Avila's plan had worked, and luckily the boss was pulled off of her in due time. Though her underwear was torn, he hadn't actually been able to get to her. Good for that. She was willing to do it if it had came down to it, but luckily it hadn't. She was shivering as Eden wrapped his jacket around her, bloody tears running down her face, ruining her pretty makeup. The boss was almost too stunned to say anything, especially as this was, from his point of view, completely consensual.
Avila noticed Judah out the corner of her eyes, but she couldn't look to him, not like this. She loved her brother, and she hoped he knew that this had been needed. That he trusted her enough. She was taken out to a car, and as she was seated next to Eden, she leaned on to his shoulder as she started to sob softly against him. Of course this was all a play on her side, but she couldn't just have gotten almost molested without crying. It also helped that her anxiety was easily triggered, shaking as she just sat there next to him, driving towards the hotel she was staying at.

She felt his arm still around her, comforting him and she felt quite happy that he was showing this side of himself. She slowly calmed down as well, only sniffling lightly as he told her how sorry he was. Her hand reached down, taking his, but it clearly was only about comfort. About feeling safe and protected, so she hoped he wouldn't dismiss her now. The car ride wasn't too bad, but she was still shaken as they reached the hotel. The car stopped and she eyed the hotel doors, her shoulders trembling as she wondered if he would let her go alone from this point on. She couldn't have that, turning around to look at his chest, her lips separating but it was clear she was struggling with words. "Please," she whispered, her voice raw from crying as she gave his hand a squeeze. "I don't think I can bear to be alone right now," she whispered, and nobody in their right mind would leave anyone in this state, let alone a victim, right?

It was truly going to be this easy, wasn't it? He held her, and she leaned into his comforting touch, perhaps enjoying it more than she led on. Reaching her room she was happy that there wasn't really a trace of Judah living in the room, as it was mostly her stuff laying around. She was placed on the bed, shivering still as she seemed to ground herself by touching the soft fabric of the bed. Often she used this method to calm her anxiety, and it seemed as if her body recognized it, relaxing more. Eden suggested her dress getting off and she looked down herself, realizing how torn the dress was. Her eyes welled up again, the sight upsetting her but she nodded a yes to getting out of the dress at least.
Struggling with the zipper in the back, she looked to Eden, but never looking up at his face. No she had to play scared and vulnerable, she couldn't just look a man in the eyes. "I think the zipper is broken," she had really liked this dress too, but it was a simple price to pay. She would let him help her get her out of the dress, showing her torn underwear beneath. Her chest was heaving, looking down as she was unsure of what to do. Well not really, but she wanted him to look at her. Did he not see the appeal in her yet? "I think we're past formality, sir .. But I .. I'm really sorry for being an inconvenience to you," she said, as if it had been something she had been told she was before, as if this had happened before at another work place.

He assured her and she tried smiling at him, though not looking into his eyes. Not until he had gotten her a large shirt. It was Judah's, but Eden didn't know that, so she just put it on. Now with her body covered she seemed to relax more. She moved back over to the bed, pulling her legs up and wrapping her arms around them. Looking rather lost, she started to speak, just to get emotions out. Besides could he blame her from wanting to think of other things right now? "I miss my brother," she whimpered softly, looking down at her knees. It was easy for her to talk about Judah without Eden knowing who he was. "He always looks out for me .. Always .. But he's so far away," she whispered, closing her eyes as she held back her tears. She was supposedly just a hurt girl in a big and scary world. "I'm all alone here .. I have no friends or family I can talk to .. I was hoping to make friends at work, but I don't know how to." Was she believable enough?

He sounded so sweet and genuine. She wondered why he hid this side of himself, but perhaps it was the same reason why she only was truly herself around Judah. She scoffed softly as he stated that he couldn't understand her reasoning to be friends with those at the office. "It would at least be someone I could greet in the morning .. Or sit with during lunch," hadn't he noticed how she purposefully always stayed at her desk when lunch rolled around? Taking a few deep breaths, she leaned her head against his shoulder as he sat next to her. It was a comfort thing, nothing less, although she did long to know him better. Anything he could do? She just reached her hand down, holding his as she had in the car, "I think I would want a shower," she admitted. That would've been her first intuition to do after that old man had touched her anyways. "His hands .. they .." but she stopped herself shaking her head and closing her eyes. She didn't want to remember that, she wanted to forget it had ever happened. "If you could .. Help me out to the bathroom?" she pleaded softly.

He carried her out to the bathroom and she sat down on one of the small chairs out there as he turned on the water. He spoke of leaving and panic rushed through her eyes, reaching out to take his hand, shaking her head no. "Please .. Please don't leave me," she pleaded with him, clearly desperate not to be left alone. No, if he left the room he would be out of her reach and probably ready to go home once her shower was done.
She stood up, letting go of his hand if he had promised to stay. Turning her back to him to keep some modesty left she got out of the large shirt as well as her underwear and bra, both which were torn and in a rough shape. Leaning on the wall she went under the water, just standing there as the droplets cleared her hair and face of any residue of makeup or hair spray. She was still shivering, trembling perhaps, as she had to keep up the act.
That was when Eden's phone started buzzing. Avila widened her eyes, turning her head to look at him. What would he do? Pick up the phone or leave it ringing? She wondered, as her eyes looked vulnerably at him.

