“Maybe.” He chuckled, though he hadnt really thought about that at all. But then again, he had never really been as much into a relationship than this one. When the bill came, Joe was more than happy to split it and seeing that it really hadnt been that expensive, he felt happy. It was quite nice that the vampyre hadnt just taken him somewhere where a simple drink would have shredded his wallet. He left a tip too, just a small one for the good service. He was taken around town and he was still having a pretty good time.
It was quite sweet that the vampyre went along with it as Joe sort of stuck to the roles of their date and upheld the rules. No excessive touches or kisses. His words were genuine, as were the vampyre’s. It made his stomach tingle a bit as he closed the door before he could open it again. Was it silly? Maybe. But it felt so good.
Their lips met and he felt the vampyre’s arms wrap around him and grasp at him. He couldnt describe how safe he felt in his arms. When he felt the tongue, he opened his own mouth to let their tongues slide together, groaning under his breath as his body warmed up. His cheeks slowly turned red and when Cesare pulled away, he looked at him with half lidded eyes. “Second date already?” He muttered, panting softly. The mention of dessert made him sigh softly. “What exactly is dessert to you?” He asked, to then realize that he had been clutching onto the vampyre’s shirt as well.

"There's no rules about how far apart each date should be, right?" He knew he was right in this. Never in all of his years had he ever heard of a rule such as that. The follow up made him chuckle softly, "you'll see," he promised him, leaning in to give him a soft yet lingering kiss. He urged him to change into something more comfortable if he wanted to, and while he was off to do that, Cesare set everything up. Outside on the sand he had adjusted some of the furniture which was fairly easy, so that it made up almost a bed outside. He placed down a few soft mats just to make it comfortable. Then he added a few pillows, and looked up as Benjamin came out. Cesare had taken off his shoes and socks, rolled up the cuffs of his pants as he walked to him. "Our second date will consist of stargazing, and if I'm lucky .. maybe more than one kiss?" He was being cheeky again, but he also was starting to catch on that Benjamin liked that about him.
The night sky was lighting up with stars above them, the moon a crescent and not taking up too much space which made the stargazing easier. He cupped the human's face, leaning closer to kiss him, "stop looking so handsome all the time," he muttered against his lips as he was truly trying to contain himself. Moving his hand down, he took his hand, gently pulling him with him over to the makeshift bed. He laid down, smiling as he clearly wanted the human to join him and lay beside him. Having an arm around his back he just pulled him a little closer, "do you know any constellations?" He asked.

“You’re just a bit greedy arent you?” He scoffed, though the vampyre was right. There was no limit for when they could have their dates or a wait time between. The promise made him only more curious and the kiss made him lean a little forward, frowning as it broke off. Yet he followed the urge and moved on to find something comfortable. He just settled on his own shirt but kept the pants on. He saw the necklace around his neck, wondering if the vampyre wanted him to keep it on or take off. He touched it lightly before he went out to see what Cesare had prepared for them.
He smiled as the vampyre approached him, humming softly as he described their date, the cheeky remark making him crease his brows, shaking his head like he thought he was unbelievable. But Joe really did like it.
He looked up at the sky to see what would be ahead of them, to then feel the cold hand on his face. The kiss and mutter made him look down a little shy. “Dont say that.” He chuckled. It would just get to his head. And he probably didnt need all that confidence. He followed Cesare to the bed he had prepared, watching him lay down before he joined him. He reached over to touch his shirt around his stomach, fiddling with the fabric just a little. “Uh… Yeah, I know a fair few.” He replied before he pointed out the ones he could know and see. He was actually quite knowledgable about them, but then again, it made sense in a closed off community to need something to teach. “When I was a kid, I would sit with my mom quite often and look at the stars. She always had some story to tell about whatever she saw.”

