Healing isn't always easy | Eden

"Say Morello again," he said, before shaking his head no, "Say my name and then Morello." He wanted to know what it sounded like to hear Eden say it. He found that Romeo Morello might be fitting, but he wouldn't know for certain before hearing Eden say it - even if he found it complicated, it actually perhaps was the Italian equivalent of the name the vampyre had suggested.
The thought of Eden speaking both languages as well did make him feel good. He had indeed alluded to some private lessons, groaning softly as the vampyre grasped at him. Maybe they were riling each other up a bit too much, but it wasn't like Romeo could do much but comply. "Sí Amore mio," he replied, leaning into his grasp, a soft moan escaping his lips. His eyes vulnerable as he looked at the vampyre. He was terribly turned on right now, and he was sure Eden could feel it while they were laying this close. Not that he was embarrassed by it, rather they had agreed to be mindful. So he found it a bit annoying that he couldn't even control his body.

Romeo's eyes softened up quite a bit. Just hearing Eden say it made it sound so good. He felt his stomach flutter a bit at the thought, and then the vampyre asked Romeo to say his name as well. He chuckled softly, but did say it, his accent a little heavy as he was quite riled up at the moment, "Eden Morello," he spoke in his native tongue. It sounded so good. At least to his ears. To think that the vampyre would have an Italian name made him very happy.
The conversation turned onto the two of them discussing Eden learning the language. Or rather perhaps more so expanding his vocabulary, because the vampyre did know a few words here and there, which had surprised Romeo many a times. It was a good thing he leaned away, though Romeo perhaps couldn't hide his disappointment in the lack of physical contact they had right now. He hummed, nodding as he started to button up his shirt as he was starting to feel a bit more self-conscious now that he also had to teach his love how to speak. "I suppose we could .. Is there anything you want to know how to say?" that was perhaps a good place to start and not just dive into grammar and conjugation.

To have a conversation, well that was relatively easy he supposed, but he didn't think he meant business related. He though him a fair few phrases, only moving on when the vampyre deemed he had tackled and memorized the previous. Romeo felt almost in his element, speaking Italian was sometimes easier than English, even if he spoke it at a high level. "Sei pronto a diventare padre?" he asked after the two of them practicing a few words, a bratty smile spreading on his lips before leaning closer to his ear. "Vuoi che ti chiami papà?" he whispered rather sensually, "O forse signore?" He was being bratty, but he just couldn't help himself. It was his go-to around the vampyre. Sighing softly he kissed his neck a few spots.
"I am actually getting tired," he admitted in slight defeat. He didn't want their evening to end, it was so perfect right now. Sure, they had had a few ups and downs, but he honestly felt like overall it had been very nice. "Do you need a sip or two?" he asked, mostly because Eden hadn't brought it up himself, but he wasn't sure how much Eden truly needed to drink.

He knew he was a bit cruel, but could you really blame him when both of them were in an agonizing limbo right now? He had to let out some steam, if not just to make the vampyre feel wanted still. He had only brought up the feeding because he knew how Eden could be about asking for help. It was better to just suggest it than risking him losing control, right? He moved, sitting down in his lap, looking a little vulnerable, but it was perhaps more about the fact that it was so intimate for him. He wasn't sure how Eden found it after what had happened yesterday, and it was perhaps what worried him the most.
His breath got caught in his throat as the vampyre slowly started to unbutton his shirt again. For some reason he didn't feel nervous about exposing his chest right now. Perhaps because he knew this was for the better of Eden's health. The question made him smile, because that was indeed what he had asked him about. Maybe it was a bit weird or kinky, but between them they had done much worse than referring to one another by pet names such as these. "You call me a brat all the time .. wouldn't it only be fair that I refer to you as something too?" he asked almost innocently. However as his neck was licked he groaned softly, feeling how his body reacted so clearly to the touch.
"I miss your tongue," he whined softly, closing his eyes as the vampyre decided to tell him about the nature of bites for a vampyre. His face went red. Hearing Eden speak about it like that was rather erotic. His voice deep and soothing in ways that Romeo could barely fathom. His breath hiccupping softly as the shirt was unbuttoned further, the urge made him move his hand a little instinctively up to Eden's hair, entangling his fingers with his dark fibers. A lot of things he could get used to, but feeling how the teeth pierced his skin was so new to him still. Gasping softly, his grip in the vampyre's hair tightened, not wishing to hurt him though.
The teeth were swiftly removed, and the poison was quickly burned away, only making Romeo feel drowsy for a few seconds. That was when he felt how Eden was feeling him up, a soft whimper left his lips as he felt quite overwhelmed. Just being touched like this was amazing, but he also felt so selfish for thinking that. "Hah .. mhmm .. Eden," he moaned softly, his blood running from the teeth marks on his shoulder, but he couldn't feel it when his body was busy being stimulated like this.

