They had it coming

Amelia was hugging Babbit close to her chest when Eden started to wake her up. She replied a little disgruntled, snuggling up to her dad as she was slowly but surely waking up. Looking up at the vampyre who was holding her so gently made a tired smile appear on her lips. She was tuckered out, but the nap had done her well and the prospect of snow made her wake up relatively fast. "Snow?" She asked excitedly but looked to Babbit with a frown, "Babbit won't like snow, right?" She wasn't stupid, she knew that snow was just frozen rain, and the rabbit had seen its fair share of water from when she had first gotten it.
Though she seemed to really want to go. "Wait," she said before she got up and moved towards her parents' bedroom. Inside she placed Babbit down by the sleeping lycan who was already snoring a bit from how he was laying. She smiled at kissed Romeo's forehead before she returned to Eden. "Babbit will watch papino while we're gone," she said, clearly convinced that the tiny toy animal would do well to protect him.
She got dressed for the weather with gloves, a hat and a nice scarf as well. They were lucky that Romeo loved spending money on clothing for her, because he made sure to include every season and style. Once she was all dressed up she smiled at Eden taking his hand before they moved out of the apartment and down to the streets.

Amelia nodded from under her layers of clothing, but she clearly wasn't in discomfort. Outside her eyes widened at the giant snowflakes and she giggled as she tried catching some with her tongue. She was quite clearly ecstatic to see this much snow and how it made the city change so drastically. She clearly nodded excitedly when the mention of the park came about. She was truly ready to experience everything to the fullest.
Once they arrived in the park a lot of people were playing in the snow. Kids were running around, people were building snowmen and it was quite the perfect image. All of the cities flaws were hidden away under a nice layer of white that almost burned the eyes to look at. "Pappa look," she said pointing at someone who was making a snowman, "can we do that?" She asked, cause she clearly didn't know the rules in the park. And if everyone was allowed to do the same.

Amelia was quite clearly surprised that they could do it too. She hadn't ever made one before, so it was good that Eden explained it easily. Once he had helped her start she giggled as she ran around collecting snow as her ball got bigger and bigger. She eventually got to a size that she was quite proud of, and rather heavy for her to move. It reached her to her stomach and she smiled at Eden, "pappa, look!" She exclaimed excitedly.
However what she didn't know was that she and Eden were being watched by vengeful eyes. Eyes that soon enough went away to report what they had witnessed.
Amelia was blissfully unaware and chuckled happily as her and Eden got to assemble the snowman. She helped collecting a few rocks for its eyes and a stick would have to do for its nose as they didn't have any carrots. Amelia made up a story about how Babbit had probably eaten it by accident and that was why their snowman had a thick piece of wood as its nose.

Amelia clearly had no clue about being watched and she simply had fun with her father out in the snow, chuckling and giggling. Her cheeks were red from the cold but she was not too chilly. The picture she agreed to, insisting that Eden should be in it too. They took a few proper pictures but also some with Amelia being goofy.
Once they were off again she leaned her head against Eden, clearly a little tired but very happy. He mentioned food and she placed a hand on her stomach as it started to growl a little. Nodding she smiled, "I like soup!" But to be honest she had a healthy appetite and wasn't picky at all. She was just happy to be out and about, having fun and using up some of that pent up lycan kid energy.
Soon enough they found the spot, and Amelia wanted some beef type soup while Romeo usually preferred chicken. "Psst," she told the waiter behind the disk, "my pappa doesn't eat, but can he have soup too?" She asked, clearly a worried child. She had come to understand that Eden didn't eat like her and Romeo, and the elder lycan had described to her how a vampyre didn't eat food. When she had asked what they ate Romeo was not one to lie, so he had told her that vampyres drank blood, and that was why her pappa had special vials in the fridge.
"Pappa eats blood - that's what papino says .. so could he have a bloodsoup?" She was clearly rather innocent and unknowing, but she wanted her father to have som as well.

