“I can forgive you if you just keep looking like this.” He chuckled, looking at the lycan as he pulled away. He still had that sleepy charm. Eden wondered if he would see that side of him again. The question made him shrug as he sat up against the bedreame. Did it really matter? It didnt to the vampyre so he wouldnt really tell. Romeo seemed far too proud to hear the answer anyway. The food had purely been what was recommended, so when Romeo removed the top, Eden leaned over to see what it was as well. The question made him eye him, smiling a little as he looked down his body. “You’ll just turn it all into muscle, so is it really fattening?” He asked, leaning back to rest up against the bedframe. When he was done eating and went, Eden went out to have a smoke, looking out on the beautiful garden. In the sinrise it was truly something else. Eden actually quite liked morning, despite the sunlight making him a little drowsy. It was the weakest sunrays so it wasnt the worst. And summer had gone, so it was even weaker now. He smoked half a cigarette and returned inside to pack away the tray. He wasnt really a care taker in any regard but with Romeo he somehow felt a sort of pull towards it. Romeo returned and the question made him sigh. “Around 12 so we do have some time on our hands. We still have parts we missed yesterday, so it’s not like we have to stick around here.”

“We can go check it out.” He said with a smile. Though it would be fine to be seeing new things, he didnt want to tire out the lycan too much today. But on the other hand if they only had to sit all afternoon, then it was fine. Romeo went to go smoke and Eden just prepared in the meantime, putting on a watch, considering whether to put on more clothes, though he didnt really need it. He looked in the mirror and decided that it would be fine if he just put on his jacket. When Romeo came back Eden looked at him as he got rather close. A teasing peck made the vampyre sigh, the mutter made him narrow his eyes. Okay, so this was how it was going to be. Eden scoffed and got into his jacket and shoes before he followed. He checked his phone shortly as he was following the lycan’s tracks but soon caught up. “I need to make a quick phone call.” He said, excusing himself, though he just nodded for Romeo to follow as they went outside to head towards the town. It was his assistant who spoke a stream of words. Eden seemed a little annoyed but it was mostly because he didnt want to think about work or anything outside this town when he was somewhere far away with the lycan. “Stella, I need you to calm down. I understand that you’re scared but she does this every time she doesnt get exactly what she wants. She hurt you?..” he paused as he listened. Then he sighed and lifted a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. “I’m sorry she did that. No, you dont have to be scared, this isnt about you. You told her?..” another pause. He glanced shortly towards the lycan before he looked back ahead. “No, okay, alright. Thank you for keeping quiet, I’ll deal with her when I come back. Just apply some ice on your wrist and if it still hurts later then go to the hospital.” He said, thanking her again before hanging up, groaning as he was pretty worked up now.

“Yeah…” he just replied but in all honesty, he just didnt want to think about it or deal with it. It was so annoying when she was like this, showing up like she could just demand something and then have a tantrum if he wasnt there. Not that he was much different in the deeper layers, but it wasnt often he could just go and seek her out. So even more was it annoying that she could just do it. “It’s just my sister.” He said quite truthfully, maybe because he had tried so hard to keep her secret from Gerard. “You think you’re a brat but she’s ten times worse.” He said, thinking that could sum it up nicely, though he didnt want to talk about it further than that.
Romeo changed the conversation and the vampyre looked around. “I think I would just get tired of all the tourists. If I wanted to live a place like this, it would be some old city that no one has ever heard of.” He said, which seemed quite nice now when he could imagine what it was he had to come home to. He just hoped that the staff had made it through unscathed.