"As far as I know I'm still allowed to spoil you," he retaliated to the mutter. There was no harm in acknowledging the fact that the vampyre was very attracted to the human. Of course it wasn't just all about looks, but it sure was part of it, though beautiful didn't have to refer to someone's looks at all. The human followed him and as they laid down, he felt the fiddle with his shirt. It felt good in the sense that he liked having him just touch him a little. It didn't have to be crazy, but he felt so wanted and seen whenever the human did something like this.
He smiled as Benjamin pointed out constellations, most of them he knew, but some of them he didn't. He hadn't really been too much into studying the sky, and learning the names just seemed redundant. Though he appreciated Benjamin's knowledge. He spoke of his mother once more, making Cesare turn his head and press a kiss against his forehead. At least not all of his childhood was bad memories, and that was some sort of comfort. But he also felt like speaking of that would only bring out the bad memories. "Tell me some of those stories," he said, smiling as he was genuinely curious, "unless they are secret of course." If they were told to Benjamin in confidence, then maybe pressing for them wasn't a good idea. Though he wouldn't mind hearing the human speak more. He loved his voice.

Tell the stories? Joe scoffed softly and looked at the vampyre. “You would find them silly.” He said, hoping to meet the seafoam green eyes. If he did then he at least would know whether he was about to put himself out for mockery or that the vampyre genuinely wanted to hear a story. “Well, she’d point at the brightest star every time and say:” he pointed up at the brightest star he could see, though he just had to settle on one seeing there was quite a lot. “-This is you Benjamin and this will be your story. And all around you are the people you need. There are two stars here tonight… so by my moms standards would one be you and the other would be Sadie.” He explained before he went on to tell the story. It was quite simple, kind of like a fortune telling but using the stars. He pointed at a cluster of stars that were closer than the rest. “This little bundle of stars would be all my dreams. She would make me say them. So; truckdriver, adeventurer for me and that was it. But there were still stars, so she would fill out the ones I couldnt with things she wanted for me. One star would be happiness, the other health, another would be confidence and strength. She pointed at the one that shone the brightest among them and said love.” He said, pointing out the stars as he then looked at Cesare. “One night we saw a shooting star. She told me that it was the people who had taken up my universe before me, coming to check in.” He explained before he chuckled. “It maybe wasnt that much of a story. But I never forgot.”

PostSubject: Re: The everyday monsters in our lives   The everyday monsters in our lives - Page 28 EmptyWed Aug 24, 2022 1:10 pm

He was rather genuine about this. He wanted ehat to know more. He was actually a little relieved as the human began speaking, looking up to the stars as their meaning was revealed to him. It was strange hearing about them like this, but he liked it a lot, however hearing about those important to the human he felt quite touched to know that he was a part of that. The story went on, and he looked to the stars and then as it ended he looked to the human, leaning in to kiss him gently. There was just something special about this moment, and he simply couldn't help himself as he spoke again. "It's beautiful to hear .. but I want to know your dreams now," pointing to the dream part of the stars that the human had spoken about, "and then I'll tell you my dreams for you."
There was something soft in his eyes as he spoke. Like he wasn't just looking at his boyfriend anymore, he was looking at the person he loved and whom he wanted to be with no matter the trials they would be put under. The first date had been an experience that he seldom had had, and the fact that Benjamin really played it up as an actual first date had only made it better. He couldn't recall the last time - if ever - that he had done this. Genuinely he felt rather giddy, but also extremely relaxed. His hand caressing the human's side gently as he held him. The stars above twinkling as if they were actually trying to communicate with those down below.
They could also do his star prognosis once they had taken care of the human's, but he wanted to know more. Firstly he wanted to understand how this fully worked before he just assumed and misunderstood. And secondly he was curious to know what aspirations the human had now. Had he come to the city seeking to be a bouncer or was there something else he wanted to do? Regardless, in Cesare's eyes, as long as he was happy with what he did, then there really could be nothing bad about it. Besides that, the world needed different people for different jobs, not everyone wanted to aim to be a doctor.

“My dreams now?” He repeated with a frown. Was it odd that he hadnt really thought about it? He had just sort of tuned into working and making money, with no goal of what to use it on. He did need some time to think it through, just looking up at the start with a distant look as he tried to figure out what possibilities there were. He definitely was beyond truck driver at this point and he did think to go on adventures at some point but not as like a life long dream. “My dreams now…” he muttered, looking at the stars. “I guess I have simple dreams. I want to be happy.” He said, pointing to one star to assign it his happiness. “-and I want to live long.” He then said as he pointed to another. “Those would be my dreams for now.” He hummed, before he looked at the vampyre. “I guess a secret hope or wish hidden behind those dreams… would be that I soon wont have to meet with my boyfriend in secrecy.” He said, looking around the vampyre’s face with a soft look. His hand had moved on from fiddling with the vampyre’s shirt to mindlessly having moved it under his shirt, just feeling the soft skin on his fingertips.

