The confession made him look at the vampyre rather curiously before he hummed. “It makes sense.” He said, looking at the vampyre for a moment before looking away again. The question about the former human’s change felt a little bitter. Maybe because Mark knew that he didnt want to be that way. That he would rather still be a human most probably. “Well we were really close back then.” He shrugged. “Have you not seen him?” He asked, frowning a little as he was expecting a yes. If he didnt get one, then he would start to wonder for why it could be like that. “If he’s doing bad, then maybe he’s doing it to be reminded of the past and how he was back then. Maybe you remind him too much of all the new he had to adjust to.” He pondered. Did it make sense? He at least thought so. He checked his phone to see that they werent far off now. He was trying not to piss off the vampyre like Sadie had warned him against.

Cesare swallowed his pride as he kept his eyes on the road, "I saw him mostly after his transformation," he admitted, feeling a lump in his throat. "We fought most of the time because he refused to eat, and a daemon not eating is .. you know, " he wouldn't say killer machine, but they could and wpuld do anything to get what they needed. He sighed, "he came to see me before he left .. we made up and I wanted to give him the space to find himself again." Because that was what Benjamin had said he needed. And who was the vampyre to judge what he did or didn't need. However the human's words made him frown. He hadn't thought about that. Did that make him selfish?
He didn't reply and as rhey arrived he parked the car. Looking towards the location he wasn't sure it was wise to see him. "If he asks me to leave, then I won't go against him," he admitted before getting out of the car. He looked around as he locked the car, stepping away to get a better look.

Mark just listened hummed, though it became more apparent that the vampyre wasnt just a friend to Benjamin, Mark was still interested in hearing what he had to say. He still pointed out the fact that it maybe was harder to be around Cesare for Benjamin if the vampyre was some sort of representation of all that was new. But thr vampyre didnt reply, so Mark did wonder whether he had overstepped. They arrived and he got out of the car too, frowning as it looked… interesting to say the least. Very ordinary house, in a small town outside Churchill. He nodded for Cesare to follow as he walked up to the door, looking at the number and the text. “This feels weird.” He muttered before he knocked on the door. The lady that answered was a little older, but rather clearly a daemon. “Yes?” She looked from one to the other. “Uhhh. Is Benjamin Harris here?” Mark asked. The daemoness looked at him. “Who’s asking?” - “His uhm… childhood friend and…” he looked to Cesare, not wanting to be the one that defined them. He even showed her the message. “Come in. He isnt home right now but he will be when he has done his errands with my grandchild.”

They walked up to the house, and he wondered why the human felt this was odd. Had he picked up on something dangerous that they should be aware of? Either way it seemed that he rang the bell and as the elder daemon appeared, Cesare just stood there politely until he was addressed. "Someone who cares about his well being - as well as the safety of his friends," he just made it clear that he was basically there to safeguard the human present. They were let in and Cesare looked around, complimenting the house at they were lead into a very nice living room. "Does your grandchild live with you then?" He struck up conversation which was relatively easy with his charisma. "I mean it's an awfully big house to live in alone," he chuckled, almost relaxed, but he wasn't afraid of a daemon. He had faced worse in his time.
There was quite a lot of painted art on the walls, and Cesare had to admit he was rather impressed by it. The way the bodies were captures, the lighting of it all. Safe to say he hadn't seen such talent for many years. "The paintings are quite unlike anything I've seen before," he complimented them, walking closer to one inspecting it with a careful eye. Whoever painted this had a keen eye for details, that was for sure. "These are very beautiful; Did you paint them per chance?"

They were let in though the vampyre's answer had been rather peculiar. The elder daemoness only took note of it as she led them through her roomy home. The compliments made her chuckle softly before the question made her shrug. "She has a room here if that's what you're asking. But I'm sure she prefers her apartment in Churchill more than her old grandmother's home." she explained, sending the vampyre a warm smile. Mark was looking around as well on all the art. There was a lot of it, but it didnt look bad in the slightest; No it was quite interesting to look at.
She sat down in a nice chair, gesturing for them to do the same. She did notice how the vampyre was inspecting the paintings. "Save the compliments for my granddaughter. But if I know her just right, she'll roll her eyes like she doesnt quite believe you but still say her thanks." she chuckled. She leaned back into her chair before she folded her hands. "My home is big for a reason. I guess it wouldnt be surprising to say that I'm willing to help struggling daemons, especially the ones that were once... mortal." she explained before Mark frowned lightly. "How did you know that Benjamin needed help?" - "Oh, I found him where I find most of his kind, out looking for vials yet not knowing where to go or even how to make the order."

