Life is strange indeed

Eden felt like his heart was breaking apart and that was not a feeling he was used to. Laure had the upper hand once more and this time it seemed that she was ready to crush him under her heel just to have her way. That was until he bumped into Romeo who was coming out of the elevator and he looked at him with such surprise - Exactly like he had seen a ghost. The relief he felt in his being having the lycan here, he swore it was some wild fever dream. He followed him into the hotel room, feeling him pull him in and that's when he realized it wasnt just a dream. He wrapped himself around the lycan returning the kiss as the murmur made him chuckle softly in relief. "I love you so much." he said, grabbing his coat to get it off him. He just wanted to feel him close at this point, after fearing that he would lose him. Whoever it was that Laure believed to be Romeo, Eden didnt care about that person. She could tear them to pieces.

When Zaira hadnt answered, that was when Kurtis began worrying. And it seemed that when he hurried home to arrive at an empty apartment, it had been with all right. He found Zairas phone charging to then see the note. Looking at the text he frowned, but then he grit his teeth a little. So this was how it was going to be? He felt his jaw quiver, pulling out his phone as he called his cousin, sitting on the sidearm of the couch but it was like he couldnt rest in himself right now. If Romeo picked up, he'd waste no time silent. "Where is she? Where is Zaira?" he demanded to know, clearly rather angry. "Is this what I get for doing what I was supposed to? She's still just going to get hurt? I'll send her back in pieces if I feel like it? Fucking SAY SOMETHING!" he yelled angrily, feeling his eyes well up from the frustration inside of him.

Romeo chuckled, feeling how eager Eden was to get him undressed was something unexpected as well, but he took it as a sign that the vampyre had missed him. "Love you too ... Now slow down, I'm all yours," he reminded him, getting out of his jacket in a calmer pace. He wasn't in a hurry. They had all night. He opened up his shirt, letting the vampyre feel his skin, moaning softly as it felt too good indeed. Moving backwards on to the bed he had Eden on top of him as he pulled him down in a more heated kiss. Fuck he had really missed him. Feeling him up through his clothes was just all he wanted to do - well besides stripping him naked and feeling his skin against his own.
That was when his phone started ringing, sighing as he technically still was working. "I have to take this," he said, getting up to pick up his phone, placing it against his ear. He came to regret that as the lycan at the other end started screaming and he had to hold his phone away to protect his hearing. He was sure that Eden heard this too. "What the fuck are you talking about?" he said confused and clearly annoyed. Sure, Kurtis had done well, that was why he didn't bother with anything else tonight. "Listen I have no idea where she is; She's not my problem, she's yours," he scoffed, touching Eden's face, smiling as he looked down at him. He just wanted to feel his mouth again already, but letting Kurtis hear him in a room with someone else might put him at risk. "Have you received any threats lately? From your father? Maybe her mother?" it wouldn't really surprise him if Kurtis wasn't liked by his girlfriend's mother.

"I want you now." Eden said a little demanding but he felt he had every right to after this night's rollercoaster. Seeing Romeo open his shirt he reached over, touching his warm skin as he sighed in delight. They got in bed and Eden almost devoured his lips as they kissed. Gods he had missed him so much. It felt unbearable to wait this long, to have to hide the lycan away from Laure. The phone rang and Eden let him get up to take it, frowning a little as it sounded like a rather upset caller. He just reached over, playing a bit with the lycan's shirt as he was speaking to the angry caller. Though he had expected him to hang up seeing that he had answered the caller's question, but Eden wasnt going to meddle in his business. Though he did get a sly smile over his lips as he pulled at the lycan, guiding him to sit down on the bed, silently undoing his pants as he got in between his legs. This could work if the lycan could remain quiet.

"Who the fuck else have ever threatened Zaira?" Kurtis just asked like it was obvious. Zaira wasnt the kind to really have enemies, there was the incident with Vanessa but people at school didnt care anymore. The remark that she was his problem made the lycan grit his teeth as he couldnt believe Romeo would say something like that, something so god damn obvious! "Her mother wouldnt fucking send a note telling me she'll come in pieces and do you think I'd call if it was my father?" he asked, his jaw trembling with anger, lifting a hand to touch the pendant. And then he remembered her, how she had twisted the pendant to look at Zaira's name. And then it clicked for the dumb ass. Romeo's sudden bad stomach after the vampyre couple's arrival, the threats from the female. "I could fucking kill you, you fucking shithead! Why the fuck is Zaira getting involved in your fucking business with the Parish family? What the fuck have you done that she now pays for!"

