They all grow up so fast

It was hard to contain her excitement, especially as he said that he was willing to figure something out. She didn't mind if it wasn't a set day every week, as long as they could do something like this more often. He seemed almost changed, so relaxed he was and the way he didn't seem afraid to touch her. He grabbed her soda as she opened it, making her chuckle as she leaned against him, eating her second slice. Not that she understood much of that. He grabbed a slice himself, and as he said it wasn't too bad, she just smiled.
Finishing her piece she moved her arms under the duvet, snuggling up to him. Breathing in his calming lavender scent and sighing to herself. Last time she had been able to be this close to him, she had looked much younger. Under the duvet, she took his and, entangling their fingers as she just looked at the screen. She couldn't help but smile to herself. The movie was just some simple romantic comedy, not one she would have picked herself, but she thought it was a little funny. She did chuckle a bit as there was a scene with a man running through a supermarket to buy some girl flowers, only to drop the flowers running out of the store and the flowers getting run over by a truck.

Chuckling at the scene, she shrugged a little at his question. "I hope not, that would just be really bad luck," she said, nuzzling her head against his chest. She could still feel that emotion in her chest; The need to close her eyes and feel him again, but she wanted to focus on the screen for a little bit more. Seeing the rival appear, Saoirse chuckled a bit. "Why do these movies always pretend like you can only love one person?" she giggled, shaking her head. Maybe it was because her heart was split between two, but she didn't believe she could find happiness just Amos or just Connor. She needed them both in her life.
Turning her head she looked up at him, her eyes soft as she just studied his features. She wanted to take him in as he was right now. The relaxed daemon that seemed happy to have her close. She looked at his brows, how they sat so proudly above his piercing eyes. Down to his nose, that seemed sculpted by an artist. Then there were his lips. Biting her own as she looked at them, she felt herself blush just at remembering how they had felt against hers. She felt so relaxed, smiling a bit to herself as she just looked at him. "I love you," she said. However this wasn't how she usually said it in passing, this time it was heartfelt, and she felt her heart beat faster.

She guessed he was right, but she couldn't really know. In a way she envied the fact that some could simply love one person. It would make everything a little easier, but she also wouldn't trade what she had with Amos and Connor for anything. The only thing that worried her was how Connor was going to react to it all. He never said that he was against what she did, but sometimes she felt like he was secretly mad at her.
He returned those sweet words, making her smile and as he pressed his lips against hers, she felt herself get more eager to just get on top of him again. His question made her blush more visible, making her chuckle a bit as she leaned her forehead against his chest. "My mind is just moving fast ... I can't really seem to catch up to them anymore," she confessed with a sigh. "I feel like I'm being bad ... Thinking all of these things," she said, frowning a little.

She looked at him, her face still red, but his words were soothing. However she felt weird thinking like this, even if he said it was normal. It was hard for her to imagine everything, but she nodded at his words, swallowing a bit nervously. "I ... It's just what we were doing, you know, before the pizza," she said, feeling flustered even to speak about it. Her heart was beating faster, reliving the memory in her mind and it made her body react. "What would've happened if we hadn't stopped?" she asked softly, looking at him. She shook her head a little, looking down with her eyes, as he was keeping her face towards him. Her lips separated, wanting to put some words to the feelings she had, but it was hard. "And what it would feel like ... If you ... Touched me," she said, feeling vulnerable speaking about such things. She closed her eyes shut, pressing them harder together as she was trying not to seem affected, but her heart was beating fast and her face red.

He listened to her, but she felt nervous. He pulled away, and as her lips pouted a little from being separated from his, she soon enough smiled at those three little words. Three words that meant so much to her, especially coming from him. "I love you too," she replied softly, looking in to his eyes as this felt so surreal. He seemed genuinely happy and relaxed, and she wished he could stay like this at least for the rest of the night. Behind her she could hear the leitmotif of the main protagonist and hear how he had finally gotten to the girl he wanted. However that didn't matter right now, as the world just seemed to disappear when she looked in to his eyes.
