Kareema entered, her face filled with anger, her phone in her hand. “I just got off the phone with Josette’s lawyer. There wont be a trial, because Lucius Trevino is in a chemically induced coma! What the hell happened when you left?!” She was furious, because she had no idea how to tell the young vampyress. Eden had made sure to pull the covers up, at least to cover Romeo as best he could. He was panting lightly, calming down as they had been abruptly disturbed.
