“Yeah, we’ve been doing quite a lot of that.” He chuckled softly. He far from regretted it because it had relieved of so much tension and just been so filled with lust and bodily needs that it hadnt just been for distracting. The suggestion made him hum and he agreed to it. “Do you want to go out or stay in? We could make something or order.” He laid out the different options. While Eden wasnt much for cooking, it would probably be nice to do with Romeo.

He hummed softly at the lycan’s reply. “Sure. I know a fair few things about cooking.” He chuckled. Which wasnt a lie. In his long life had he picked up cooking as one of the things he learned. So maybe it was about time he showed off, at least just a little. Romeo spoke again and the way he sounded and looked so serious made Eden frown a slight bit. But it seemed to have been a tease as the lycan kissed him and revealed it in a whisper that made him realize he had been teasing him. The vampyre scoffed and moved his hand to gently touch the back of his hair, running his thumb around just below his earlobe. “Okay.” He agreed, connecting their lips again in a sweet kiss.

It was nice that Romeo leaned into the kiss and Eden wanted to wrap his arms closer around him. Only that Romeo quickly turned his attention away and Eden didnt mind it. He leaned his head down to look on as the lycan scrolled for recipes. “Ravioli?” He repeated as he tried to remember what it was. But he agreed to it. The addition made him scoff. “It’s worth a try.” He smiled, for them to then head to the kitchen.
The mutter made him move on ahead, pulling out a bowl from one of the cupboards. “Flour…” he muttered, searching the cabinets. He eventually found a bag of flour that he placed next to the bowl. “Found eggs?” He asked the lycan, ubuttoning his cuffs to roll his sleeves up above his elbow.

Was it maybe a weird thought to realize that you barely knew your own kitchen? Yes. So he agreed witg Romeo, humming as the lycan thought out loud. “We should.” He sighed. It would also be a good way for them to spend time in a sense that wasnt just indulging themselves in each other. “I’m sure you’re a natural.” He said, watching as Romeo began mixing the ingredients. Eden went to go wash his hands before he began doing anything else. The last thing he wanted was to make the lycan sick from something he had touched. He was drying off his hands as Romeo showed him how to turn it all into dough and Eden hummed softly, a little impressed that it wasnt just falling apart. “Of course.” He replied, grabbing the dough to slowly knead it, making sure that it was getting all evened out. “Have you cooked a lot?” He asked, wondering whether it had been something he grew up with or simply an interest.

He felt a little bad as Romeo started out with remembering the things that had happened to him. That hadnt really been the point of asking and now that he had flour on his hands, it was also hard to comfort him. He watched him with careful eyes, because if there was any implication that it would affect him a lot, then Eden would go wash his hands. But it seemed that the lycan has it under control. He listened, looking down to see the dough get an even colour and not really be as sticky, but more like a semi dry texture. It wasnt breaking up. He frowned at the mutter, shaking his head. “It’s far from silly.” He said. If it had helped then it was good.
The attention was flipped onto the vampyre and he smiled a little. “Uhh… yeah, boredom and then the fact that it was somehow easier to make any unsuspecting victim trust me more it seemed. Maybe they found it weird that a vampyre had picked up on cooking, and that made me less of a threat?” He pondered but shook his head. “I cooked with my chefs to learn, and because I’m fairly young among vampyres, it’s easier to remember it all.” He said before the ball of dough was done. He began rolling it pit to a desirable size, though kept checking with Romeo if he wanted it flatter or thicker.

“I feel it should be the opposite. But maybe it’s because I know what my intentions would be if I cooked for someone just to impress him or her.” He said with a small hum as he pondered on it. “Of course not all vampyres have evil intents, but we do have our hunger.” He shrugged. He smiled a little as Romeo showed him how to deal with the pasta dough. Was the lycan showing off now? He wondered. The question made him pause for a moment before he smiled a little absentminded. It was a good memory even if it had all been a ploy for some playtime. “I was once taught this homemade stew. It was quite simple but also complex to get just right.” He said before he looked at Romeo, leaning over to kiss his temple before he went to dry his hands off, at least not feel completely covered by flour from the table. He returned after with the wet cloth in his hands, watching over the lycan and what he was doing.

