| Alyssa sent the daemon a brief smile as he called it bribery. Whatever it was, she was happy that it at least was working. The empusa was not caught up in purity of the race, only keeping that family close that eventual mixing of the races could cause. Just thinking of what kind of warrior a lycan and a daemon could create was rather pleasing in her eyes. And her niece, the daughter of Baal, would soon prove valuable, she just knew it. Simeon might've been cunning, but he couldn't see further than his own nose. As Andrew suggested that the other tiefling might be of use Alyssa nodded. "See it done, get in contact with some of our reliable priests and find a way to make her blend in - I trust you with this," she said with a smile on her lips. At the mention of her having to do the dirty work, Nithmeia reached out to grab the contract, but the daemon was faster."That wasn't part of our agreement!" she yelled out in pure panic. No. It was frowned upon to ingest another tiefling. She would never be able to return. "No ... No, please ... Please," she pleaded, reaching forward to grab the daemon's hand holding the contract. Alyssa groaned, looking to Andrew, ignoring the fact that the tiefling was grabbing to the daemon. "Please get it done as soon as possible ... But I'd like to keep the fenix here a little longer along with this sweet tiefling - I thing it would serve better regarding out little rascal Raziela," she said, turning on her heal to exit the room. |

| “Not even Raziela will be able to recognize her disguise, only us two will know,” he assured her before he looked at Nithmeia that obviously wasnt fond of the change of terms. But even if she was scared to be shunned away, hadnt she realized at this point that she wouldnt have been allowed to return anyway? He looked at her hand as she grabbed him, scoffing at her plea. “Dont try to reason with me. You read my story in that little book, didnt you?” He told her before he nodded at Alyssa’s words. He pulled his hand to himself before he got up from his seat. “He will die at your hands or all three of you die. One life to keep two alive,” he sentenced, not caring if it was breaking her heart. He put away the contract in a closet before locking it, turning to Nithmeia afterwards. He grabbed her arm and started pulling her back to the room with Salil and Dahria, even if she wasnt willing to follow his lead. “Name’s Andrew. But I have a feeling you would figure it out eventually,” he explained on the way to the room as he either dragged her or pulled.
Dahria sat on the bed, checking Salil’s hands as she had been lost in her thoughts about what could have happened. She had tried to follow, but the guards outside the door wouldnt let her pass, not for anything in the world. “I’m worried,” she mumbled to herself, but then footsteps were heard, getting louder and louder. |

| His words were cold, sending a shiver down her spine as she realized that he was in fact one of the boys that had lived there. Her vision blurred for a second, mostly because she feared what consequences that could have for her further down the line. He didn't look like a guy that would shy away from violence, and perhaps one day he would turn out to kill her in a pure fit of rage. His warning was clear as day; either they all died, or Salil only. Nithmeia felt guilty without even having committed the crime yet, but she knew what tiefling law stated clearly; the means of the many outweighed the needs of the few. Salil would die, she would be shunned, but the fenix would be allowed to live. Was that a fair enough trade? The empusa left and the brute grabbed her arm, forcing her to stand as she looked in to his dark eyes. Whoever the people living here were, they had created monstrous children, children that had grown in to adulthood with rage and hurt. Nithmeia didn't have a god complex, she knew she couldn't save anyone from the fate they had, but it saddened her as he gave his name. Piecing together with what the empusa had said she had a clear name, a new enemy in her life; Andrew Aelius. She was practically being dragged back to the room with the others, being pushed in as the brute followed, but Nithmeia was still healing, falling forward and landing on her knees in front of her two friends. Tears were falling from her eyes, her gaze hazy as she took a minute to gather herself and stand up. "Does she have to be here while it happens?" she whispered, turning to look at Andrew. Could he not spare her at least that? She would be judged either way, but the fenix was innocent in this. "She's just a child," she argued, sniffling as she looked at Dahria. She had been so kind, nurturing Salil back to health and now Nithmeia herself would show how inhuman she could truly be. Salil was confused, but from the looks of his kin, he knew it was bad, reaching out to the female but she turned from him. She couldn't handle his kindness, and least of all now. |

