They all grow up so fast

“Nahhh, not a lot. I’m practically ready to fall asleep,” he told her, with a calm smile. He didnt want her to worry about him too much, so he had made sure to finish up before calling her so she’d know that he would just fall asleep once they ended the call. But then there was the blushing and he wasnt sure if he felt worried or disappointed, not about her but in Amos - With the daemon’s well known reputation and Connor knowing exactly what he felt, he could only begin to guess what tricks there could be up his sleeves. He sighed at her plea but he nodded, looking down for a second. “I’m not mad at you, I promise,” he assured her but he couldnt get the worried expression to go away for a bit. It was better to just let it slide.
So when she showed him the tv, he went back to his tired smile, listening to her explain before he saw her face again. “The beach? Is the water still nice?” He asked curiously. He hadnt been out as much as the rest when he wasnt spending his time with Saoirse, so he wasnt sure if the weather still warmed up the sea. Either way he smiled because it sounded like she had fun.
“Tessa had been talking about a couple of movies she’d like us to watch. I told her to discuss it with you, but I think I saw a couple of good choices,” he said with a shrug. Tessa always liked to plan out the whole thing and make sure everything was in order. “She went crazy on buying snacks today. So I do hope you’re in the mood for that,” he said with a chuckle. Her question made him pull a thoughtful expression as he looked at his ceiling for a bit. “I’ll pick you up at 2. Mom needs the car till then, and I’d rather get you wit the car than my bike..... Is that alright?” He asked, narrowing his eyes a little at her. If she wanted him to come earlier, he would have to figure out a plan. But then he remembered her speaking of a surprise, “Do you need more time?” He asked, though he wanted to ask about it, he didnt want tp pry and make her spoil anything.

“We’ll see,” he promised her with a smile, because he couldnt really bother to think it through now. But he probably had a hole in his schedule for them and a trip to the beach.
“You know she did,” he promised her with a chuckle, knowing his sister well, it was quite possible that she had kept score on what Saoirse ate the most of. He found it somewhat endearing that Tessa would do that for her, but his sister had always been caring, even if she was a little odd about it. He nodded when she said it was fine, raising his eyebrows as she mentioned an assignment, “Anything you need help with? You can just bring it with you,” he said.
He struggled a bit to keep his eyes open but he didnt want to stop talking to her yet. “I’m excited to see it,” he said, looking around his screen to look at her features. He shortly looked at her lips but he didnt want to stare too much. “Me too... But I’m gonna try and sleep now so I can be rested for tomorrow. Have a good night with Amos alright?” He said with a bright smile before waving at the screen followed by a sweet “byeee!”. He only got to place his phone on the small table next to his bed before drifting off.

Amos came back into the livingroom as they were still talking, leaning against the frame. He didnt say anything but just sat down before looking at the tv screen. He heard Connor’s bye and frowned a little before he shook his head, with a slight eyeroll. He looked at her and noticed how happy she seemed to be after talking to Connor. He didnt say anything but a part of him wondered why he hadnt seen her like that when she had been talking to him? Was he really that mean to her? He decided to shrug it off and not mention it. “Do you miss him a lot?” He asked, keeping his eyes on the tv screen.

He just nodded at her answer and had let her rest her head against his arm. He just found it hard to contain his jealousy when he seemed to make her so happy, while Amos found himself struggling at times. “I see,” he just said in a low tone, lifting his arm to wrap it around her and hold her close. He was still bothered by it but he didnt seem to want to talk about it or have to explain. He leaned his head back a little and looked shortly up at the ceiling. “You wouldnt ever be happy with just one of us, would you?” He asked, but it didnt seem to be because he wanted to eliminate Connor in some sort of way. It was weird because the mere presence of the seraph, even through a screen could make the daemon forget what they had just been doing right before - Like it was just pushed as far away in the momet as it could be.