“You are a natural.” He praised him softly, trying to remember the amount he wanted in each. “No I want to make something you’ll like more.” He said. It was very hard for him to enjoy mortal food so he might as well opted to make it good for the lycan. He’d eat it regardless because the lycan had made it.
“I want to do this more.” He said, reaching up with a clean hand to touch the back of the lycan’s neck, running his fingers up to his hair to caress his scalp with his fingertips. Granted that he wasnt distracting him from making the ravioli.

Romeo brushed off the praise and it made Eden sigh softly. He somehow expected at this point that the lycan wasnt all that for compliments, but Eden felt it was important to praise skills such as this one. He focused on touching him gently, just wanting to help him loose up a little after how turbulent the day had been. He did feel a little bad for having contributed to the downs of today. “I do. But I also think I might’ve forgotten to specify what messes I do like.” He chuckled, to then look a little surprised as the lycan smeared flour on his cheek. He lifted his hand to brush it off with his fingers. “I like my own messes. But I’ve come to love the messes that you can make.” He explained, gripping his arm softly, just feeling his warm skin. “Are you being a brat with me right now?” He scoffed, moving his hand to touch the side of Romeo’s face, touching up a few strands of his hair.

Romeo said one thing but his tone said something else. It made a small smirk appear on the vampyre’s lips but then he went back to a more serious demeanor. “A little maybe.” He sighed. But it wasnt like he disliked it. He loved how the lycan challenged him and behaved like he wanted to. And he hadnt ruined his shirt yet, so it was managble. “I should make that sauce.” Now he was the one teasing a little as he let go of the lycan and went to get a pot. He found a few things to use, just preparing. “What would you like?” He asked, rather than trying to figure out what the lycan might like.

Tomato? Yeah, Eden had thought about that. He found the necessary ingredients, glancing towards the lycan, smiling at him warmly if their eyes met. He opened some cans of ripped tomatoes, but decided to add some fresh ones in as well for some texture. The mention of him being in the kitchen more made him scoff. For now he was pushing their little game away, but that was maybe the best option for him to tease; make room for the lycan to act out more. The tease about kids made him stop for a bit but then he scoffed and smiled, preparing the sauce just to keep his hands busy. “Well I’m not the italian that’ll have to show them the ways of pasta.” He remarked. But it was some good scenarios. Just them living a domestic life in happiness and harmony. “I’d imagine one little rascal who’d try to eat the pasta dough.” He said, glancing at the lycan, looking rather content now.

“I think you’d want to taste it and decide whether it’s worthy of serving to our children before handing me such an opportunity.” He said, but that was just because it meant that he could cook for the lycan, which he did want to at some point. Show that he wasnt just a snobby blood-sucker, even if he was. “You can just say you ate raw pasta dough.” He shrugged, his tone clearly implying in a teasing manner that he wouldnt judge, yet with the undertone that there would be full judgement. He smiled a little at himself after that comment. It was just a good vibe between them right now.
Romeo broke the quiet yet calming sound of the working pots, feeling the hand touch his arm. “Well we could always sneak off and get married in secret if you’re that much in a hurry.” He teased. But no way was he serious. Romeo had already said that he wanted a proper wedding. So that was what he would get. He could tell that the lycan was grasped by his emotions but it wasnt a bad thing at all. “I’m glad I can make you happy. It’s all I want. Well, that… and some other things that are far too indecent to not ruin the sweetness of this moment.” He said, ending it with a chuckle. He got out some seaoning, picking out some dried spices in their whole. Yeah, he was that rich. Placing it in a grinder he ground it to powder and lifted the stone bowl to let the lycan smell. “Do you like it?” He asked, lookin at him seriously. If he didnt then he would have to figure out something else.

Oh Eden would show him those things and more. But if he thought about it too much now he would get riled up. And that was not what he wanted now that Romeo wanted something domesticated and sweet. He watched the lycan smell the spices and hummed softly at the addition that needed for it to be perfect. He checked the spice cabinet and did find some dried saffron that he added and crushed with the rest. Once the tomato sauce was warming up he added the spices and mixed it around. The smell from the spices began spreading with the heat humes that bubbled from the pot. “Where would you want to get married? Any certain place?” He asked, looking at the lycan with a smile.