Innocent as Amelia was she didn't notice too much the way the waiter was discriminating the relationship the two of them had. In her head, Eden was her father and so was Romeo. They loved her and protected her, so what more could she need? She looked at the lollipop spinning it around between her fingers as she chuckled softly. Eden's question made her look to him with happy eyes and red cheeks. Her lips pulled up in a joyous smile "best day ever!" She proclaimed.
Soon enough their soups were done but outside the snow was getting a little wilder. Amelia got up on Eden's back so he could still carry the soups. She was strong for her age, and with the vampyre they didn't risk her getting fatigued from the walk home. The snow was getting bigger, and it just seemed to grow as time went on. "I wanna go home," Amelia cried, shaking a little because this wasn't the fun snow she had felt back in the park. This felt dangerous.

Safe to say Amelia didn't like the snow very much anymore. However with Eden's patience and guidance she soon enough made time pass well enough until they came into the apartment complex. She was shaking a little, mostly from how scared she had been, but Eden was right. They were safe and they had soup. "I wanna see papino now," she muttered craving more comfort as per her nature. Taking the house key she unlocked the door to the apartment and stepped in.
Inside stood Romeo with a worried face before he came to greet them he wrapped his arms around Amelia, helping her out of her clothes all while checking that she hadn't gotten too cold. Kissing the top of her head he asked her to go sit in front of the heater. Then he came to his husband, kissing him rather strongly, but he could barely find his words. He had been worried sick and simply wrapped his arms around Eden, pressing him close. "I was worried sick; didn't you get any of my calls?" He asked worried, but when either of them showed their phones, nothing had gone through. Probably because of the storm. He took a few deep breaths and looked to Amelia before he looked to Eden. He couldn't show too much worry in front of her, so he just kissed his husband once more, helping him with the soups so he could get undressed too.
Amelia was sitting on the floor, removing the outer layers of clothes that had gotten wet because of the snow. She was shaking a little. "Pappa, can you please help," she pleaded, clearly being rather stuck in place.

Romeo took the soups and the message out into the kitchen. He didn't want Amelia to witness if something bad had truly happened.
Meanwhile Amelia was shaking a little, but it helped once she got out of the wet clothes and wrapped up in a blanket. She leaned against Eden and nodded at his question. She had been rather scared. Scared because there had been so much snow that she couldn't see anything around them. Scared because she was starting to feel cold, and any lycans instinct would tell them that it was wrong. "It's okay, pappa, we're home now," she said, but clearly leaned into his comfort, closing his eyes as she let him hold her. She was just a kid and the world was big and scary enough as it was.
Romeo soon enough returned with their soups poured into neat bowls, "careful; I reheated it so it's still warm," he smiled, placing the soup on the coffee table so she could sit on the floor in front of the heater and eat. He placed a kiss against the top of her head before he handed Eden his bowl. His eyes said it all: We'll talk later. For now it was about making Amelia comfortable and warm once more. He sat down behind her so she would get some of his heat as well and it seemed to make her relax again.

Finishing up their dinner Amelia was clearly tuckered out, but was fighting to keep her eyes open. She was finally completely warm and after everything it wasn't so odd that she needed rest. Lycans that young used a lot of energy on staying warm until they hit around puberty. And while her transformation had been triggered, it didn't change her biology too much. Romeo was stroking her hair. He had actually finished his bowl of soup, even if he had fought his mind a little. But knowing that Amelia was watching him, he just knew he had to do his best. Eventually she fell asleep in his arms and he sighed softly. "I don't want to move her just yet," he admitted with a smile on his lips.
Having that little girl around just did something to him. His heart had grown bigger. He had really come to love her as his and Eden's true daughter. "She's without a care in the world right now," he spoke almost in a whisper, kissing the top of her head which made her nuzzle herself into his embrace. He turned his head and looked at Eden with happy, yet worried eyes. If what he had sensed was true - that someone was actually watching them - then all of what they had built was at risk. And the eyes had seen Amelia and Eden interact, which put a target on her back. "I found a good potential nanny," he disclosed while he stroked her back in calm movements to keep her safe and calm.
"She's trustworthy - I've done a full background check on her and everything is coming up good," he wanted Amelia to be safe and to be loved even by her nanny. "When the storm is over we could setup a meeting between her and us, and then if we deem her worthy we could see the chemistry between her and Amelia?"