He knew it wasnt her fault, as much as he wanted to blame her it just wasnt possible for him. He had thought it all through in the time after the confrontation and came to the conclusion that things were as they were. But that also meant that he couldnt really control his jealousy, only how he chose to react from feeling it. Lashing out was what he did best but his intentions as for this moment wasnt to hurt her or show his insecurities that he thought might have been shown too much. “I saw how you looked at him,” he then said as he looked at her, touching her cheek gently as he frowned a little bit. “I’ve never seen you look at me that way. Is it because I have pushed you away?” He asked, grabbing her chin in a loose grip, but it wasnt to control or constrain her, just to hold her face as he looked at her.
Her suggestion made him sigh quietly to himself as he let go of her and looked back at the tv, “What do you have in mind?” He asked. The duvet sounded tempting but he wasnt sure that was a good idea. He felt a little conflicted because his mind thought of these signals as something that it wasnt. “I’m not Connor, I cant just get under the covers and cuddle to a movie” he mumbled, looking at her with serious eyes. He wasnt respectable the seraph, he wouldnt be able to keep his hands off her if he got the chance and was in the right mood and she had said before that she was scared.

It stung a bit to realize it had been his own fault and that Connor had been the one to try and comfort her, but at the same time he felt as if he had deserved the sting, if not just a little. He nodded with a sigh and looked at her just as she explained how she didnt want to upset him. “I’m very complicated to be around,” he admitted even though it was obvious. He ran his hand down her arm in comforting strokes as he thought about it for a while.
That was till she made her suggestion. He didnt know if she actually thought being with him would be like it was with Connor, but her question made him frown a little, “I’m never scared,” he lied but he lied quite well since he believed it to be so. He had been scared before, when Nova said that Saoirse couldnt make it without the bond. “I’m not scared of what could happen. It would just suck if you would regret it afterwards,” he said, looking shortly at her hand on his abdomen. He made a deep sigh and thought about her whisper. “Saoirse, I dont want to pressure you into something you wouldnt want.” He said, looking at her with serious eyes. Maybe they were just too far apart in what they longed for. It made him sad to think somehow.
“If we get seperate duvets, I’ll be fine,” he said as he still ran his hand up and down her upperhand in calm lazy strokes.

He couldnt really tell with her most of the time. To him it did seem worrying that she was so eager to not be scared when she seemed to quickly feel it at any given moment it progresses. But when he felt her hand between his legs he let out a soft sigh before he looked at her with uncertain eyes. He wasnt going to stop her but he did look at her as she spoke of needing her own pace. He glanced down at her hand, his body already reacting so strongly as his heart sped up. He closed his eyes and let out a few soft groans at every stroke, biting his lip a little. “That’s why I’m here for you,” he mumbled to her whisper, his eyes fixtated on her hand like he was in a deep hypnosis, except this one was just a pleasant feeling spreading throughout his body. “It’s not that pleasant,” he mumbled after a while when the pressure of the fabrics he wore finally seemed to get to him. It shouldnt have been that irritating but for some reason, even the smallest stroke of hers could make his length react just perfectly in need. It wasnt like with the other girls were he had to find something in them he liked: He liked all of her already.

He couldnt help but sigh and let out faint moans as she kissed his neck while her hand kept him on edge. He wanted more but something in him couldnt decide what he felt about this moment. Her whisper made him swallow as he leaned his head a little back into the couch, “Undress me. But I dont think we should do that... So if you want, you could stick your hand in?” He suggested, looking at her as he let her think about it. After all, they were going for the pace she wanted, so he wasnt going to pressure her into making a decision. He adjusted himself a little and spread his legs if she’d rather continue. What he didnt understand was why she wanted to focus on him, but he thought she may find it overwhelming if he did anything while she had her hand on his member. “It’s alright if you dont want to,” he then said, drawing in a deep breath.

It seemed that she had decided and soon he felt the soft skin of her hand wander underneath his clothes. He held his breath for a second and bit his lower lip a little harder as he looked down at what she was doing to him. “Fuck...” he mumbled and felt a bit taken aback. He thought it was the bond making him feel weirdly good, it had to be. He looked up at her and watched her expression as she seemed to take it in. Her grip made him move his hips a little but her jerk made him gasp. “Way better,” he mumbled a little perplexed. He looked at her and leaned his head a little towards her. “Is it alright if I touch your body?” He asked, lifting a hand to make a subtle gesture towards her chest to show that he wasnt going for anything that may seem dangerous to her unknowing.