| There was something gratifying in getting to push around what his kind viewed as freaks, but it wasnt that he was hellbent on making her life a living hell; after all, she was unlike the rest, quite valuable now with the contract she signed. He could see the confusion in the fenix’s face, she was wondering what was going on and if he had hurt her friend. He looked to the tiefling, frowning at her whisper, “Yes. She does,” he confirmed. Crossing his arms, he shook his head at her argument. Couldnt she see that this was just how it had to be? It wouldnt be a crime without a witness and with Dahria seeing and knowing, Nithmeia could be certain that her crime would never fade away.
Dahria wasnt dumb, she could tell something was up. She moved out of bed onto her feet as she ran a hand through her hair to keep it behind her, “What’s going to happen?” She asked, frowning a little worried. She looked at Salil and then Nithmeia before the brute who seemed cold as stone. She went to Nithmeia, grabbing her hands gently. “Nithmeia look at me. What’s going to happen?” She begged to know, shifting between her eyes. |

| Nithmeia was shaking a little, her mind knowing that she had to do this but her body not willing to follow orders. The brute was clear, Dahria was to be a witness, and yet it didn't seem fair. The fenix came closer, holding her hands and pleading to know what was going to happen. The tiefling looked at the young girl, raising a hand to cup her cheek gently. "I'm going to become the monster I was created to be," she whispered, her red eyes bearing a hint of sadness before prying herself away from her. She looked at Salil, the male tiefling swallowing as he felt like he knew where this was going. "We can figure this out, we always do," he pleaded, but Nithmeia shook her head stepping closer to him, making him step back until he hit the wall. "C'mon Nithie ... You don't have to do this," he begged. Nithmeia felt her eyes spill over with tears as she held out her hand, drawing a few symbols in the air making the male tremble with fear. He knew those symbols, he knew what it meant. "Alright, alright you can have my essence ... Just ... Tell me once," he pleaded while Nithmeia drew the symbol carefully though with a shaking body. "Tell me that you love me," he said. The female tiefling whimpered shaking her head. She couldn't even lie to him when she was about to take his life, his whole being, and absorb it for her own power. "I don't," she whispered, and with those words she finished the symbol. Salil's body froze, standing still as if he was calm and complying, but both tieflings knew it wasn't the case. "Goodbye Salil," she whispered, tears running down her cheeks as suddenly energy seemed to be pulled in a long stream from Salil's chest, before the male collapsed, dead on the spot. Nithmeia closed her eyes as the energy found its way to her lips, her consuming it rather fast before herself moving to sit down on her knees. Sniffling she shook still. "It's done ... She's safe now, right?" she whispered, looking at her dead kin. |

| This was bad, worse than ever before, Dahria could feel it. No one was saying anything about what was going to happen, not even the brute who seemed to patiently wait in his end of the room. She felt Nithmeia’s hand on her face and looked into the red eyes as her own started to sting. What monster was she going to become? Dahria felt nothing but questions rise and it was making her frustrated. She wanted to stop her as she pried herself away but before she could turn around and raise her hand, she felt the brute’s eyes on her. He grabbed her by her shoulder and turned her while his big hands kept her in place. She wanted to hiss at him, but that wouldnt make him let go. She was forced to look as Nithmeia forced Salil to back up against the wall. Tears started running down her cheeks when she finally realized what was going to happen and in a hopeless attempt she tried to shake herself free from the brute’s grip; but Andrew wasnt budging, he wanted her to see this happen. “Why is this happening?” She asked in a whisper as her throat felt like it was twisting around itself, making her voice strained with emotion. “Please dont,” she begged softly, now crying when that was all she apparently could do - Cry and watch. Her two friends, one which she had spent so long on nursing back to health to save the other. Now to just die? She gritted her teeth and sobbed quietly to herself. She couldnt comprehend how it happened but suddenly something she couldnt explain seemed to happen between the two and Salil collapsed. It was then Andrew let her go and went to check and make sure the deed was done. He looked at the male tiefling as he had crouched down to him, nodding at Nithmeia’s whisper. He grabbed the male’s horn before breaking off a piece of it, which looked easy for him, but it really wasnt. He lifted the dead body over his shoulder before he turned to the door. If she wanted it, he’d give her the broken piece of horn and look at her. “The deal is sealed.” He assured her before making his leave.
Dahria just stood there, looking at there Salil had laid while her mind seemed to be processing. “You killed him,” she whispered as of realization had finally kicked in. “Why? He loved you like no one else...” She mumbled, feeling tears stream down her face. She looked at the tiefling in disbelief. “Tell me!” She demanded, raising her voice in frustration. |