They reached the forest and Eden wished he could just let it go but his mind was just going in all directions. His secretary hadnt told Laure where exactly he was but he wouldnt really be surprised if she’d suddenly show up somehow. He felt Romeo’s hand around his and looked at the lycan as he stepped in front of him to walk backwards. The gesture made him look around shortly, humming as he sighed. But it was the way he touched his face that really seemed to draw Eden’s attention.
He was however right. There was no reason to stay angry now, when he could choose to focus on being here. He would be angry once again when he got home so he might as well push it to when he’d be alone and not with Romeo on a getaway that was supposed to be romantic. “Forgive me.” He said before he smiled, giving the lycan’s hand a squeeze. They continued and Eden looked around, humming slightly in a ponder. “This looks much like the forest surrounding the temples in Churchill. Have you ever been to the temples?” He asked, looking at Romeo rather curiously.

“Odd. The temples are pretty much all that Churchill is known for.” He scoffed, but it wasnt really a big deal. He wasnt from here either or could you say that when you had lived somewhere longer than your birthplace? He didnt linger on the thought for long. Hearing about trips to the countryside made him chuckle. “You were probably as much a rascal as you are now.” He smiled. Though the lycan wasnt really smiling and it made him wonder a bit.
The eager walk from the lycan made Eden attentive to keep up and as they reached there it sure wasnt much but it didnt always have to be gandeur. It fit the nature so Eden was satisfied. “I’m glad you feel that.” He said, reaching over to hold the lycan’s hand. He noticed something and pulled the lycan with him, following the stream till they reached a certain point. Rocks had been placed to make a low effort shrine, some text on a big rock in the middle with fresh flowers placed neatly in front. Eden looked at it but couldnt make out the language. “This is very old.” He remarked.

He shook his head at the question, glancing shortly towards the stone. Not it was definitely something that he couldnt recognize. But it seemed like Romeo did so Eden got curious. And as he disclosed that it was funny, Eden obviously wanted to know. When he explained the stort, the vampyre looked at the stream as he listened. It was a peculiar story somehow but it wasnt like it seemed completely impossible. “Interesting.” Eden said as he hummed. Romeo got him a flower and he followed the pull. Squatting down he watched as Romeo stuck his hand in the water with the flower. The vampyre didnthe same, though the notion that he should make a wish made him look at the lycan. “It has already come true.” He said, looking a little softer at the handsome young man next to him. He guessed that he could just think of something else but nothing really came to mind. He did eventually let go of the flower, watching it run with the warm stream away.

He got up as well, watching the flowers disappear. It was quite funny to be so taken up by something as simple as two flowers drifting off in a river, as if it wasnt just the natural flow. He felt the warm hand on his cheek and turned to look at the lycan, though he hadnt expected him to kiss him. However it was welcomed regardless, returning the kiss as he grabbed lightly at his jacket as a means to sort of keep him in place even if his grip was loose. “It would cancel out the wish if I told you.” He said, clearly not wanting to disclose what it had been or even hint at it. The kisses down his neck made Eden sigh with a slight smile. “What are you trying to do?” He asked, though he knew. The brat was trying to rile him up just so he would pay more attention to him, maybe even more if he was brought to the attention that he craved him. He moved away, just out of reach, a broad smile spreading over his lips. “You can use your words.” He reminded him, though the kisses had had an effect on him and he knew Romeo could tell.

The question made him chuckle. It was true that it was hard to hide emotions from the lycan, unless they kept a distance. He noticed hiw the lycan was checking him out and it made him wonder who was the one really losing it. The notion that they were alone made Eden a little focused on listening like he was telling the truth. They both had the same sense of hearing after all. He couldnt hear anyone, maybe a deer or birds but no beings like them. “You are shameless.” He scoffed but he really liked that. It was forward, not some kind of guessing game on eggshells as to what was allowed and what wasnt. Though as he mentioned last night, Eden tensed his jaw a little. “Actually..” he said as he stepped closer, placing his hands on the lycan’s arms, their skin seperated by fabric. He shifted between his eyes. “I want to see what happens if you dont get your way.” He said, rubbing his arms through the fabric with his thumbs before he let go and corrected his own jacket a little. A teasing smile spread on his lips as he let his eyes wander up and down the lycan quite obviously before he sighed like it was a shame. “I would have loved to get a taste of you.” He added just to throw into the ring of possibilities out here. He turned and followed the stream to get closer to the small waterfall.