Cesare chuckled softly at the remark about her granddaughter rolling her eyes. She sounded like a peculiar woman then, but he supposed so was the grandmother here. He was offered a seat, and he felt complied to do so, sitting down rather effortlessly, listening to her explaining as he chuckled, "It sounds like we are much in the same business then." Although it was clear he dealt with vampyres instead, as that was his expertise. "Also, I seem to have forgotten my manners; I am Cesare, and this is Mark," he introduced them rather politely. He thought it only fair that this woman knew their names after having let them into her home of all places.
"Do you find many strays?" He found that was a term commonly used about those turned that struggled adjusting. It wasn't derogatory in the slightest. Taking a deep breath he looked back to the paintings as he could hear someone entering the front door. He felt his nerves on his sleeves as he straightened his back a little. He wasn't sure why, but he was awfully nervous.

Lily chuckled as she opened the door, "Nona, we're back!" She called kicking off her shoes as she was hauling a few bags, some of her own art supply and some of the stuff they were asked to get. "Oh, shit, can you get the door Joey?" She sent him an apologetic smile before sticking out her tongue at him. She was a trickster for sure, but she had a feeling that he liked that about her. Heading to the kitchen first she put the vials in the fridge before coming into the living room, not really realizing they weren't along. "I got you new medicine, but please take them this time around and don't let it get green and moldy again," she said, leaning down to kiss her cheek before her eyes fell on the human and the vampyre. Frowning she straightened back up. "I didn't know you were expecting visitors," she said, tilting her head as she looked at the two, sending them both a rather charming smile, "you could at least have given me a heads up when they're this good looking."

"Oh. That's quite delightful to know. I do see many vampyres out there who could use a guiding hand." she remarked with a soft smile, but it wasnt like daemons were any better. She could however help daemons better than vampyres. Mark couldnt really contribute to the conversation so he remained quiet and followed the conversation. The vampyre pointed out their lack of manners and the old lady chuckled. "Dont worry about it. I'm Louis." she nodded, having realized that she hadnt even introduced herself. She hummed at the question and nodded. "Even more after all the portals." she pointed out with a saddened frown. The door opened and she turned her attention.

Joe was right behind Lily, helping with a few bags, but the art supplies had definitely been a detour. He seemingly hadnt minded though. He held the door for her before he followed, helping with the unpacking and putting away before he washed his hands and looked at a vial that he had to down. But he had had a fine day today so he kind of did that with ease while Lily went ahead. Her remark about the visitors however made him frown lightly before he realized. Though the notion that there were more was a little surprising to him. Had Mark brought someone along? He went to the living room before he saw the both of them. He frowned a little at the sight of Cesare but then his eyes softened up and he smiled a little. "Oh. That's surprising." he chuckled, before he looked to Louis and Lily. "Uh... This is my childhood friend that I've told you about... And uh... my boyfriend... who I also told you about." he explained, though he clearly hadnt expected to introduce the latter. Louis hummed and leaned closer to really look at Cesare. "Ah, the boyfriend. You've been one of the main topics for Joe to open up about. Or should I say that Lily has been more than generous with her questions." Louis smiled.

Cesare had been prepared to just be introduced as a friend too, but hearing him call him his boyfriend made him feel so proud, his face softening up in a genuine smile. Had he really spoken about him? "I hope I'm not intruding," he said, looking directly at Benjamin, mostly because that was for him to decide. He would leave if that was what he wanted, but he was genuinely just so happy to see him. In fact his fingers felt like they were itching just to reach out and touch him. If Benjamin was about to say something, Lily just shook her head and smiled at the two visitors, "not at all," she said with a soft chuckle, leaning a little closer to the daemon beside her, "you hit the jackpot on that one." A slight tease, but coming from Lily it meant something.
"I either case I was not the one invited here," Cesare smiled, some sadness in his eyes but he hoped he had it hid well enough. "You must be the mastermind behind these paintings then," he gestured to the walls making Lily roll her eyes just as her grandmother had said she would. "Yes, but I have many more better ones up in my room," turning to look at Benjamin with her signature trickster smile, "would you mind me showing him some of my art?" - "I promise I'll behave." Though she hadn't forgotten about the other guy whom she hoped was single from the looks of it. For a human he was actually kinda cute. Before Cesare really had a choice he was being dragged up the stairs, Lily blabbering on about her art, and how Benjamin thought it was weird how she worked naked sometimes - clearly not minding spilling all of the details. Cesare shot Benjamin an apologetic look, but he seemingly had no real choice here.

