Well isn't this an odd conglomerate?

Gritting his teeth his eyes moved down to look at the fingers scraping down his skin, moving his gaze back to Eden. Biting his lower lip he leaned in kissing him tenderly and perhaps a little because of the fact that just the suggestion made him turned on. "I'm yours," he whispered against his lips, licking them gently and teasingly, "you can do with me as you please." It was a clear yes from Romeo to go ahead if Eden was in the mood for it. He couldn't deny him anything, especially not after imagining their life in their future shared home.
However just as Eden was about to reach the place that needed his attention the most, there was a polite knock on the door. "Room service for the Parish family," a voice spoke on the other side of the door. Romeo grit his teeth, his chest heaving softly from anticipation. He didn't want food! He just wanted Eden right now. It was as if the vampyre took away all his needs except the ones surrounding only him. "Leave it at the door!" Romeo called, his breath slightly hiccupping already. "I-I'm sorry sir, but I'm not allowed to just leave it."

The staff outside looked practically scared as Eden came to the door, taking a step back and frankly just taking the scolding in silence as he was too stunned to even react. Romeo was laying on the bed when the vampyre returned, his lips pouting as he felt so frustrated about being left like this. It wasn't as bad as it was back home, but he still felt so violated whenever they were broken apart like this. He looked to Eden, hearing the wise words he wanted to object, say that he didn't want the food anyways, that he just wanted him. But he also knew that Eden would make sure to hand feed him if that was what it took. Not bothering getting dressed he sat up by the foot of the bed, removing the metal cover to reveal the steamy eggs and nicely toasted bread.
Deciding to go for the coffee first he lifted it to his lips taking a few careful sips. Eating wasn't something he had ever liked. Maybe he was weird like that. But his mother had always had to coerce him into eating, and he would do it to make her happy. Lifting a piece of bread he took a few bites, chewing them slowly as he felt a set of eyes on him. Turning he looked to Eden, maybe a bit lost in all of this as his body was trying to cope with the fact they had been interrupted. "Come sit with me," he urged him, clapping the place beside him.

He felt more relaxed as Eden came to sit behind him, eating a bit more as the words felt encouraging in a way. If he finished breakfast, he could be rewarded by Eden's intimacy. How could he say no to that? "Is it weird watching me eat?" He asked, taking another bite of the toast, putting some egg on it just to get more of it down, taking a sip of his coffee. "Like, is it unappealing or disgusting to you?" He wondered how a vampyre viewed mortal food. Like was it smelling bad? Or was it not something he even bothered thinking about? He finished his coffee first, getting a few more bites in as well as nibbling at some of the fruit, but there was much too much for him to eat even on a good day.

Always asking in negatives? He hadn't really thought about that, but deep down he knew it came from his insecurities. It came from the fact that all his life he had been asked to be perfect, and now that he was straying from that path, he was afraid that it would come back to bite him if Eden someday decided that he didn't want him anymore - because of his imperfectness. Though saying that out loud would ruin the mood, and Romeo really just wanted to sit here with the man he loved, feeling his arms around him. He watched the grape carefully, seeing it lifted to the vampyres lips, how he bit it in half and offered the other half to Romeo. He opened his mouth for the grape to enter, listening intently to the story being told. Smiling softly at the image in his head of a small Eden going around trying to bite apples but not knowing how to chew was rather cute. "You didn't have a lot of mortal friends then?" he asked, because surely they could've told him how it worked.
The question was returned about the blood and he frowned, shrugging a bit as he looked ahead, lifting the glass of juice to take a sip. "I was terrified of blood when I was younger .. So my grandfather took me hunting every week until I grew out of it and started to associate it with something that's just a part of normal life," he said, placing the glass back on the table, turning his head to look at Eden. Searching his eyes for a bit, he lifted a hand to cup his cheek. "But when I'm with you .. When I feel through your skin what blood does to you .. There's nothing disgusting or unappealing about that," he said, smiling softly. Eden had changed him in that way, and Romeo believed it was for the better. "Besides, I love everything that is you and what you need - And since being with you I've developed perhaps a small infatuation with blood as well."

