They had it coming

Romeo grit his teeth as his chest was touched, groaning softly as his nipples were played with. It had always been a rather sensitive spot for him. The lycan smiled as Eden spoke of enjoying the view, because that was what he had hoped to achieve. The vampyre meant everything to him, and feeling how he was actually liking this was a good sign. Moaning softly, he continued to push the toy in and out of himself and it was almost too easy now. The question made him hum. "Maybe a size up or two," he spoke softly, letting it remain inside of him as he reached for the night stand. He pulled out a slightly bigger toy, looking at Eden with a small grin, "mhmm not as big as you, but I guess I'll have to make due," he sighed, lubing it up after he had removed the smaller toy. It was clear to see that he was relaxed and slightly stretched. Eden would be able to fit already, or at least barely, but what fun was there in that? Wasn't it much more fun to watch how he was slowly stretched out?
Romeo slow inserted the toy, whimpering softly as it was a few sizes bigger than the other. Not by much, but enough so that he could feel it. When it was in he moaned softly, his hips bucking upwards as he was enjoying it quite a bit. Romeo liked being penetrated much more than jerking off. Sometimes he did wonder why, but regardless he didn't really think of it now. "Cazzo .. it doesn't feel cold enough," he muttered in sweet agony, continuing to push the toy in and out of himself. He loved how cold Eden was. Loved how their temperatures clashed so heavenly when they were connected. "Do you like seeing your husband prepare himself for you?" He had prepared himself a few times before, but most of them had only been with his fingers. This was different. And yet it felt like they could connect over trying something new like this after what had happened earlier.

Yeah it would only be temporary and it wouldn't have the same effect. It wouldn't feel the same as the cold flesh that Eden had. And it sure enough wouldn't be the right temperature either. Whimpering softly as his legs were spread open he smiled at the correction, gritting his teeth as his member was touched. It just felt so sensitive at this point. The questions made him gasp softly, bucking his hips to the soft rhythm he was pressing in and out of himself with. "Maybe I am soothing my own needs," he could play along on this. It was bratty enough that he could've thought of it, though this had been more of a way for Eden to see the lengths which Romeo would go to to show the vampyre a new side of him every time he had the chance. "Maybe I'm just waiting to see how much of this you can take before you have to have me to yourself," whimpering softly as he pressed the toy further inside of himself. It felt so intimate and yet Eden wasn't really doing much else than touching his skin. But it was enough. He could feel all of the vampyre's emotions, all of his needs and wants. He pulled the toy out, showcasing Eden just how open and loose he was right now, whining softly, but biting his lower lip to keep it down. Safe to say their sex life hadn't diminished since getting a child. In fact it had almost seemed to get better as they constantly were trying new things.

Romeo bit back a smile at the vampyre's grin. He knew him too well at this point, didn't he? The urge however made him hesitate a bit, but he ended up shaking his head no. He had done a lot of work on that front, but it was a cause of trauma to him still. "But .. I could do this," he didn't want to disappoint Eden - no he wanted to please him so very much - but they both knew their limits. He however lifted his legs, pulling his knees to his chest as he spread his cheeks apart. It was basically the same, and his entrance did pucker slightly, gaping still as it was clear he just longed to be filled up once more. "You can use the toy on me if you want to?" He suggested, smiling almost innocently as he clearly wanted to be filled in some way. It was just how he felt loved fully. Being filled by Eden was a declaration of love, it was how they connected on another level. "Per favore." He was panting softly as his cheeks were bright red in the dim light.

The lube was indeed cold, making the lycan shudder slightly at the sensation. Not that he worried about it being cold, he would heat it up soon enough, but he did as the vampyre instructed. Holding his legs he felt how Eden slowly started to penetrate him with the toy, making him whimper softly for every stroke. It seemed that his husband could always manage to find his sweet spot rather fast. "Ow," he muttered softly, gritting his teeth at the bite, but he hadn't thought that his skin had actually been pierced. At least not until it started to burn a little, "Baby, what are you doing?" He asked, releasing his legs as he felt how the paralyzing nature of Eden's bite take over. It hadn't been a deep bite, but the venom spread fast and Romeo's body sorta slumped down into the mattress, not really able to move. It wasn't a nice feeling, especially because he hadn't been prepared for it. He didn't mind Eden biting him and the paralyzing nature of his bite - at least not as long as he knew what to expect.