He hadnt been lying when he said that this was all on her to control. He wanted her to know that nothing would be done without her getting the time she needed to think it through. Her soft careful movements made him moan softly, his hips subtly thrusting against her grip to keep the bloodflow at bay while still letting her keep control. Her nod made him smile but it faded as he saw her look at him just as she had looked at Connor. He forgot for a moment that he was in the middle of doing something as he looked at her with mesmerized eyes. And then he realized, placing his hands gently on her breast over the dress. He moaned at the softness he felt between his fingertips, gently massaging and stroking her breast with his thumb. Feeling her react so strongly to his touch made a wildness slowly crawl up in him, but he kept reminding himself to let her control it. He leaned in to kiss her just as he had done before, licking her lips gently to invite her tongue out. He kept squeezing her breast gently, his heart pounding fast with excitement as he lead the dance of their tongues.

He could feel her get eager while her grip seemed firmer. Even though it was her first time, his body seemed to feel it like she had mastered it. It wasnt that much about the movement itself as it was to feel her be so eager to please him while she seemed to enjoy it too. His tongue stroked hers and rolled around it, mixing their saliva while his moans muffled against her mouth. He felt himself nearing that edge but he wondered if she would be scared if he just gave in to the pressure that told him that holding back would make him combust. He felt her press herself against him, and his breath seemed to get a bit irregular and rapid... and then the doorbell rang. Her hand stopping made him clench his jaw a little as it was like letting all the air our of the balloon before it popped. He gasped softly for air, glancing towards the hallway. “You should probably go answer it,” he said, feeling his words a bit bitter coming out of his mouth, but she couldnt go hungry either.

He didnt want this to have ended too, but he had a feeling that it would have come to this either way. He just wasnt sure how long his body could handle all the edging before he would feel frustrated for the release he wasnt getting. Returning the kiss he watched her leave, seeing her linger behind before she went made him smile softly. He laid down on the couch and stared at the ceiling with distant eyes as his mind just recalled what had just been going on. With his eyes closed he heard her walk in with the pizza’s warm smell quickly filling the room. “Yeah,” he said before he got up from the couch to go to her room. He looked down at the bulge and sighed quuetly to himself, wondering if she would touch him like that again once they put on their movie. He returned to the livingroom and threw the duvet on the couch, if she wasnt sitting there, because if she was he would throw it over her before wrapping his arms around her to hug her close for a second. He wasnt going to let her suffocate, so he would naturally help her out, giggling to himself as he felt a bit devious.

“Oh please! Like I would have let you,” Amos said and rolled his eyes playfully at her. He let her hold him and just rested in her arms with a soft smile on his lips. He hadnt even noticed that he seemed to have opened up more and show a side of him that wasnt angry glares and snarky remarks. He looked at the remote as he was handed it, before he looked at the tv. He started scrolling through as he mimed some sort of countdown, at 0 he just picked whatever he had stopped at. “Hope it’s good,” he said before he placed an arm around her and held her close. He subtly smelled her hair and smiled a little to himself, letting out a soft sigh, “I actually like this,” he admitted, knowing he had spent a lot of time in the past on listening all he disliked.

“I like a lot of things,” he argued with a chuckle and shook his head. His smile turned soft as she complimented him and expressed that she liked this. He didnt reply but he just leaned in to snuggle his nose gently against her head for a moment. He wasnt that good with touchy feely things, unless they involved him getting frutrated or angry, so he didnt know what to say to her. He shrugged at her suggestion and looked at her, lifting his hand from around her side to touch her cheek for a short brush of his indexfinger, “We’ll see. My schedule changes every week,” he said. He wasnt quite as busy as Connor, so she could be with him most days if she wanted.
He grabbed the soda she offered but as she opened hers, he put it back on the table before grabbing hers to take a light sip. He knew from experience that most of the girls he had been with seemed to enjoy when they werent eating alone or just having him sit there with nothing but his souls... So he had adjusted quite well to just accept that his tastebuds wouldnt disclose how heavenly food could taste to some. “I’ll have some,” he said before grabbing a slice. He took a bite and chewed it thoughtfully before he frowned a little. “This aint so bad,” he said before he took another bite. Vegetables were easiest to eat, especially those that people seemed to dislike. Meat was hard because the svaoury taste that seemed to make people groan in delight, just seemed to him like a sour molded sort of taste. “I wont eat all of the slices you cant, but we could put them in the fridge for breakfast,” he chuckled before he finally started to pay somewhat attention to the movie.