Romeo smiled, though he wasn't sure if he liked being watched when he was eating. Maybe it was just something he would have to get used to. Everything was about adapting in life, or that was at least the lessons he had been taught so far. He returned the brief kiss, however the question made him feel a bit stumped. He frowned, looking at the half eaten pieces of food, some he had nibbled at, but none of it he had finished completely. "The coffee was good," he said, but maybe that wasn't the answer Eden was fishing for. He turned his head back to look at the vampyre, leaning in to place a gentle kiss against his lips once more, "I'll go brush my teeth," he muttered, getting up from the bed and heading to the bathroom. Avoiding looking at himself in the mirror, he grabbed his toothbrush and applied some toothpaste before he started brushing. This was fine, he told himself, he had it under control and Eden was just curious. There was nothing wrong with that.

Romeo finished up brushing his teeth, splashing some water in his face just to feel a bit more grounded. Drying himself off he went back in the room, noticing Eden out on the balcony he wouldn't want to interrupt him smoking. Instead he went to his bag, picking out a set of clothes for the day. He was a bit peculiar about how he put together clothes, but it always turned out rather stylish and modern. He got dressed, mostly because right now he felt like the moment had passed, and his mind was already trying to spiral, so he wasn't going to encourage it. Messing around with his hair he took a glimpse in the mirror, but he felt like he regretted it, only seeing his flaws. His heart started to beat a bit faster, so he looked away, heading over to the bed to grab his phone, just checking the time. It wasn't too late, but it was almost midday.

Romeo was surprised to be pushed back to sit, looking up at the vampyre a little confused. The question felt like he was being interrogated. Like something had to be wrong with him, and he looked down, unsure of how he felt about all of this. The follow ups weren't helping either. It felt like Eden was trying to pressure him into telling him something he wasn't ready to share with him just yet. And still he knew that it was something that they would have to confront at some point - but did it have to be right now? "I just struggle with food sometimes," he said, looking up at Eden, taking his hand, giving it an affirming squeeze, "it's just how I've always been - some days are easier some days are not." It was perhaps a bit vague, but Romeo wasn't even sure what to call it himself. It was just one of his quirks. One that had gotten him in trouble more than once, and he didn't want Eden to scold him or get angry. "I know we promise each other honesty, and right now I honestly don't want to talk about what's going on in my mind, cause it will just ruin the trip." Couldn't he just let it go?

He nodded, getting up from his seat, moving closer to Eden, wrapping his arms around him. "I just need to be distracted for a bit .. Then things will sort themselves out," he promised him, just holding him close, wanting to soothe him despite not giving him any real explanation. He just wasn't ready for it to come out yet. Pulling away, he leaned up, giving Eden a nice and sweet peck on his lips, "get dressed .. I don't want you tempting me to strip again," he smiled, teasing him a bit. He just wanted them to return to being happy to be together once more. While Eden got ready, Romeo opened his book to read a few pages, just as a good way to distract himself. Once the vampyre was ready they headed out, and Romeo had to admit that he was curious to see the sights around town.

Romeo enjoyed being out and about. The fact that they were holding hands made him feel a little giddy, perhaps because they so rarely went out like this. Like a couple on a stroll. It was nice to see all of the small nooks and spots that Eden had found during his visit here. A few of the places were actually quite beautiful despite being placed in the middle of a busy city. After walking for a bit in the sun, he pulled Eden aside over to the shadows of a tree. It was warm out, and not really suitable weather for a vampyre. "You should be more mindful of the sun," he muttered, having felt the uneasy feeling that Eden had gotten, making him feel a little dizzy himself. "I'll go grab some water .. Just wait here; Do you need anything?" he was quite up for the task of doing something for the vampyre now that he had the chance.

Romeo nodded, heading towards the store. Inside the aircondition was blasting, making it almost chilly, though for him he barely noticed being warm blooded. He went over to the cooler, grabbing a bottle of water, while also grabbing some sun screen. Picking one with a good coverage and high protection he looked at the other things available in the store. There were a small section for immortals, and when he thought section, it was more like a few items gathered in one spot. They of course had some species related snacks, but he found a cream that seemed to be catered to vampyres specifically. Though he wasn't sure if it was going to help, it wouldn't hurt to bring it along.
Paying for it he returned to Eden, who looked a little worse for wear. "How about we go back to the hotel and rest for a while? I am feeling a little jetlagged still," he admitted, wanting to let Eden know that it wouldn't be a bother.