It was quite beautiful here, and Eden looked at the water coming down. He wondered if the water was so warm because it was close to a warm source, but it just seemed unlikely. It had to be a godly force that kept the water warm and with the story it just made sense. He noticed Romeo in the corner of his eye but was a little surprised to see the lycan undress. The bratty smile made him raise his eyebrows and he watched as the lycan began climbing the stones. He was actually a little impressed when he saw how his muscles tensed up and began showing as they were used. He reached the top and Eden wondered if he would jump in. It would suck if it wasnt safe, but it seemed that Romeo had a good eye. When he had jumped in, Eden walked closer to the edge and squatted down, waiting for him to come back up. “You know, I always think that I can figure you out and then you surprise me.” He said, a little louder than usual with the waterfall right next to them, even if small it did make noise.

The lycan told him to get in and he wondered if it was really a good idea. However he got back up and took off his jacket, placing it next to the lycan’s before getting out of his clothes. He got in the water and looked to the waterfall, wondering what Romeo had found behind it since he wasnt back yet. So he swam in too, dealing with the harsh water too. It was funny how different their bodies worked, while Romeo’s muscles enhanced when used, Eden’s barely reacted yet were there, neverchanging. He looked around, feeling a little better out of the daylight. “You’re right.” He said, his eyes looking around the carvings as well. “Is that something you want to try?” He asked with a small smile, swimming up to look closer at some of the wall. He wondered who had made it. “Do you think we’ll end up in a god’s home if we continue along the stream?” He asked but he was obviously kidding. Though it would have been comedic.

“It would, but do the laws apply to gods?” He pondered. He didnt quite believe so. In the end all of the gods were connected to each other in some way, so werent all the species their children in some sort of familiar manner? He looked at Romeo as he made the small gesture of moving some of his hair away. He came closer and Eden touched his lower back gently, reaching out to grab a rather deep dent in the wall so they didnt have to bother with swimming. “It is warm water.” He said calmly, though it felt nice to feel Romeo’s leg wrap around him. His hand moved down to support him. He returned the kiss rather tender, smiling a little at him as he spoke. “We can find out.” He said, leaning in to connect their lips as the pecks werent quite it for him. He licked his lower lip with his, adjust his grip around the lycan’s thigh. “So how do I feel now?” He asked, knowing Romeo could feel it. He felt quite content just being here with him, where it was like nothing could disturb them.

The answer made him chuckle lightly. When he was pressed this close, Eden being able to feel his heartbeat so strongly that he thought that this was what it would have felt like to have a heartbeat at all. He was sure it would have gone crazy for the lycan all the time. He liked feeling Romeo’s tongue against his own, feeling his warm mouth and tasting his saliva.
The whisper made him hum as he looked around for a second. “Okay.” He agreed, looking back at the lycan. It was quite romantic in the vampyre’s eyes and this place seemed so desolate that it could only be their gem. “I am already longing to hear your sweet cries echo off the walls.” He said with a smile, kissing the lycan before he looked at him. “I didnt think you’d care that much about our first time.” He teased him though he liked it.

He argued back and it surprised Eden a little as he went so into depth with why. But it also gave him insight which he appreciated rather than having to guess or otherwise snuff out. He could hear the slight frustration and he caressed him a little to comfort him.
Then he spoke about Eden’s plans and the vampyre smiled warmly. “No you are right, I wanted to show you that I care.” He said but it wasnt only that. He wanted to show the lycan that he was not just some kid to him that he was going to toy with and throw away. Surely he had met people like that before. Then Romeo confessed something that made the vampyre look genuinely surprised mostly because he felt it but it hadnt been said before. “It doesnt make you sound weak.” He then cooed him, leaning in to kiss his forehead, moving down to kiss his nose. “I like you too. A lot actually.” He said against his nose before his hand moved off of his thigh and he hugged him close. “Okay? You mean so much to me already.” He assured him softly, almost lovingly.