Was he intruding? Maybe a little, but before Joe could even answer was Lily a step ahead. Not that Joe actually found the vampyre's presence intruding. He had missed him quite a lot. Her quiet remark made him give her a look to cut it off already. Though now that he was getting to know the daemoness, he knew that she wasnt saying those words lightly. Cesare saying that he wasnt invited here made Joe look a little sad. Louis however hummed and nodded. "Well Benjamin, or Joe as he has asked us to call him here was told to invite his friend from his former life." she clarified as she wasnt blind to what the vampyre had been trying to hide.
The conversation switched to the paintings and Louis seemed rather amused as Lily behaved as predicted. "Yeah sure, you can do that." Louis just answered and gestured for them to go. She could see that the vampyre would serve as a distraction to the young daemon and she couldnt have that now, regardless of how glad they both seemed to see each other. Lily made the right call. They were left alone and she gestured for Joe to go on ahead. The two friends quickly began talking and ended up going outside in the garden.

Lily was eagerly showing him around the house which was a fairly nice size. He could understand that it would be optimal to take in stray daemons of any kind really. It seemed like a pretty good area as well, not too close to the city and its temptations. Cesare was shown to her room that was fairly large, but it was also perhaps because she painted in here. The floor was covered in plastic and paper to not ruin the floors, and the large windows overlooked a rather well kept garden. This was suburban bliss, wasn't it? Cesare smiled as he looked out, seeing Benjamin walking and talking with Mark made him feel a little better. And perhaps a little worse too. He felt guilty for coming along to begin with. Maybe it had been better if Sadie had come here? Or anyone but him?
He wasn't sure, and he couldn't think much of it as he was shown Lily's latest works. They were all masterfully capturing the physique and posture of living beings and she hummed a little as she looked at him. "Perhaps I could paint you some time?" She pondered, looking at him, his nicely framed face and wild hair, "it would be cool to try and capture the fibers in your hair, with the light and how fluffy it is." She was clearly more or less just talking to herself and Cesare chuckled softly. She eventually showed him around, letting him see the different rooms that weren't occupied. They then reached a door and Lily nodded towards it. At first the vampyre didn't catch on, but the scent coming from the room he could recognize anywhere. This was Benjamin's room.
Opening the door he just looked inside, seeing some work out equipment and a small desk with some sort of contraption on it that he was no doubt tinkering with. However he didn't step inside. It was like this was what his role was right now, he was to stay just outside looking in, and that was what Benjamin needed from him. "He's mentioned you a lot," she just said in a more calm manner. She did have her moments like that. "Things take time, but he's really doing good these days," she had worked a lot with him. Mostly because she was still young and had some things she needed to learn as well. Cesare just hummed, closing the door once more before Lily showed him down to the kitchen. She offered him a vial of blood and he thanked her, drinking it calmly as he had needed that. Washing out his mouth - a habit he had gained when Benjamin had been human - he just stood and chatted with the young daemoness for a while.

Joe was quite happy to be reunited with Mark again and they were talking about everything, from what had changed since they parted and then also about the past. They however stuck to topics about the past that only seemed to wake a feeling of happy nostalgia. It wasnt really helpful to Joe to be reminiscing about the sad things that couldnt be changed. Mark told him about Sadie too and what he had seen when he stepped in. Joe chuckled softly but it also made him a little sad. He was missing out on things back home wasnt he? It was almost expected, but it didnt make it less hurtful to think of. Mark reached out and gave his shoulder a soft squeeze. "Dont let it put you down." he reminded him before he gave his cheek a soft tap with his palm, like they always had as kids.
Joe pushed his arm away before he shook his head and scoffed. "It's my sister. I have a lot to catch up on." he then just said and Mark shrugged, making a point that his progress was just as important. They talked for a bit after that before they eventually ventured inside. Louis asked Mark to sit which was a little odd but Joe looked at her and then he smiled a little as he quite understood what she was doing. He moved out into the kitchen, reaching over to grab the Cesare's hand. "Thanks for keeping him busy. But I would like to talk to him too now that he has come to see me." he said, sending Lily an apologetic look before he looked at the vampyre and nodded for him to follow.