Of course Romeo could feel how good Eden felt right now, however in all of this he felt like their feelings melted together into some incoherent mess of love and need. When the vampyre's cold fingers wrapped around his length with nothing between their skin he whined, his head falling back as he couldn't stop his hips from moving with the rhythm that the hands set.
This really wasn't fair! He was longing for him so much, wanting to be filled up by him, and he knew this was all he was going to get. "Eden," he panted softly, his cheeks crimson at this point as it felt too good. He pressed the vampyre to his wounds, and it didn't even occur to him that they were still out in their garden. Being this turned on and engulfed by his loves entire scent it was hard to focus on anything but what they were doing. "I wish you could feel my insides right now," he complained into his ear, "just warming you up, only riding you slow to keep you hard."
Oh yes, his mind was filthy, but he couldn't hold back when it was like this. His stomach was starting to churn as a tense feeling started to build up. He didn't want to give in. He didn't want to without Eden.

Romeo could barely contain himself as Eden's fingers reached his entrance, squirming softly and yet so into it. He wanted to keep this going, wanted the vampyre to feel how much he longed for him. In the back of his mind he had sorta accepted that it wouldn't go further, even if it hurt to think about it. Maybe that was why the mutter took him out of it, stopping his movements to look seriously at Eden. His thumb caressing his chin, wiping away the loose blood and saliva. It took everything in him to say this, but he needed to be reasonable here. "Not tonight," his voice raw as he looked at him with gentle eyes. He leaned in, connecting their foreheads. "Please, before you get disappointed, hear me out," he pleaded. He was rather riled up right now, needing to have a breather before he could think about how to say this.
"I want you to save your strength," he said, feeling his mouth so dry from panting and moaning in the warm summer air. "I want you to save all that love you have for me .. And use it when we go to our cave," it was important to him. Being back in that cave where everything had started, he could almost remember the sensation of the soft sand against his back and the soft waves coming in. "It would mean so much to me .. Please," he whispered softly, closing his eyes and hoping that Eden could hear him through his lust.

He knew that look, and frankly Romeo wouldn't have turned him down if everything was normal. But the thought of going too rough to not enjoy one another in their cave when they were finally getting back was a heart breaking thought. He felt the hand cup his face, humming to confirm that Eden had heard right. He was a bit surprised to feel the kiss, but gladly returned the gentleness of it. He agreed, and frankly Romeo felt very relieved. "Thank you," he muttered softly, stealing another kiss.
He asked if Eden had gotten his fill of blood and if it was a yes he would get up, though stumbling a bit as he felt lightheaded. He did manage to stabilize himself before actually falling. "Don't worry," he smiled at the love of his life if he looked upset or surprised. "I was just a bit overwhelming for me, that's all," he promised, and that wasn't even a lie. Feeling Eden like that, drinking from him, touching him everywhere at once. Hell, even on a normal day he would've felt lightheaded afterwards. He looked at the pillows and blankets, and if Eden would help him they brought it all inside again. Romeo just dumped it in a pile, promising to help sort it out the next day when both of them had rested.
He went ahead to the bathroom, preparing himself for bed which didn't take too long, though he did place a fresh patch over the bite just to stop it from leaking during the night. Having brushed his teeth and adjusted his pajamas he joined Eden in the bedroom. He laid down on their bed, sighing softly to himself, "you can have a smoke before bed if you really need it," he smiled, knowing that he was probably craving it. That was why it was nice the balcony led to their room.

