Healing isn't always easy | Eden

He was pushed back on the bed, laying there as his legs were pushed apart, blushing as he wasn't even sure how to react. It wasn't helping with the way he was longing to be with him. They took a few moments to simply be themselves before Romeo covered up once more. He asked Eden to pull the string and a nurse knocked on the door before entering. Soon after a doctor came to the door, knocking softly on the door before he entered. Romeo pleaded his case about the feeding tube as well as the question of letting Eden stay here. "I've followed every regulation, every rule, and the special doctors even said that the meds should take care of the rest for now .. please, I just need to feel like a person for once." The doctor looked pretty skeptical.

"Listen, as much as I want to subscribe to that idea, I fear there might be complications," the doctor said even after the human spoke for the case. But Romeo wasn't convinced. "I'll agree to a compromise then," he said, giving Eden's hand a squeeze, "I get the feeding tube out for the night, and if I can't eat in the morning you can put it in me again .. but I want my husband to stay with me tonight." Romeo was quite adamant in his stance. Even if he couldn't see anything, it was clear he had a vision for what he wanted. The doctor sighed, looking some papers over. "Alright .. but I'll also schedule some tests for you tomorrow along with a blood sample," he said, though it was clear he was a little worried. Romeo smiled softly, quite clearly happy to hear it. "But if your significant other is staying, I'm moving you to a temporary bigger room .. I suppose it would be best for a bigger bed for the two of you," he said. He wasn't blind to what Romeo was asking for, and frankly he saw no problem with it. His tests had come back good and nothing was really happening besides the fact that Romeo still couldn't see. "Thank you doctor," the lycan spoke, giving Eden's hand another squeeze for good measure.
The doctor made his leave and a nurse entered soon after to remove the feeding tube. Romeo groaned as it was taken out, as it was quite painful, but he at least felt like he could breathe more easily now. "Another nurse will be with you soon to take you to your new room," the nurse smiled, leaving with the equipment. And she had spoken the truth, soon a male nurse knocked on the door, sending the couple a warm smile. He asked them to follow and Romeo grabbed onto Eden's elbow once more, just following him. His stuff would be moved if needed, but until then all he really needed was Eden. The room they got had a rather nice view where you could see the forest in the distance, not that Romeo got to enjoy anything of that sort. The nurse showed Eden where the essentials were like towels, shampoo and extra pillows. As well as pointing towards the nightstand where a few extra items had been placed. He could respect Eden's wishes to consider it, nodding as he heard the human leave the room. A few nurses came in the meantime to check up on Romeo, make sure he was ready to eat and telling him of the dinner options that there would be. He opted for something easy which was pumpkin soup. It would be warm and filling, and hopefully it would go down easier because he wouldn't have to chew. As Eden returned Romeo felt nervous to hear his verdict, but the fact that he did want to have dinner with him made him smile. Frankly, dinner went better than expected. Sure, it was hard to eat, but he took his time and it actually stayed down. The only trouble was that he couldn't eat the whole portion, but that was mainly due to his stomach feeling so full after having survived off of the tube for a whole day. After eating they sorta ended up snuggling up on the bed. Romeo could hear the TV, but not really caring much for it as he just enjoyed being close to Eden.