"Simple is good," he just encouraged him, looking at him with a soft gaze as he soon started to talk of the sky above. Happiness. Have a long life. Those weren't bad dreams at all. The addition made the vampyre's face turn more vulnerable. He really wanted them to be out soon, and so did he, but as things were now, it was best if they kept it under wraps until the whole ordeal with Sadie and Martin was patched up. Feeling his warm hands on his skin made him sigh softly, clearly enjoying it as he closed his eyes for a little while, just enjoying the feeling. "My dreams for you," he said, opening his eyes to look at the human before he looked to the stars, pointing at each star for each wish, "I wish for your health .. I wish for your drive to never settle down .. I wish for you the life that you envision and create .. I wish you would kiss your boyfriend right now." All of them were genuine, and while the last one might've been a bit on the nose he felt like he had to mention it. Leaning in, their lips barely touching, he felt the warm breath against his cold lips. "Please," he added almost desperately. He couldn't be without him. He simply needed to taste him and feel him as they were right now. It was truly the vampyre being completely enamored with the human, and it was so clear to see. If their lips finally did meet, he would press him a little closer, just holding him safely in his arms.
A kiss turned to a small make out, their lips dancing a little eagerly against one another, clearly in need and passion. Cesare's free hand moved under his shirt, grasping softly at his skin, feeling the heat radiate up into his cold hand. He hadn't ever been this much in need of warmth as when he was with Benjamin. He simply loved being heated up, feeling the slight tingling in his skin as their temperatures clashed. "Do you want to hear my stars?" He whispered against his lips, though he didn't need to look at the stars to know them. "The one closest to me is you, and those close by are my sires, my family," he whispered softly, grinding himself softly against him before he pushed him onto his back, attacking his neck with kisses so the human could look up at the stars and see it for himself. "My dreams are both simple and yet not, but I dream of a life with you .. I dream of those around me to find happiness .. I dream that I might dream," he sucked softly on his skin where he knew he liked it, even biting him a little without piercing his skin of course. "What do you wish for me?" It was a rather intimate question to ask, but he was curious to hear what his boyfriend wanted for him.

This was just as good as it had been on their first date, holding hands under the table, talking. And yet it felt more intimate now. Looking at the stars, giving them their own meaning rather than what they already knew. It was like the stars were theirs. Their universe, their future. He looked as the vampyres pointed out the dreams he had for him and Joe looked at him with a soft gaze while he made sure to look at each star as well. The last one made him chuckle softly but it was good with some lighthearted input as well. The way he made their lips barely touch made Joe tense up a little, feeling his stomach flutter with emotion. The addition made him comply like had it been a command, leaning in slightly to connect their lips. His hand moved over to grasp the vampyre’s side and as they made out did he dig his fingernails into him.
The cold hand touching his skin was always welcome. As the kiss broke off, Joe was panting softly, his heart racing a little. “Tell me about them.” He whispered, wanting to hear more. He looked at the stars, listening to the vampyre before he felt him grind up against him. “Your stars are beautiful.” He muttered, looking at the sky while Cesare was tending to his body, seemingly already knowing what buttons to press to get him going. He felt quite happy that the vampyre wanted a life with him. Though he grit his teeth once he felt the suction on his neck. “I wish you get the stability you want. With me.” He whispered, moving his hands up into the vampyre’s hair.
He grabbed a soft hold of the mess to pull Cesare’s head back so they could look at each other. “I know all too well now that you fear loneliness. You fear that you’ll be abandoned. I wont do that to you anymore, I want to be with you I want to be the one you need me to be.” He said before he leaned in to connect their lips, this time a little more eagerly. “I love you.