Lily faked being hurt, placing a hand over her heart and gasping before she chuckled, "alright, but don't send him away before I got the chance to say goodbye too." She was quite serious about that, but not too worried as she went to the living room where her grandmother was, leaving them basically the whole house and garden to themselves. Cesare hummed, just following Benjamin, holding his hand and generally just relishing in being a little close to him. "I'm sorry for intruding," he just repeated his apology, knowing he might've overstepped. "Mark didn't feel safe going alone and Sadie was too busy," he explained himself a little, though he wasn't trying to excuse his actions. He had come here because he was selfish too.
He stopped them in the hallway, "do I remind you of all the bad things that has happened to you since meeting me?" He then asked, looking at him woth serious eyes. What Mark had mentioned in the car had really made the vampyre worry. "You can be honest with me," he said, giving his hand a soft squeeze.

Mark was quite talkative, even greeting Lily as she entered. Louis was quite amused with this, leaning her head into her hand as her elbow pressed down on the armrest. She was asking him all sorts of questions, about his time abroad and how he was faring with it. All in all was the elder daemoness quite nice, though many wouldnt think so from her stern facade.

Joe listened to the explanation but he didnt mind it too much. "I guess I was rather vague in the message." he nodded. It could have been not safe for Mark, but luckily was Joe in pretty good hands, so he wouldnt have been able to harm the human. He was stopped by the vampyre and turned to be faced with a question that caught him a little off guard. "Uhh?" he frowned a little before the vampyre assured him that he could be honest. "You... dont?" he answered, like it was supposed to be a given. He looked down at their hands before he entangled their fingers. "I just. -I felt really bad for how I treated you before I left." - "You were just trying to help me with all of it and I didnt feel fair for getting so angry, even if I couldnt control it." he then pulled for the vampyre to follow him out into the garden. It was just more private out there, even if the others werent listening.

He didn't? He then felt more confused as to why it had taken this long for him to even see him. Not even a picture had been sent or a voice message. Only text, and frankly he had missed his voice so much. He listened to the daemon's regrets, and he followed him out, thankful that there was a shady path to walk on. "You weren't ready for help then - I think I pushed too much," he said rather seriously, because looking back he had maybe just been a bit too quit to help. He had just felt so guilty. Benjamin had changed because of him, so maybe what they had had changed? He wasn't really sure what to think anymore. "I'm just really happy to see you," he admitted in a soft mutter, turning his head to look at him. He loved him. And all he really wanted to see was Benjamin happy again.
They walked amongst flowers and bushes, he wondered if had he been a kid he would think this garden would go on forever. Maybe a whole new world could pop up amongst the tulips or a kingdom being invaded by the rosemary. He sighed, feeling silly thinking of something such as that. "How are you keeping?"

"Yeah, maybe I wasnt." he shrugged. He wasnt really sure what had pushed him to be so aggressive but maybe he would think of it while he was staying here. The confession made him chuckle softly. "Yeah, me too." he said, giving the cold hand a soft squeeze. They continued their walk and Joe thought a little about what he wanted to say. It had been a fair few days since he left and a lot had almost happened in the meantime. He wasnt even sure where to begin when the vampyre asked. "I have good days. Like today. And then there are the bad days. Which you probably know too well already." he said, frowning at the end of the last sentence. He looked at a few flowers before he sighed. "I'm sorry that I havent been the best at keeping up. But Louis thought that you would be distracting me from my focus... Which isnt really fair to you." he explained before he sighed. "I have been warming her up to the idea of inviting you over soon. But you were already one step ahead of me." he smiled. He moved them over to sit under a big tree that had a nice view over all the flowers surrounding them. He wouldnt really let go of the vampyre's hand. "She told me to invite Mark over, because in her mind, it would be good to connect with the parts of my past that brought joy." he said, hoping that explained why he had only invited the human over. "She wanted the past to be worked through before we move on to the present and my new life." he lifted the vampyre's hand and kissed the back of it gently.