Was it strange that a part of Romeo felt a little betrayed? They had made a deal, a deal that he could bite him once they were alone, but that deal was broken. And Romeo wasn't really sure how to feel about it. Of course he couldn't be angry about the vampyre going with his nature, but this was just something more risky than if he had just been a normal human. Laying there, unable to move, he felt a little scared because he had seen how Eden had wiped away some blood. His blood; lycan blood. That fear of seeing Eden hospitalized again because of his blood was too much to handle. Soon enough he started to regain some control, moving a hand up and around his love. He couldn't really speak yet, it would come a little later, but for now he just held onto him, almost as if he was scanning the vampyre for any unpleasant feelings or something that would be out of the ordinary. The love he felt for Eden was immeasurable, but the fear of losing him was just as strong.

Romeo perhaps felt soothed by the fact that everything felt fine, but there was of course the worry that something could just come out of the blue and ruin everything. Being pulled into his arms he slowly came to himself. "How do you feel?" His voice a bit out of his own control, but then again it would be weird if it hadn't been. He touched the vampyre's back, touching him all over, scanning and feeling for something bad. Because something bad had to happen to them now that they were in a good place, right? How could it not! It was like that every time. Something good always had to be followed by something horrible, it was just what he had been conditioned to. "Are you alright?"

Killed the mood? Broken their agreement? Yeah, but Romeo still couldn't fault Eden for his instinctual urges. The vampyre had done so well in keeping it back. "I .. I guess if you had just asked me first," he said, but he wasn't angry. He was moreso hurt a little, because Eden knew what his bite could do. Sure, there was the explanation of it being in the moment, but was it really an excuse? "Not knowing what is going on is worse to some degree .. because if you had told me you couldn't wait, we could've figured it out too," he spoke softly, cupping the vampyre's face between his palms, turning around so the lycan laid on top of him, his knees on either side of his hips. "You can talk to me about vampyre things, just like I can talk to you about lycan things .. though I have to admit there has been a lot more lycan things since Amelia," he sighed softly, kissing his nose. It was true that the lustful mood was gone, but it didn't mean Romeo wasn't looking to stay in their intimate bubble and holding each other close. "Speak to me, my love, tell me what you need and I'll give it all to you, even if I'm worried, but at least involve me."

It was so clear to feel that blow to his pride, feel how he was trying to power through it. Had Romeo really neglected his needs so much? He felt rather valid in his worries, but did he worry too much? Had he lost his sense of invincibility that came with beign young? Maybe. Maybe this year with all of it's trials and tribulations had just gotten the better of him. But then Eden insisted of going out for a smoke, asking him to get off of him. He felt betrayed once more. The day today had been so hard for the both of them, and Romeo had just wanted something safe and a little excitement. He didn't even say anything as he got off Eden, packing their escapades together to go and clean them off in their bathroom. He felt so fucking hollow. But it was how it was going to feel when the vampyre didn't want him near. It felt like a heartbreak. The feeling of not being wanted hurting him more than it probably should've

It wasn't like they had had a lot of time preparing to be parents. But they hadn't had much time in preparing to be husbands, to be living together. Hell, it seemed like their life would always be lived at double pace. But Romeo liked it that way. There was no waste in time, and all he really wanted was to experience everything with Eden, so that when his time was up they had nothing left to achieve. He cleaned up, looking at the bite that was slowly healing. Even if it frustrated him, he still liked the sight of it. Maybe that was the most fucked up thing about it. Seeing his husband's teeth litter his body sounded like something quite honorable. But again, the lycan was scared of hurting the one he loved so dearly.
He got into some underwear, sighing as he felt how stretched out he was. It felt almost sad to acknowledge it. He went into the bedroom, seeing the spit with blood and decided just to change the sheets. It was easier. Taking them out to the bathroom he soaked the red spots, adding some cleaning product to it that would drive out the blood from the nice frabric. Afterwards he went to check on Amelia, but she was sleeping soundly, so he went out into the ktichen to grab something to drink. He had been panting a lot, and because of his emotions his throat felt even more dry