He wished for his stability. He smiled softly as he liked the sound of that, groaning softly against his skin as he felt the warm hand in his hair. Being pulled back he looked at the human with a soft grin that soon turned to a more vulnerable smile. Was it fair enough that he was almost in disbelief? He surely knew that things between them had been rocky, but this promise he would hold onto. He would let himself feel that comfort, because the human was being genuine this time around. His eyes softening up as he was pulled back in for a kiss, sighing against his lips, "I love you too." One arm was supporting his wait as he was laying over the human, the other gently teasing his skin beneath the shirt. It was just perfect.
"You're getting a little warm," he muttered softly against his lips, feeling how warm he actually was beneath the shirt. "Should we take this off?" His cheeky smile returned as he chuckled softly, helping it off of him if he let him. Being greeted by his bare skin he sighed softly, just letting his hands caress him, his muscles so toned and just for him to experience. "Fuck you're so hot," he whined, gritting his teeth a little before leaning down to place a few kisses against his chest. The human didn't have to wait for Cesare to drop his shirt as he slowly opened it, letting him take in the sight before he slipped it off, letting it lay on the mattress with Benjamin's shirt as well. Leaning down he pressed their chests together, and he couldn't help but moan softly. "I think I'm getting a little heated as well," he admitted. He wanted this to still be cute. "Do you want to cool down with a swim?" The ocean was right there, wasn't it?

“Good.” He whispered back, grinning softly as he felt so much joy in this moment. He had not expected this a few days back. No he had expected to be moping around, utterly miserable. And now he was here. Warming the heart of the man he loved and feeling all this intimacy and love at the same time. “Am I?” He asked in the same volume as Cesare was using, though he could feel it. It was like the fast pounding of his heart spread the warm blood like never before. He agreed to get out of his shirt and he looked at him as he touched him all over. The cold hands made him sigh softly. “It’s all for you.” He muttered, pushing himself up on his elbows, just to keep his muscles tense for the vampyre. He watched him open his own shirt, seeing the beautiful pale skin underneath. He reached out to touch him, before their chests clashed, making Joe grit his teeth a little. “You’re stealing all my heat.” He muttered to argue with the vampyre’s confession but the suggestion was good. “Yeah, lets do it.” He muttered before he placed a soft kiss on his lips and got up. He quickly got out of his pants, and looked back at the vampyre with a slick smile. “I guess you’ll have to catch me.” He chuckled before he went off to head into the water. It was tempered, so it was fine. He figured that all the heat from the day had no where to go. Dipping under rather quick, he felt a little refreshed once he came back up.

He watched the human get up and get undressed, making him chuckle as he loved the dare. He got out of his own clothes, but he didn't seem to race after him. Instead he took his time watching how he dived under the surface, seeing his hair slicked back, before he eventually joined him. He came into the water, dipping his head under as well. Not because he needed to adjust his temperature, rather it was just easier to swim around when his wild hair wasn't sticking out everywhere. He felt almost nostalgic about their boat ride, but he wondered if Benjamin thought of it. He moved closer, touching him along his strong shoulders. "Have you forgiven me yet?" He asked in a soft voice just about loud enough for the human to hear over the waves. "For those trips I kind of forced you to go with me on?" He had wondered about it a lot. Wondered if he was allowed to think of them fondly or if they were to be packed away and never spoken of. He wouldn't blame him if that was the case. "I mean most of the time you acted very miserable .. and I want to apologize for it .. I was just very excited to finally meet you in real life," he admitted, leaning in to kiss his shoulder gently. He didn't really have to worry much about staying afloat.

He turned when he felt the touch on his shoulders, reaching out to pull the vampyre in. The question made him frown a little confused but the elaboration made him sigh deeply as he did need to think about it. Had he forgiven the vampyre? Was he even angry about what had happened? “I think I was miserable because you were trying to show me something that I didnt feel ready to see.” He said, hoping that it made sense. He touched his sides, looking at him with a soft gaze. “I appreciate the apology. But it doesnt bother me. I’ve already moved past it. We had good moments too.” He pointed out before he pulled the vampyre in for a kiss. “Have you thought about it a lot?”