He would be distracting? Well Cesare couldn't argue with that. He knew that this was important not just to Benjamin but the two of them. If they were to be a couple and continue what they had, then they both needed to work things through. The notion of him being ahead made him chuckle, "you can't just send someone your address and not expect me to find out about it," he warned him in a soft tease. They moved over to sit under the large tree, wrapping his arm around him and yet still letting him hold the other hand. He just wanted to hold him close for the time he had him. What Louis had explained to him made a lot of sense, working on your traumas first before tackling the issues right now.
Feeling the warm lips against his hand made him sigh, closing his eyes as he felt a soft shiver run down his spine. That was a sensation he hadn't felt in a while. "I suppose I should feel flattered then," he hummed, pulling him gently closer, leaning his head down to kiss his head, breathing his scent in and just taking a moment to be here with him. "If I'm not in your past, then I must be in your future," he chuckled lightheartedly, though it was a deep wish from the vampyre's side. "I only have a request now," he leaned away, letting go of the hand he was holding, moving it up to cup his face, "I could really use a kiss from my boyfriend .. as well as the biggest hug." He felt quite vulnerable admitting to it, but he just had to have him close.

The tease made him chuckle as he softly poked the vampyre with his shoulder. "Admitting your obsession?" he teased him with a soft grin. He didnt mind that the vampyre wrapped his arm around him but he wouldnt let go of his hand even if they sat close. He wanted to explain the situation as well to the vampyre as possible. At least to soothe some worries, or the hurt that he wasnt sure whether the vampyre felt or not. Martin's warning hadnt go unheard, even if Cesare had agreed to Joe going away. The lighthearted chuckle made Joe look at him a little serious. "Of course. You're my motivation." he said, very serious of that statement as well.
Cesare leaned away and Joe looked at him, frowning a little curiously at the notion of a request. "Hm?" he hummed, feeling the now tempered hand touch his warm face. The request was made and Joe smiled before he leaned in to softy connect their lips in a small kiss before leaning in to a more tender one as a follow up. He wrapped his arms around him and pulled him a little closer.
He leaned away after a bit, looking at the vampyre with a smile before he felt like he had to get something else off his chest as well. "Uh.. I do have to warn you." he said, his smile fading a little before he leaned closer, placing his head on Cesare's shoulder. "Louis said that I'm most definitely not like any other reborn. She has a sneaking suspicion that I'm pureblood." he admitted before he drew in a deep breath. "She thinks that I'm only able to hold onto the humanity I had when I was a human because the memories are still there. But as they fade...." he shut up as he hoped that the vampyre could connect the dots on his own.

The gentle peck had been more than he could've hoped for, but as he leaned in again he pressed him closer, gladly reciprocating the kiss. He just held him, hugging him even if they weren't kissing. Being close to Benjamin meant everything to him right now, however as the smile faded he worried once more. But he decided to hear him out. It was a lot to take in. That he wasn't like other turned daemons? Well it would make sense with the strength he had shown, but it still did not make much sense. However then the daemon said something that disturbed him deeply, kissing his forehead gently. Pressing his nose into his hairline he just sat there for a while. "I won't let you forget your humanity," he whispered in a soft and tender voice. Pulling away he cupped his face, looking into his eyes being fully serious. "No matter what happens I'll be here for you .. I'll be here, and I'll love you like I've always done," it was quite a promise to make, or rather it was more akin to a vow.
"I love you Benjamin," he whispered softly, "I love you and I would do anything for your happiness." As if he hadn't already proved that by letting the daemon go find himself in all of this. He wasn't making demands, he was barely contacting him unless you counted those nights where he could rest and he hugged the cube so close he was afraid of breaking it. "And when you are ready then I'll come and pick you up, steal you away on our third date and we'll live in the present together."

It was good that Cesare could be the hopeful one of them. Or rather, it warmed his heart to hear the man he loved straight up vow to be there for him. He felt his eyes well up a little, chuckling at his own reaction as he sniffled. "Thank you." he whispered, looking rather thankful and genuinely happy. "I love you too." he whispered in a shaky tone from all the emotions inside of him, hugging the vampyre closer yet. "I hope it's not the love struck fool in me that really thinks that you make me a better version of myself." he sighed, breathing in the vampyre by his shoulder, closing his eyes. "A third date is a pretty good goal to work towards. If I do get too impatient, I'll make you steal me away anyway." he muttered the last part to sort of loosen up how serious it had all been. Though if anyone were to steal him away, then he wanted it to be Cesare. "How are you doing back home? You smell like cigarettes. I know because I'm not allowed to have them here." he asked, turning his head to softly kiss the vampyre's neck while he waited for an answer.