Avila nodded, letting Eden take the call, carefully touching her body and washing herself clean. She wondered if it would be someone from work calling them. Or perhaps, just maybe, the rumor of everything that had happened would've traveled far enough to reach the interns. Far enough to reach this supposed fiancé.
As Eden finally picked up, Romeo was clearly upset on the other end of the line. He hadn't known what to do with himself when the rumor had spread. He had simply left the building, ran into the woods and transformed out of pure raw emotion. There had been so many stories, but all of them seemed to lead back to Eden having a promiscuous affair with his new secretary. "Where are you?" he asked, his throat tight and he sounded almost animalistic. He was still outside, the connection not the best, but he just wanted to hear what was truly going on. He could hear water running in the background, frowning as he felt his heart beat faster. His breath started to hiccup, not knowing what to say.
"E-Eden?" Avila called from the bathroom, and as soon as Romeo heard that voice he felt like his worst nightmare was a reality. He broke down crying where he was, his heart broken into a thousand pieces by the man he loved so dearly. "D-don't call me," just said, hanging up right away.

Avila looked surprised as Eden entered, clearly upset about something, and his words made her look down. Her eyes watering, but she nodded, "I'm sorry," she just whispered, wrapping her arms around herself as to hide away. Perhaps it was best he left now as her contacts were barely hanging on for dear life as she was in the shower. "I feel so selfish .. Please go find him," she encouraged him, because if a confrontation was to happen then she wanted Eden to be thinking of her the first chance he got. "I'll .. I'll clear your name down at the reception .. If you find the time, please come visit me," she was so polite and modest, and she hated it a little bit. However it was also her chance to call Judah and tell of her triumph.

Romeo had dropped his phone as soon as he had hung up, his body shaking too much, forcing him back in his lycan form. He wasn't even sure where to go, he just circled around the same spot like a trapped animal. How long he had just been roaming he wasn't sure, but that was when he heard a familiar voice. His ears turning in the direction the voice had come from, growling even if it wasn't because he wanted to hurt him. He was sad and hurt, confused and upset. Anyone would've reacted this way, at least with the trauma that Romeo had experienced.
Kareema had been right. Eden had already grown tired of him. He had been avoiding him for weeks and it had all started on that evening after the maze. Even trying to get frisky later on in the week had proved itself unfruitful. At first he could excuse it away on him being busy at work, but hearing what busy now could mean, he felt so broken. Drawing nearer the vampyre, his beastly form towered over him, his hazel eyes hurt and angry.

Romeo moved away, growling as Eden reached for him, his jaw clenching as he looked at the vampyre with searching eyes. What Eden said had to be the most cliché words in the history of sentences. The lycan wasn't thinking about getting hurt, because could he really hurt more than he already was? With Eden he had found a place to love, a place to be himself. He had found arms that could hold him at night, make love to him and still find time to talk about anything and everything. However now he wasn't sure who he was looking at.
As Eden did get to touch him, all of those emotions were just contradicting what he said. Growling he pulled away, even snapping at him, whimpering as he moved a few paces back. His eyes said it all, didn't it? Romeo knew how cunning Eden could be, how persuasive and manipulating he could be if he really needed it. However he shook his head, howling in frustration, but it sounded more like a sorrow-filled cry.

Normally Romeo would've listened to that pleading voice. Listened to the man he loved who spoke of sanity and talking things out. But how could they talk about something that Eden couldn't even admit to? Romeo knew what he had felt! He knew of the guilt within the vampyre! So the question of cheating wasn't even on the table anymore. For all Romeo knew, it had just been confirmed. However it seemed the vampyre changed tactics, showing the mark that made his heart ache. He had carved that letter into the man he loved, but he wasn't sure he could recognize that man anymore. For how could he look at him, knowing full well that he had cheated on him, and yet still love him and long for him as he did? He was angry at himself, angry at Eden, but worst of all he was angry at Kareema for being right. There was nothing to talk about, was there? Romeo's eyes moved away from the mark, his eyes having grown cold and distant, shielding himself from the hurt he was going through right now. And that was when he took off. No words exchanged on his behalf, nothing to say, and his emotions were running too wild for him to even change back at this point.

Romeo was quickly tackled to the ground, and while he was faster than a vampyre, he wouldn't ever come close to taking one on like this. He whimpered, shaking Eden off of him to get up on his four paws once again. Seeing the ring his eyes softened up, as if he was finally being reached. He nudged his snout against his hand holding the ring, whining softly as it made it sound like he was crying. Opening his mouth he placed something in Eden's hand. Something that both of them had made a promise over which was his engagement ring. Handing it to him could be understood in many ways, but the way Romeo looked at him, it was clear he was conflicted about whether this was even a relationship anymore. He needed time to think. To consider everything and what had been said tonight. But he couldn't simply transform back and say it - it didn't work like that when his emotions were as unruly as his was right now. He whimpered, placing his snout against the mark where he had marked Eden, whining as he leaned away. He couldn't talk now. He wasn't sure if he would ever be ready to talk when his heart was hurting this much.

Being pushed away was what made him sure that this was the right time to break it off. If Eden couldn't even have him near, then it was better to just run. He howled, running off into the woods, as far away as he could as he tried focusing on his animalistic instincts instead of his broken heart that was beating faster than ever.

Avila had gotten into a new set of underwear, having called Judah, telling him that he should take another room at the hotel, just in case their father aimed to return. She had also told him of her plan, how everything was going to plan now, yet keeping the part about Romeo secret still. Perhaps because she still needed that as a trump-card down the line. She made sure to put in a new set of brown contacts, just adjusting her wet hair in the mirror. She was wearing a loose nightgown with a robe over her shoulders to give her a cozy look.