Oh Romeo wanted him too, but the call clearly came unwarranted. Moving to sit down he let Eden undo his belt, touching the vampyre's cheek. Gods he wished he could tell him how good he looked here between his legs. He separated his lips, feeling his jaw drop as he knew where this was heading. It was a bad idea. And he loved it.
Meanwhile Kurtis was yapping off like a small chihuahua facing it's own shadow. Or well, that was until he mentioned the Parish family. He frowned. How the fuck did Kurtis know anything at all? Gritting his teeth he put the phone on speaker, "listen here you little brat, I have done nothing to the Parish alright; If you upset them during their visit, that's your problem, not mine!" he yelled back. He wanted Eden to hear this, he wanted him to know what the lycan said. Fuck he hated his cousin sometimes. "I'm with Mr. Parish right now discussing some very important business, so you can talk to him if you really want to bother him," he said. Romeo was way too angry. The good mood he had been in was gone and now he was just frustrated.

The fact that Romeo had the audacity to yell back just made Kurtis even angrier. What a fucker. How he could just tear into him and throw him around if he had the chance to. Hearing that Mr. Parish was with him, made Kurtis go silent for a bit. So it was really Mrs. Parish and her threats. "Okay so tell me fucking this then, both of you; Why did Mrs. Parish pull me aside to fucking tell me to stay away from her and her family. She looked at my fucking necklace with Zaira's name and acted like she suddenly had solved some huge ass mystery. And dont serve me some shit excuse because I saw how you changed as soon as they stepped in! You're not as fucking transparent as you'd like to be!" he just yelled, not caring if Eden could hear it too. Maybe he wanted the vampyre to hear how fucked up this was. "You know what... I dont fucking care what you do. But get her the fuck back! Or I'm telling my dad every fucking thing that I know about tonight, consider that boy fucking wonder piece of crap!" he finished it, hanging up before he took in a few deep breaths to calm himself down.

Eden would want nothing more than to get a taste of the lycan but as he was about to pull at his underwear, Romeo put the phone on speaker and started yelling. Eden drew in a deep breath and sat up, listening as the lycan spoke to the angry caller. He wasnt really sure what he was expecting but then the caller continued yelling and Eden sat for a bit as he put it all together. Eden knew Laure had found the wrong person because Romeo was sitting here right in front of him. The call was hung up and he reached over to touch Romeo's cheek gently.

Romeo took all the yelling in, sitting still he couldn't even reply as the call got disconnected. He breathed out, frowning as he shook his head. Eden touched his cheek and he looked at the vampyre. "Fuck," he muttered, closing his eyes. He knew what he had to do, but he also knew that Eden would hate it. "I gotta go get her ... It really isn't fair to him," he finally said, getting up and getting dressed once more. "I'll need your address and then I'll go talk to her; Mrs. Parish is clearly upset, so we just got to settle this," he said. It was the most logical thing to do. He texted Kurtis, telling him to stay put and that he would handle the situation.
"Are you coming with me?" Romeo finally asked. He clearly wasn't fully aware what kind of shit show he'd be walking in to, but he knew he wanted to have Eden there as well. "Isn't it about time you stood up to her? I mean, we both clearly want to be together," he argued.

Romeo sighed as Eden argued back. This wasn't really a fight he wanted to have. Everything with Eden was always nice and easy, but he had brought this on his family and he couldn't ignore it. Even if he wasn't really a fan of Zaira and Kurtis being together. Then the vampyre disclosed his worries, and Romeo reached out, cupping his face between his palms, looking in to his eyes. "Eden," he sighed, leaning in to kiss him gently. "I've been broken down so many times in my life, do you really think one woman could scar me more?" Sure maybe he was taking this a bit lightly, but hadn't Eden accepted all of the lycan's flaws already? He knew what had gone on in his past, he knew all that shit, and still he didn't trust that Romeo could understand struggle? "If you don't want to come with me, that's fine, but I am not scared of her ... I am scared that Kurtis is going to rat on me and I'll get sent back to Italy, and then I won't be able to see you," - "Come with me and I'll show you just how much that promise I made to you means."

Eden eventually gave in, though Romeo was trying not to let himself be bothered too much. In his mind they could fix this rather logically. Standing in front of the mansion he felt like he wanted to compliment the house, but then again maybe now wasn't the right time. He followed Eden inside where they were lead to a rather beautiful living room. And there she was, the human that his cousin seemed so obsessed with. Romeo went to her, placing a hand on her neck, her pulse was still going, but she had some bitemarks on her like she had been fed on. Sighing he untied her, lifting her up rather easily. He hated how much she smelled of his cousin. It was almost nasty. However as he turned to leave he was met by the woman Eden had been with at the party. "Mrs. Parish," he greeted her, but Laure was clearly stoked.

Had she taken the wrong person? Yeah, she had, but the fact that her brother waltzed in here with the real one made her chuckle. "Romeo," she said, giggling as she went over to pour herself another drink. "Of course the R stands for Romeo," she said, gripping around her glass as it splintered between her fingers. "I'll make sure the little girl here gets sent back, don't worry ... I'll even make sure she's patched up - Sorry I got a little impatient," just then one of their servants entered, taking Zaira out of the hands of Romeo. She would be returned just as Laure had promised. Sure she felt no remorse, but she also had a feeling that she would rather want to set her claws in the young lycan that had showed up here.
"Take off your clothes," she smiled, "pardon?" - "You heard me, take off your clothes and let me see why my brother has taken such an interest in you." Laure chuckled as she watched Romeo take off his jacket and shirt. Though keeping on his pants were fine - for now. "He's a bit young, isn't he Eden? He's just a kid," she scoffed.