"I would hope I have at least some positive effect on you," he chuckled, though he also wanted to better himself. He had even started delegating out the vast amount of work he had. Not all of it of course, but slowly preparing for if and when Benjamin would return to him. He wanted to have the space to be with him then. "Besides we do have a wedding to go to before that, and I'm in terrible need of a partner who'll want to go with me," a gentle tease, and perhaps also him fishing for wanting to know if he would come. Sadie had been working so hard, and Martin had turned out to be quite the groomzilla.
The conversation turned onto him, feeling the kisses against his neck he grasped a little at his clothes, perhaps because it had been so long since he had been touched like this. He felt almost overwhelmed, but in a good way. "I've been missing your lips .. your room back at the apartment doesn't even smell like you anymore," did it make him weak to admit that he had snuck in there when he could, just sitting with something that reminded him of the one he loved? It was pretty selfish. But he also hadn't been able to help himself when he was over helping Sadie and Martin anyways. "I'm slowly getting there in terms of organizing everyone .. I've been working a lot, trying to stay busy as it helps the days pass," maybe it wasn't really what Benjamin wanted to hear, but he would get it anyways. He couldn't sit here and lie to him either way. "Sadie thinks she's finally found a date, so she probably wants an address she can send the invitation to you to," he smiled softly, "we went out and tried on dresses yesterday, and before you asked yes I was put into one, and yes I looked fabulous." Taking a deep breath he hummed softly if the lips were still stamping kisses on his neck. He told him about the dresses that Sadie had tried on, even showing some pictures on his phone, urging him to state his opinions so he could pass it on to his sister.
"Why aren't you allowed cigarettes?" He then asked, assuming it had something to do with the nicotine being addictive and that causing irritation.

The vampyre's effect was rather positive, so there was no need for hope. The mention of the wedding made Joe's eyes soften up a little as he hummed. "I guess I'll have to clear my schedule so I'll be your date. Cant have you looking for a replacement." he shook his head, even if he didnt really believe that the vampyre would even consider that. It was a light tease.
It felt good that the vampyre grasped at him. It at least motivated him to just continue. He listened to him before he breathed out on his neck, humming softly. "I'm sorry. But I dont think it would have held much either, when you made me stay at yours after my change." he remarked. He could imagine that the vampyre's place had a better chance at holding his scent. Though both probably had been aired out enough to not hold a proper trace.
He listened to him, appreciating how honest the vampyre was, even if he wasnt sure that the notion of working a lot was a comfort. "Mark did pass a message about that." he muttered, though his lips pulled up into a smile as Cesare spoke about dresses. Maybe a bit of a sad smile that he was missing it. "A dress?" he repeated, blinking a few times as he seemed to realize. He chuckled and scoffed. "Only you would be crazy enough to try on a wedding dress." he continued to kiss his neck here and there, breathing him in when he was pressing the kisses onto the cold skin that was slowly warming up.
He turned his head as he was presented with some pictures, gasping softly, leaning up to reward the vampyre's jaw and cheek with some small pecks of gratitude before he looked at each and every picture. The question about the cigarettes made him look up at the vampyre before he moved his hand to play a little with the vampyre's shirt, feeling the fabric. "Uh, it's kind of simple. My brain is still wired to believe it gives some sort of relief, so the placebo make me not feel hunger that well." he said, scoffing as it was silly. "Once I get the hunger under control, I'll be allowed to smoke again. And I'm dying for that day to happen. Cigarettes and you of course." he said, chuckling as his list of wants were simple.