The human didn't hesitate to pull him in, and when they were in the water they could be pretty much eye to eye, which Cesare really appreciated. It gave him a calmness that he didn't feel often. He hummed, understanding the reasoning but it seemed that the human had in fact moved on from them. Even if there was bad there, there had also been times when he had felt a genuine connection, and he wasn't sure he was ready to part with those memories. The kiss was soothing, returning it gently as his hands touched the human under the water, the sea heating his skin up so he wasn't so cold to the touch. "I think I've worried about it more than I probably should have," he admitted with a soft sigh, closing his eyes as he just listened to the mix of Benjamin's breath and the waves. Opening his eyes he looked to the human he loved with kind eyes, "I'm good at worrying .. I suppose you'll get sick of my worries at some point, but please forgive me for them too." A warm smile spread on his lips.
He let go of the human, chuckling lightly, "we didn't get in here to just cling to each other .. let's do this properly," he urged him as he started to swim around, even splashing some water at him as he chuckled. It felt nice to just goof around, be silly and have fun. Not everything had to be about their clearly sexual connection. Cesare craved these things just as much as the sex, but perhaps that was just him after years of experience. Having a genuine connection to someone only made the reunion that much sweeter.

“I had a feeling it was like that.” He hummed, being rather able to imagine that the vampyre might even have been obsessing over the time they had spent together during that period. “I’ll try to disprove the worries I can.” He shrugged. Otherwise they’d just habe to find out how to handle them. It wasnt that big of a deal to the human. He was let go and he sighed softly at the urge. “Yeah you’re right.” He agreed before he swam as well to get his circulation going. If he didnt then he would freeze rather quick. He giggled when the vampyre splashed water on him, splashing some back in retaliation, but he also took some time to float around and just listen to the sea. That and his breathing that he heard more obviously when he had his ears under the water. “Come here.” He urged the vampyre and if he came closer, Joe would grab his hands. “Float with me.” He urged him, holding onto his hand, hoping that the vampyre would follow. Of course he made sure that they werent floating off into the deep sea. “Otters do this. When they float they hold on to each other so no one gets lost.” He said with a soft chuckle, glancing at the vampyre before looking up at the sky again. It was very pretty.

They fooled around for a bit, splashing water, but also each of them seemed to just settle into just floating or swimming. As his hand was taken he looked a bit surprised but did as he asked him to. The explanation made him chuckle as well, humming as he found that fact rather cute. "You do know you just got yourself a new nickname, right otter?" Wasn't that a cute nickname? It was at least unique, and perhaps pertained to the fact that they didn't want to ever drift apart. Now that he thought about it, it was actually rather fitting. The night sky above them looked so wonderful, and he felt really relaxed right here, giving his hand a soft squeeze every now and again. "The water's getting cold .. should we head back up?"
When they eventually did head up to the beach once more, he didn't even care about the water, just squeezing it out of his hair before he walked back up to the makeshift bed. He went inside, grabbing some towels along with a nice blanket that the human could warm himself under. He looked to his love as he handed him a towel before drying himself off. Once he was done he went to the human, cupping his face with one hand as the other helped him remove a few droplets. Leaning in he kissed him, grasping lightly at his hips. Though his kisses were more controlled, almost as if he was holding back.

“Oh please dont call me otter.” He groaned in a plea but it was alright. It was their thing. “At least not around other people.” He then added if the vampyre had made up his mind. Joe did eventually get cold, especially as they just floated around, holding onto each other. He didnt really mind. “Yeah in a bit.” He agreed, closing his eyes as he exhaled. He could feel the tremble in his breath and it wasnt long after that he moved for them to head back. He shook the water out of his hair on the way up, letting the vampyre handle the towels, though he was sure he had seen them when he had been looking for clothes. He thanked him for the towel before he dried off, ruffling up his hair as the last part. He had to get out of his underwear but the blanket could cover him on the bed. He wrapped the towel around his waist when the vampyre approached him. It was odd that the vampyre almost felt warm in his touch but he didnt think much before they kissed. He noticed that the kiss was different and pulled away slightly. “Are you alright?” He asked, looking up at the man he had come to care for.
Before the vampyre could really answer, did he reach down to pull him back to the bed. He laid back down and pulled him with him. “Hold me, I’m so cold.” He complained softly, and if the vampyre did that, he would rest his head up against his shoulder, holding onto him. He did shiver a little but it was more the wind than the vampyre.