"One's only as old as one feels," he remarked, staying polite even though he didn't want to. Eden came and grabbed his arm, sighing as he looked at the vampyre. He was terrified, that was clear. He looked back at his sister? Wait was it sister or wife? He was confused now. "Don't leave already," she chuckled, walking closer to Eden. Was he really trying to push away the inevitable? "Why don't you stay over? The two of you can have all the privacy you want," she smiled, though her eyes gave her away. Not that she was trying to hide anything. Romeo chuckled, shaking his head, "no it's quite alright, Mrs. Parish, though it is a generous offer," he said, grabbing his shirt and putting it back on, but Laure didn't seem to like that. "I insist," she said, grabbing the lycan and pulling him with her in to another room. Eden could try and follow but the door had been locked. "If you barge in I'm going to snap his neck!" she teased through the door, chuckling to herself as Romeo grunted and it sounded like he was being shoved around.

Laure giggled behind the door as Romeo grunted more. A few minutes passed by like that until she finally unlocked the door. Inside she had dressed up Romeo in a short skirt and crop top. His hands were tied together in the back and so was his ankles. "He's such a pretty doll," she said, clapping her hands. She clearly didn't see him as a person, but she never really did with others. She walked over, grabbing his chin, inspecting his face, "he has such a girly face too ... Maybe he should've been born a woman," she pondered. Romeo had been gagged, his hair being messed with meant it hung in to his eyes, looking rather confused and scared. He had told Romeo about his past traumas and this seemed a little too close to home for the lycan as he was visibly trembling.
Laure let go of his face, touching him down along his torso. "is that why you like him Eden? Because he has the face of a woman and the body of a young boy?" she giggled, playing with the hem of the skirt that Romeo was wearing. "Though there is a part of him that does seem more grown up," she said, this made Romeo push back, or he tried to at least. "Behave, kiddo, or you're going to ruin all the fun I have planned," she said before looking at Eden, "doesn't he look nice in a skirt ... So easy to just bend over and take."

Someone he loved? She had to scoff. How could he love a lycan? They weren't even real people, just dogs that took up human forms! Was he seriously comparing their life to that of a dog? Romeo looked at Eden as he spoke, tears in his eyes as he was clearly scared right now, but being bound and gagged didn't help with conveying that. Laure looked at her brother with disgust as he started shifting focus, walking closer to him, "You don't love him Eden! Not like you love me," she protested, gesturing to the lycan who was shaking, "have you considered that maybe I was starting to worry that you wanted me gone? Gone like ... Our parents?" Laure was a natural at playing the victim. Romeo looked confused from Eden to Laure before the female vampyre started explaining, pushing the lycan to sit down on a divan.
"Eden killed our parents," she said overly dramatic, "after he took my virginity, he wanted me for himself, so he killed our parents." Romeo's eyes were rather confused, looking at Eden as that wasn't really something he believed. What? It sounded crazy, right?

There. He finally admitted it. He finally said what he had been dying to say for so many years now. And yet she felt nothing. Had she always felt nothing? Romeo was confused and scared at the same time. How was he supposed to react to this? Nothing in all of his studies had he ever learnt anything about how to handle such a topic. But as Eden spoke about letting him go, Laure got a twisted smile on her face. "Oh Eden ... You know I like it when the two lovers end up in the end for one last heated scene of passion," she said, getting up she moved the lycan around with ease, bending him over. "I want you to fuck him raw, and realize that love was never in the cards for you or me," she said and it made Romeo squirm, she grit her teeth punching the lycan harshly making him whimper. "Shut up and take it you little whore," she hissed at the lycan before she gestured to her brother to just go ahead.

The gag was removed and the lycan panted, saliva dripping from his mouth as he had had a hard time swallowing it. He looked scared, but it was like his body was conditioned to trust Eden. It was clear the female vampyre wasn't satisfied, but Romeo just looked at the vampyre as he moved the hair out of his eyes so he could see him better. "I ... Love ... You," he panted, but this clearly made Laure furious to hear, grabbing the lycan by the chin, "oh I get it, you enslaved him, is that it?" It was clear she was inspecting his eyes, trying to find clues as to why the lycan still was so loyal. It shouldn't be like this, it was clear the female vampyre had hoped for more spite. "Honesty," Romeo reminded Eden. It was all he had ever asked for, and it was all he was ever going to ask for. Sure, knowing the truth was hard and he didn't know how to deal with it, but Eden had been honest with him.