The vampyre entered their bedroom with a vial in his hand, looking up at him he nodded at the offer to be helped. He sat up, opening his patch a bit because for the night while it healed it would be nice to have it covered up. The tears gave him some instant relief, closing his eyes as he sighed softly, and once it was done he thanked his love for his help.
Snuggling into bed, he felt how tired his body actually was, and as Eden would enter he would already be half asleep. Though he was fighting to stay awake just to move in close to his fiancé. Once his arms were around him he muttered a very incoherent "goodnight," before drifting off to dreamland.

Waking up the next day he stretched for a bit. His shoulder feeling much better. Turning to see Eden made him smile. There would always be that giddy feeling spreading within him when he was with him, wasn't there? He reached up, cupping his face and pulling in for a sweet and tender morning kiss. To think that this was how the rest of his life was going to be felt like a dream come true.
"Goodmorning handsome," he spoke, his voice a little raspy from the hours of sleep it had been through. Though it didn't seem that the vampyre ever minded. His hand moved down, touching the bare skin on his chest if he hadn't buttoned up from yesterday. "You're actually not all that cold right now," he said a bit surprised, but it was just the normal process of the two of them sleeping close all night. Romeo always slept best all tangled up in the vampyre. "I guess we should plan it out today," he muttered, humming to himself.
"I'm going to need breakfast, and perhaps to pack some lunch for the car," yeah he would much rather prepare from home than pull into a gas station to get something he knew he wouldn't ever touch. "And we gotta book a hotel room, pack away the pillows and blankets from yesterday .. and .. pack some clothes for our trip," he said, wondering if he had forgotten something.

Romeo really felt sorta strong waking up to the man he loved, smiling softly as Eden sounded almost tired. It was cute. The plan the made was good, and the addition from the vampyre made him very relieved to hear. Maybe he was too used to people promising one thing only to do another. But once again the vampyre proved himself in Romeo's eyes.
Eden made the choice that it was time for them to get up, but he remained in bed a little bit, just watching Eden getting dressed. It was so mundane and yet it was all he had ever wanted with him. Was it weird that he dreamed of a simple life? Perhaps not in this day and age. Though with Eden everything would be truly wonderful.
As the vampyre went to go smoke, Romeo grabbed some clothes; a pair of black jeans and an oversized shirt. Underneath the shirt he would have a more tight-fitting long sleeve, just to hide up a bit more. He was semi-comfortable with Eden seeing him, but not so much others and even less strangers.
He took a quick shower, just to feel fresh, brushing his teeth before getting dressed and heading out into their kitchen. He pulled out some ingredients to make an omelette, nothing fancy but again it didn't have to be. While the pan was heating up he poured himself a glass of juice. Well, juice for him was maybe half juice, half water; baby steps.
After eating he would get on to the small chores he had mentioned, packing away the blankets and pillows of yesterday before looking through the closet to find a bag they could put some spare clothes in. He knew they probably wouldn't go out to eat, but maybe he would be brave to do so when the time came. Grabbing a shirt and a nice sweater he pondered if he wanted some accessories as well, but looking down to his ring he didn't feel like anything could outshine it.

As Eden came in Romeo wondered if the vampyre was second guessing the trip with the way he started the sentence. However the follow up made him look really vulnerable to Eden. Almost in disbelief, but as he saw the pictures it warmed his heart. It was probably smaller than their apartment, but it looked really cozy, and a place where they could be away from home in without troubling themselves with a hotel. He flipped through the pictures, smiling as he found it so endearing, and he was really looking forward to this trip.
"I've been thinking," he said, taking Eden's hand, stepping a bit closer to him. Why are we waiting to get married .. when we could just do it on this trip?" It was a crazy idea, but Eden himself had asked for them to elope. And this was as eloping as it was going to get. "I know we still have to decide our name, and it might be a longer process, but honestly I just want to be your husband already," he admitted, entangling their fingers, "we've both survived this far, and I just need to be with you for the rest of my life." He leaned up, kissing him almost gently, wondering what he was thinking. "I could find an official .. we could do it tonight and then go to our cave .. consumate our pact; our marriage?" he was longing so much to be with Eden, but being with him as his husband would bound to have a lot of emotions attached to it.