He could imagine how worse he would have gotten if they had stayed out in the sun. Scoffing at himself, he just kept himself calm, using the tree to relax. It would be hard for just anyone to see that Eden was struggling and when Romeo returned, it was like the lycan saw through him. But then again, could he expect from the lycan who had seen him at his worst? At least health-wise. The suggestion made him shake his head, because it just felt as if Romeo was just doing this for him. "I'll be fine if we just go somewhere that isnt in direct sunlight." he said, leaning off the tree to move closer to Romeo, looking at the sun screen in his hand. He gently grabbed it from his hand to inspect. "Specially formulated for vampyres." he read out loud, scoffing lightly. "Thank you." he said before he would open it and apply a fair amount to cover one arm. He didnt want Romeo to help since his unwell feeling would affect him.

Nodding at the suggestion, he wouldn't mind stepping out of the sun for a while. He wasn't looking to get a tan, though he couldn't really help that from happening with his Italian genes. Noticing how Eden was doing it on his own, he sighed, walking over to help him spread it on his neck and the back of his arms, if he let him. "I can be there for you when you need me just as much as you've been there for me," he argued softly, hoping he would let him help. If not that would just be how things were.
Romeo suggested they could go to the mall that was advertised everywhere. He needed a fresh set of clothes for the dinner tonight anyways, and inside a mall the daylight wouldn't be a problem. Reaching their destination, he let his hand move down beside the vampyre, playing a bit with his fingers, trying to figure out if he wanted his touch or not. Romeo already missed it. It was strange how addicted he was to Eden's touch, and yet here he was. The mall was quite busy, but not so bad that they couldn't move through it. Best of all, the stores that him and Eden mostly kept to were a bit on the pricier side, which meant that the average mall goer didn't want to spend their hard earned money on.
Inside the store he was looking through a variety of shirts, picking out a button up that was a light lavender color. It had long sleeves, that he knew he wanted to roll up to keep it more casual. As for pants he went with a burgundy set that had a matching blazer too. Shoes and belt he kept black for simplicity's sake. He went in to try it out, opening the door to the changing room to let Eden see. "What do you think?" he asked, turning around, letting him get a good view. The lavender shirt had nice white accents of flowers and leaves in a simple pattern.

Eden would have preferred to do it on his own but Romeo moved closer and helped regardless. He wanted to object, it was maybe a little obvious but he didnt say anything. It would just ruin the mood. And it wasnt like he disliked Romeo's touch. He craved it, but only when it was right. The sun screen was spread and Eden would feel a bit better about being out in the sun. He agreed to go to the mall, though he wasnt very fond of crowded places. Especially malls. He couldnt even recount all the malls that Laure had dragged him to shop for a whole new closet. Though he didnt want to think of her now.
He felt Romeo's hand touch his, grabbing it in a gentle grip as they moved through the mall. When they got to the store, Eden let Romeo go to let him look around. Eden could tell that the clerk was quite quick to determine that they most probably knew what they were looking for already. And yet, seeing him look at Romeo, triggered something in Eden, a jealousy of some sort. Something that felt almost just natural because it had happened so often that it felt almost ingrained. A clerk looking at someone he cared for ended out in something bad. The vampyre kept calm for now, though it was luckily pushed aside as Romeo went to try it out. When Romeo stepped out, it was almost as expected. He looked fantastic. "You'll fit right in." he said with a smile as he walked over to adjust the jacket a little. Not that Romeo needed that, but Eden needed to just be close to him.
It just seemed that the clerk couldnt help himself, much to Eden's dismay. "Excuse me. Sirs. I just couldnt help but notice the specific set that you've chosen and I have quite the set of jewelry that would fit." he said, rather polite, but it was annoying Eden. He was fully projecting for something Laure did, but he wasnt really realizing that either.

Having Eden step closer and adjust the jacket made him smile, wanting to lean in and steal a kiss, however the clerk seemed to intervene. The lycan looked towards him, tilting his head a little to the side. He liked jewelry, but after getting their engagement ring, he didn't really feel like wearing much else. Returning his gaze to Eden, he wondered if the sun had hurt him too much as he seemed agitated, but he couldn't see why it would be because of the clerk. He was simply doing his job, right? "Sure .. A necklace would be nice; I'm not planning on wearing a tie," he said, looking at Eden with searching eyes. As the clerk went to prepare a selection he gave the vampyre's hand a squeeze, "do you need to sit down?" he asked in a hushed whisper, not wanting to disclose Eden's weakness to anyone.