"Trust me it went away at the hotel faster, even if I wouldn't have them change the linen, they still did well in cleaning it," he sighed, because otherwise he would've stayed up there forever. Maybe it was deliberate that they cleaned it. He wasn't really angry about it, as the workers had just done their job. "But hopefully you'll rub off on me today so I can have that with me," he confessed, and while it might've been strange, he just felt the need to express it too. It wasn't just Benjamin he missed, it was all of him, his quirks and hobbies. How he would insist on getting up early the night before only to sleep in in his arms the next morning. It was how beautiful and serene he looked when he was asleep, and how vibrant and alive he was when he was awake.
"Well she felt rather insecure, so I found it only my duty to help her feel at ease," he smiled, showing the picture the last one was indeed of him in a beautiful floor length gown, a tiara in his messy hair. He was even pulling up at the lower seams to show that he was indeed also wearing heels. "She quickly forgot about her worries and tried on a lot, but those are just the ones that she liked," he said, letting the daemon flip through them once more. He truly wished he had some power to just make things go smoother on both ends, but Sadie was grieving that her brother wasn't there. She had even spoken about just postponing the wedding, but both Martin and Cesare had spoken to her about the fact that it was a specific date she had wanted, and you wouldn't get that again for the next couple hundreds of years. In the end she had just said that if her brother didn't show, then she would want a wedding just for him when he did. It would give her an excuse to wear the expensive wedding dress once more.
Being curious meant that sometimes you picked up on the small things. And as his love explained the situation he just hummed, moving a hand up to play lightly with his hair. It was getting a little long, but Cesare didn't mind it at all. He chuckled softly at the last notion, "well I'm quite honored that' I'm second on that list," he teased, kissing his forehead gently and then down his nose until he reached his lips. "I'm also dying to have you back .. I've already began planning our third date," he confessed, although he had planned that way back there were still a few things that needed to be in order, "and be warned, I'm going all out because of all the spoiling opportunities I've missed out on." Benjamin would have to grant him that at least.

The confession wasnt really weird at all. Joe did notice quite fast how the vampyre kept sniffing him, even if he was trying to be subtle about it most times. It was the times he hadnt been that had brought attention to it. “I can give you my shirt if that will make you feel better while it lasts.” He smiled, but he was also rather serious about it. He however chuckled and smiled at the last picture, leaning a little closer to look before he leaned back to stay close to the vampyre again. “Well she looks beautiful in all of then. So it’s more about which she is the most comfortable in wearing.” He said before he stopped at one that had long yet pretty sleeves tht went down and connected to her fingers. “I really like this one.” He said, handing the phone back to the vanpyre as he was quite settled on it.
He felt the vampyre play with his hair but didnt mind one bit. The tease made him chuckle softly. “Okay maybe my priorities arent exactly in order, but I’d choose you over a cigarette.” He assured him. Their lips connected in a soft kiss and the confession made him grasp a little at the vampyre. He was quite looking forward to it as well. “I guess I cant make any demands about spoiling when I’m not there to not be spoiled either.” He sighed, releasing the vampyre to press him closer again. He closed his eyes for a bit, just feeling the vampyre with innocent touches, breathing him in. “I miss you in every way there’s possible.” He confessed, feeling a little sad at the notion.

"I would actually like that," he admitted with a soft chuckle about the shirt. He hummed at the dress he picked out. It was very elegant, and for some reason Cesare found his choice rather funny. It was the most expensive one she had tried on. Though money mattered little, and as some surrogate father, he felt it was his responsibility to pay for the whole ordeal. "I'll promise to let her know your opinions; I'm sure she weights them in very high regard," he said, smiling at the thought. He could almost imagine her just picking this one simply because of her brother's input, but they would have to see. She did look stunning in it, so it wasn't a surprising pick, and Cesare would hire someone to fix her hair and make up - not that vampyres required such things, but it was traditions. Traditions that he couldn't seem to break with.
The notion of priorities just made him chuckle, because he was sure he wasn't low on the list, at least not from how the daemon was reacting right now. His heart was beating so wonderfully and hearing his breath made it all feel so good here in the shade. He felt how he was grasped at, pulled closer and generally just touched and it assured him that he was missed as much as he was promised he was. The confession made him smile, grasping softly at his hips, leaning his lips down to his ear, "would you have me ravish you here in the shade, my otter?" A seductive whisper, and yet he was not completely jesting. Sure, doing it right here wouldn't be appropriate, but he could imagine the fun they could have. He missed him too, missed hearing his moans and his need for him. That was what Cesare valued so highly. Kissing him below his ear, he knew that despite it all it might've been a tempting offer. "Best wait until the wedding .. I hear it's an optimal time for couples to hook up," though hooking up wasn't what he would define them as. They would make love, wouldn't they? And yet there was something enticing about getting to see one another soon enough. At least with a date to the wedding they would have something to look forward to. Kissing him along his neck he sighed, pulling him slightly closer, "I long for you too, dear," he finally admitted, "but it won't be too long."