Romeo couldn't help but chuckle a bit, because he found it almost unreal. He gave Eden's hand a soft squeeze, finding it perfect. Sure it wouldn't be a large and fancy wedding, but who would they invite anyways? Their family was the two of them, and nothing and no-one would ever get between them again. He leaned in, kissing him once more as he hummed, "While I do that, I want you to figure out if we are doing something special with our clothes," he said, because he knew Eden had a keen eye for that. He at least wanted one picture taken tonight, because even if he hated how he looked, it was only once you could really get married.
He let go of the vampyre a little reluctantly as he went to grab his phone. He called around some different places until one picked up who was seemingly very nice about all of it. Romeo explained the situation and there was a bit of background discussion on the other end before they agreed to the time and place. He set up the final agreements and as the nice woman asked for a name he wasn't sure what to say. "We'd like to fill it out when we sign," he just said, just because saying any of their names might be risking it.
Returning he nodded to Eden, a bit giddy and it showed in how much he smiled. It almost felt like his cheeks were going to fall off from how much he was using those muscles in his face.

It was actually a bit nerve-wracking to be doing this, but he also knew that he wanted it. They had talked about it so much and now it was happening? He answered the kiss the vampyre planted on his lips, sighing softly as he prolonged it just a little more. But they did really have to get going now if they wanted to be there in time. It was going to be a bit of a drive.
Packing up the car, Romeo got into the passenger's seat up front, mostly because he liked it when Eden was driving. The lycan put on some random playlist, holding the vampyre's hand when it wasn't being used on the wheel. The drive took a while, so he wanted to strike up a conversation. Especially about names as they really had to figure it out by tonight. "I know we spoke of Morello yesterday," he said, turning the music down a little so they could hear each other better. "But after sleeping on it .. It doesn't feel like us, you know," he admitted, looking at their hands, his free one moving over to run along the cold fingers. He was not sure what other names they could really pick, but neither of their current names were up for running.
"I know you want a more muted name," he said, taking a deep breath as he had clearly been thinking about this a lot since waking up. His hazel eyes moved up to look at Eden's face, and while the vampyre rarely emoted when he found something good, he wanted to look at him regardless. "I ran through some names in my head, trying to find something that would suit us, but also being special enough for us down the line," was it strange that he wanted a legacy? If they were planning on kids in the future, wasn't it a given that he wanted them to have a last name they could be proud of. He took a deep breath before chuckling a bit, "you know .. All Italian families claim to be descendant of great and old noble houses." Maybe that was a truth everywhere he thought, but then it had hit him. "Altieri," he said, "it is not really an uncommon name, but it's also not common if you get me." Maybe it sounded too weird. Maybe it didn't sound right to Eden's ears. "Eden Altieri .. Romeo Altieri .. It sounds fluent, like a poem, or am I crazy ..?"

It was time to go and they had the car packed in no time. Not that they needed a lot. Eden however looked at the apple he had picked from the store. It would surely go stale if it was just left here. He did cut it up into pieces and placed it in a bag rather neatly so it wouldnt go brown. Once they were ready and set in the car, he drove off. It was relatively easy to drive with one hand as it had an automatic gear. He let the lycan hold his hand for the most part.
It was nice that Romeo struck up a conversation and Eden listened as he kept his eyes on the road. "Yeah?" he spoke, looking at the lycan. Maybe it wasnt the most fitting but it surely would have let them live a life in peace. But it became more apparent that it was a big deal to the lycan, which Eden didnt mind. A family name was important, especially if they were planning on starting one.
The mention of Italian families made Eden hum, seeing that he hadnt known that at all. The name he suggested made Eden look rather thoughtful on the road, though he couldnt let himself go too deep into thinking while he was driving. He had to make sure they would get there in one piece after all. "Altieri." he repeated, listening to the way it sounded coming off his own tongue. It did sound rather good. "What if we had a child? Would the name also fit them? What names would then fit with it?" he asked, glancing at the lycan with a small smile. He did actually quite like that name. "Surely if we pick an italian last name, it calls for just as italian first name. Right?"

Romeo chuckled as Eden seemed to like it, though the mention of kids made him blush a little. The thought of having children with Italian first names as well wasn't weird to him, but for some reason he had thought that the vampyre might want to name them something more modern and befitting of Churchill. But apparently not. "Well seeing as these are just hypothetical children so far .." he muttered, looking out at the road as he thought about it. "Elio is rather cute for a boy I suppose .. For a girl that could be Eloisa?" he wasn't really thinking of names so far, but it was a fun exercise. "Now you tell me some names .. What would sound good for our children?"