Romeo could almost smell the frustration when Eden entered the kitchen but the blank statement made him feel a pit in his stomach. And that made his thoughts spiral. "Okay," he spoke a little beside himself, unsure of what to do with himself. He just watched Eden, wondering if he was supposed to say anything. But was there really anything that could soothe him? Romeo just had that feeling of not being enough; the feeling that he was inadequate and it made his body tremble a little. The thoughts he had fought so hard to keep at bay came flooding back and he felt paralyzed in the moment, staring into the air with no purpose. Was this what they were now? Destined to hurt one another over and over? "Could .. could you bring me back a pack of cigarettes?" He wasn't even sure why he asked. Maybe because it was something he could control his hunger with. Maybe that would stop the aching pit that was slowly growing within it.

Romeo just broke down as soon as Eden left. Sitting on the kitchen floor, sobbing in silence as he was too afraid to make too much noise. And the pain in his chest? It felt like something was eating him from the inside out. It felt like the vampyre didn't like this life. Was he really so miserable in this? Romeo was having to adjust too, and he thought that Eden had understood the implications of adopting a kid. But it was clear that neither of them really knew what to do. Seeing as it was taking a while, he just felt his worry grow. Was this how things were going to be from now on? No! It couldn't be!
He eventually returned to the bedroom, drying off his cheeks as he sat on the bed. It felt so empty without his husband. Feeling his phone buzz on the nightstand he picked it up to see the message. The pit grew bigger.

[Romeo:] Just whatever you can get this time of night.

It felt cold. Why was it so cold? He knew why, but he couldn't wrap his mind around it, so he just sat on the side of the bed, staring into nothingness once more as he felt almost numb.

Romeo didn't really get to sleep much that night. He just stared into the emptiness of the room, feeling his eyes burn a little. And when morning came he felt like a zombie. He put on a mask to spare Amelia, pushing down his emotions so she would never get to feel that hurt. She didn't deserve it. Amelia was already awake when he came to wake her up and she smiled, her hair a bit of a mess, but they could fix that after breakfast. Heading out to the kitchen he just set up a small plate of fruits and some toast for her. She was curious why he wasn't eating but he just shook his head, patting himself on the stomach, "I'm still very full from yesterday's dinner," he assured her. He didn't want her to worry about him trying to regain some control. It was just for a little while, right? Just until him and Eden figured it out. But his disorder was like a snake whispering in his ear and it felt almost like a rush to get back into it. Like a junkie longing for a fix. While she was eating he went out and got a cigarette, his hands shaking a little as he lit it up. Inhaling he finally felt at ease; the hunger was pushed down and away. He was in control again.

It was weird how they were practically avoiding each other. It felt strange not to hug and kiss as the first thing in the morning, but Eden had never come to bed. When the cigarette was burned out, he placed it in the ash tray, killing any remaining ember within. Heading back to the kitchen, he washed his hands, drying it off with a paper towel before moving to throw it into the trash. That was when he saw the shirt. Frowning he picked it up, searching for any holes, or maybe it had gotten a tear in a thread? But the only thing that he saw was the blood on the collar. A cold chill went down his spine. Now he didn't only feel this emptiness within him, he also felt betrayed. He just stuffed the shirt as far into the trash as was possible, his breath trembling a little. Amelia had some homework to do, and they had a meeting with the adoption center later. Was the vampyre acting up because he didn't want this? In that case he didn't have to do anything. Romeo could just adopt her. No strings attached to Eden.
Amelia got off from her chair, hugging Romeo and thanking him for the breakfast before she went to go get ready. However there was still the matter of her hair. Grabbing her hairbrush she went to Eden's office, peaking in with curious eyes. "Pappa?" She asked carefully. She wasn't stupid! She could sense the tense atmosphere from a mile away. "Can you help me with my hair?" It was a little too much for her to handle, and the hair was rather long. But she liked it long, and Romeo knew how to do pretty braids in it, which she really liked.
If Eden agreed, she would move over to stand in front of him with her back turned. When he started to brush it out she was silent for a while before she spoke. "Why was papà crying last night? Did he hurt himself?" She asked.