It was cute that he checked in on him but Cesare nodded with a smile, ""e're still on a date," he admitted. Was it bad that he was holding back? He just didn't want to go against the rules set in place, and he had this need for him. Especially as this would be the last night they could really stay here. While he wanted to be selfish and indulge, he also didn't want to tucker him out too much. Though he was quickly pulled back on the bed, the complain making him chuckle, "You've picked the wrong guy for a boyfriend if you wanted heat," he reminded him, though he did press a switch that made a terrace heater turn on above them. Hopefully that would help a little.
His hands were carefully running up and down his arm as he held him. "I really liked going away like this .. I know you said you didn't want to be spoiled, but sometimes I really need to get away too," he admitted, closing his eyes as he smiled a little to himself. Just laying here, feeling the man by his side, hearing the ocean and just the light wind blowing over. "I'm really trying to fight touching you all over," he scoffed, referring back to his admittance earlier. "Would that be against date rules?"

He hummed softly at the mention of the fact that this was still their second date. It was actually quite sweet how the vampyre kept that in mind before he just began initiating things. It made Joe feel appreciated in a different way. Being back on the bed, he hummed at the reminder, but shook his head. “I’m a human. Skin to skin can do wonders, even if it’s cold.” He just reminded him instead, smiling softly. He did like the heater above. It would be tiring in the long run to warm them both.
He closed his eyes and listened to the vampyre’s breath, even if he didnt need to breathe. It was interesting that he could. “You can take me places and not spoil me. Like eating at that restaurant.” He remarked with a relaxed sigh. The confession made him open his eyes to look up at the vampyre. A soft grin spread on his lips at the question. He motioned for Cesare to come closer like he would reveal a big secret. “I dont really have rules for the second date.” He whispered in his ear before leaning away to touch his face. It was pretty much a green light that the vampyre didnt need to hold back anymore.

"So we can go back to the restaurant another time?" He asked with a smile on his lips. He wouldn't mind that one bit. Even if eating could be tedious, it felt so natural when he was around Benjamin. After his confession he could hear how he smiled, turning his head he opened his eyes, chuckling softly as he looked at him. He moved closer at his motion, he heard the whisper loud and clear. It was clear a shiver ran through Cesare's body at that notion, his lips pulling up in a charming smile. "Are you telling me my boyfriend puts out on the second date?" It was clear he liked the sound of that. He turned on his side, leaning into kiss his lips, not really holding back this time. Not as in he was devouring his lips, but he was clearly showing himself more. Grasping lightly at his naked skin he sighed, feeling the heater above aiding that warmth.
"I've been dying inside all day," he admitted, against his lips, kissing him around his face and down his neck. He just clearly wanted to sample every part of his skin. "You have looked so inviting .. I almost pushed the table aside at the restaurant just to kiss you," Cesare hadn't felt this sort of desire before. It was almost maddening but in all the good ways possible. Nuzzling his nose into his skin he breathed him in. Even his scent smelled good. Licking his skin softly, he tasted the salty water, humming softly, "and I felt so proud .. because you held my hand walking around town." Was that strange to say? "It really felt like you were showing me off .. even if you weren't .. it meant a lot to me."

They could definitely go. Joe nodded approvingly to it. “You were right about the steak after all.” He reminded him, smiling softly. If the steak was good, then it was just about ruling out the other dishes as well. And the location was pretty. Joe had really liked it.
The question to his whisper made Joe scoff. “If I’m charmed then yeah.” He admitted with a shrug. It wasnt quite often so the vampyre didnt have to worry. Cesare turned and Joe looked at him before their lips met, and this time it didnt feel different like before when the vampyre held back. The confession made Joe’s hairs on his neck stand up, feeling the goosebumps spread over his shoulders and into his arms. “Yeah?” He urged to hear more. He stretched his neck for him, humming happily at the way the kisses made him feel. Could he ever get tired of them? “You could have stolen a kiss or two. I wouldnt have told you off.” He muttered. But the vampyre had been quite respectful.
The notion of liking the hand holding made half a smile spread on Joe’s lips. “I was showing you off.” He said, looking down at the vampyre, switching between his eyes if he looked back. He reached down to touch his face, run his thumb over his lip. He just took him in before he sighed. “I need a drink, I’m getting dehydrated.” He had to admit before he let him go. “I’ll just get some water and then I’ll be back.” He assured him before he got up to get his drink. He fetched a glass of water and drank it, gulping it down so he wouldnt feel so dry. The saltwater also made him feel just a little sticky. But it wasnt bad. He stood in his own thoughts, opting to get some more. But as clumsy as he was, did he mindlessly hit the glass on the tap, breaking it into pieces. He grit his teeth and felt a sharp pain in his hand. He pulled out a shard from his finger, the hand shaking from the pain of the glass stabbing him. “Fuck.” He grunted in pain, grabbing some papertowel to clump up into his hand. That was when he realized he had a fair few more shards in his hand and it hurt. If the vampyre came inside, he would see a fair bit of blood down Joe’s arm, a small bit on the table and some being soaked up by the clump of paper. “I’m sorry, I wasnt thinking.” He scoffed at himself.