Romeo smiled at how the little lycan was all nestled up to him. It was hard not to care for her when she was this cute. Eden's words made him nod in response, "already considered a few nice cafés with a nearby park," he wanted them to meet at the park and see if Amelia seemed to like her, and if she did then they could talk at the café. There was no use for talking if the little lycan didn't like her to begin with. "I want to see them interact more than question her - I've gotten most of my answers from the private investigator, so it would just be a formality." It wasn't that strange for them to do background checks, but he felt happy that they had done it now.
He sat a bit with her, leaning his head against Eden and just taking a moment to feel the family they had. He felt so blessed. So raw and happy that it almost hurt a little. "I should probably put her in bed," he sighed, though if he could he would've let her sleep in his arms for as long as she wanted. "The two of us need to talk regardless - and I don't want to disturb her sleep further."
He got up, carrying the small child into bed. She wasn't wearing much more than some leggings and a shirt, so he wasn't afraid she was going to be too warm. The bed was a little cold and she whimpered a bit. Romeo stayed by her side until she stopped fussing in her sleep before he went to him and Eden's bedroom.

As Eden entered he watched him carefully. He always looked so beautiful, even if he was a bit frustrated or .. whatever mood he was in right now. The lycan moved up on the bed, wrapping his arms around his shoulders from behind and kissed the side of his head in prolonged pecks. "You're doing it again," he muttered against his skin, feeling the frustration deep within the vampyre. He knew him well enough by now that he knew where to look. "Why do you feel unneeded?" He whispered as his pecks moved down his neck as his hands snaked around front to help him unbutton the rest of his shirt. He wanted to feel his skin against his own. He wanted to warm him up with his heat and his love. "I need you," he assured him, his hands now exploring his bare chest. It was hard for him not to, considering what they had done earlier simply sparked something within him.

He hummed, kissing him along his neck and listening to the love of his life. It was clear that he was struggling and Romeo didn't want him to hide it. They could talk it out and make sure the vampyre didn't began to spiral in his thoughts. "You want me all to yourself," he stated calmly. There was nothing wrong in that in the lycan's eyes. It was how Eden wanted things to be because he feared sharing love with anyone. Feared that things would be ruined like they had been with his sister. "What could set your mind at ease?" He asked leaning his cheek to his head, holding him close as he just wanted to soothe him.
"My love isn't a finite thing, amore, it's infinite, and the love I share with Amelia is because she's part of you too," he loved Eden fully. Couldn't he see that their child only got that love because it was his child too? "I love her because I love her pappa, I love her because she's part of our life," did that make sense? "I only love her, because I love you as infinite as I do."[/color]

"I think you're being perfectly reasonable," he spoke soothingly, closing his eyes to enjoy the intimacy of the moment. He knew that Eden struggled with jealousy, and maybe that was why it would be wisest to just handle it when appeared. "I hate sharing you too," he muttered against his lips before giving in to temptation and kissing him rather passionately. He knew Eden better than anyone, or at least his body. He knew what turned him on and what made him lose his mind. "I'm still gaping a bit from earlier," he moaned against his lips before he bit down on the vampyre's lip. Making him bleed and sharing the cold blood between them as it slowly turned hot because of the lycans heat just aided in the passion it seemed. "Your blood as lube really did something to me," he sighed, his jaw tensing at the thought. "Cazzo amore, I wanted nothing more than to be filled with all of your fluids," it was even making him a little high to know that this was what they were talking about. He kissed him down his neck, smearing the blood wherever he pleased because of how bratty he could be. "Baby I want you to bite me while you fuck me," he whispered against his skin. He knew what Eden's venom did, but he wanted to feel it still. Wanted to feel what his husband felt in combining the two.
