beautiful as he had remembered it to be, if not better. All the crystals were glimmering, only no possible light could make it inside here so they all lit on their own. It was quite a magical sight to behold. The wonder made Eden chuckle. “Everything is for sale.” He muttered as the rich man in him spoke. He would at least find out, if not for Romeo then for himself. Especially as Romeo voiced a possible cabin being near. “I love your mind.” He sighed, their lips clashing. The vampyre groaned softly against his mouth, pulling him with him to a more shallow part of the cave. Sitting in the wet sand with water up to his stomach, he pulled the lycan closer to sit on his lap, gripping his thighs, kissing him over and over, even licking his lips to have their tongues dance.

His whole body was yearning for the lycan, but he wanted to take things slow. Just a little bit longer, even if it would drive them mad. Eden was sure that he was already past that point either way. His hands moved up, touching up the lycan’s body, feeling his warm wet skin, pressing it closer to his that had warmed up in the water. “Be patient my love.” He muttered to him sweetly, feeling how he was pressing down on him. It was such a good tease, especially after all this time of them denying each other that closeness. “I wouldnt have believed you if you told me this was what would happen a month ago.” He muttered, moving a hand down to feel the lycan up. Sure, he was loose but not quite enough for them to go st it.