"Fine, I'll release you for now .. but if you're not back soon I'm going to come get you," he warned him, stealing a small kiss before he watched him get up and move inside. He didn't really mind waiting for him, just looking up at the stars with a goofy smile on his lips. However that was when he heard the glass shatter. He got up, moving into the small house quickly and as he came out into the kitchen the scene was pretty clear. He shook his head at the apology, walking to him and taking his hand. He removed the paper towel, "it needs to be washed," he just said, guiding him to the sink, turning on the cold water. He didn't care about the broken glass, and it was clear that he only cared for Benjamin to be alright. The strange thing was that he could smell how inviting that the human's blood was, and yet he didn't even think about sinking his teeth into him.
Washing it out he went and grabbed a small tweezer from the bathroom while he let the human stay with the cold water. Returning once more he checked the cut, removing each piece of glass carefully, just letting it drop into the sink. The vampyre could clean that up later. "Tell me if it hurts too bad, alright," he encouraged him, "or if you start to feel dizzy." Luckily the cold water would make the blood slow down, though it would still look like a lot because it was diluted with water. He managed to get the shards out pretty easily, but the hand probably needed a bit of stitching. "I might have a sewing kit .. here, hold this," he said, passing him a clean paper towel for him to hold, "go sit in the chair, I'll be right back." Kissing his forehead he went to the bathroom again, looking through the drawers and smiled as he found a first aid kit. At least his former self had been smart enough to get it. "There we go," he said, coming back out to him, setting everything up.

It wasnt very pleasant but if he just didnt move his hand then there would be no issue. Except the blood slowly flowing out of his hand of course. Cesare came to his aid and he felt a little bad because it was blood and the man he loved was a vampyre. So the apology wasnt just for being clumsy. It was odd how his own blood was making him a little queasy with the smell. He let the vampyre help him clean it out, gritting his teeth as it wasnt pleasant. He grunted when the pieces where pulled, gritting his teeth. "I'll let you know." he assured him, before he inhaled sharply, looking at it but then needing to look away before he really would feel dizzy. He grabbed the paper towel, squeezing it to apply pressure on the cuts and keep them closed. He went to the vampyre when he heard the kit open, sitting down with a deep sigh. "I'm really sorry." he muttered, feeling like he had screwed up. If the vampyre began stitching, he would complain softly in pain but bite it down by clenching his jaw.

"Why do you keep apologizing?" He asked, wanting to distract the human from the fact that he was sewing the cut neatly. He was good at it too, and it ended up not being too many stitched after all. Cesare cleaned the area before putting a patch over the stitches to keep them and the still aching cut covered and safe. Packing it away he then went to clean the kitchen, taking great care with the shards of glass, putting them in a piece of cloth before putting it in with the recycling. When everything was cleaned and good he grabbed some pain killers and a new glass of water, coming over to the human he loved so much, handing him the pills first and then the water.
"Are you alright?" He asked, sitting down on his knees in front of the human. Cesare just looked at him, his hands resting on the human's thighs as he simply looked at him. He adored him so much, but that was pretty clear to see. "I guess the mood is gone, huh?" He chuckled softly, rubbing his thighs gently.

"Because it's blood." he pointed out. Wasnt it rude? Just a little bit? He looked away from the stitching, drawing in a few deep breaths. He was lucky that Cesare knew what he was doing and it was over sooner than he had expected. He took a moment to calm his pounding heart when he was left with the patch. When Cesare returned, he thanked him for the painkillers and drank the water. He nodded at the question and looked at the vampyre with a thankful soft gaze. The chuckle made him frown a little as he looked down. "I ruined it." he sighed, shaking his head at himself. "I was too excited thinking about it..." he sighed, because it was rather silly now that he had been so distracted by his own thoughts and now? It felt bittersweet.