| Nithmeia didn't like this, but she knew it was what had to be done. Salil had known there was no other choice either, but he had perhaps been noble enough to get himself killed as well if the roles were reversed. When the brute broke off Salil's horn, she whimpered softly, taking the piece that the brute offered her. Andrew hauled the tiefling over his shoulder, but before he could leave Nithmeia grabbed his wrist, shaking still but firm. "When you're done with him ... Please burn his remains at dusk," she pleaded. Maybe it would all be in vain, but the least she could do was ask for some sort of funeral. Her red eyes looked up at the demon, her gaze seemed void of emotions, but there was still a little spark. She let go of the demon, looking down at the piece of horn that Andrew had left her with. Dahria seemed to freak out, mumbling to herself as Nithmeia walked over to the window, seeing how the horn was glistening in the sunlight coming in. "I had to ... Or we all three would've been killed," she said in a weak voice, placing the small piece of horn in to one of her pockets on her shirt. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few," she mumbled, turning around to look at Dahria. The tiefling closed her eyes, a few last tears running down her cheeks before wiping them away with her shaking hands. "I wish I could tell you something better, but I can't ... I was born a monster and I will die as one, perhaps just looking differently," she whispered, touching the back of her hand, looking at her purple skin. It was so beautiful to her, the color deep like a galaxy far away. However slowly she started to change, the color of her skin, the purple becoming pale and move human like. Closing her eyes she felt the change happen all over, slowly morphing in to the human disguise she would soon come to wear permanently. |

| It was uncertain whether the daemon would do as she asked but he left the room with Salil to do whatever he was going to do with the deceased; or more murdered Salil. Dahria knew most would be frustrated with what had just occured, she was just frustrated that it had been the only way. Even then, if her behaviour seemed hurt or angry, it was all just worry for the tiefling. Salil had told Dahria in her secret hideout how he had felt. And Nithmeia knew tis already. Question really was, would she be able to live with what she had been forced to do? She explained what had been at stake and Dahria nodded, still feeling the tears from the loss poking in her eye, wanting eacape like the ground was yearning for teardrops to absorb. “You’re not a monster,” she refused, shaking her head. She noticed the change as it began to spread. Suddenly it was like the tiefling had left and now a human was here in front of her. She was beautiful. Dahria, who was still crying was baffled at her beauty, carefully moving closer to her. “Is this....” She whispered to herself in confusion, lifting a hand carefully to touch her cheek. What was done couldnt be undone, but what was the cost? “I’m sorry,” she said in a genuine tone, cupping the disguised tiefling’s cheek. But only for a second, instead she let go and wrapped her arms close around the other female, holding her close in a comforting embrace. |

| The young fenix protested, saying that Nithmeia was not a monster, however how could she not be? She had killed one of her closest and oldest friends, one that truly loved her, and now she was stranded in a world she barely understood with the fear looming over her head. Would the brute eventually kill her or would some other daemon find a way to end her life? Things were uncertain, but she had to focus, upholding her contract with the daemons. Nithmeia felt the change complete, opening her eyes, the color black, just a vague reminder of who she used to be, a few golden specs deep in the dark. As Dahria cupped her face, there was a point where she wanted to just lean in to that comfort, let that guide her, but then she felt the chill run down her spine, opening her eyes to look at the tear-filled fenix. Instead of accepting the hug, Nithmeia stood still for a while before pushing the young fenix away. "Don't do this ... I don't deserve this," she said in a cold voice. Never had she felt this lost, this cold to her bones, and yet she knew this had always been what she was supposed to be. A heartless monster, ready to kill at command and follow orders. She was a pawn, a life easily wasted, but it was only now, faced with her own mortality that she knew it was true. "Try and get out of here ... I'll see if I can negotiate something; Or perhaps see if you can flirt your way out through Raziela," she said, stepping away from her. It was best if she kept her distance. "I'm sorry ... I'm sorry you wasted your time when I knew that fate would never spare any of my kin," she said. |

| She could feel the tiefling just stand there and soon she felt the push as some distance was made between them. She frowned at her words, shaking her head in confusion. Would she rather be yelled at until she felt horrible? “Maybe not, but I’ve never been one to judge,” she admitted, wrapping her arms around herself. But still, the change in Nithmeia had shown, not just in appearance but behaviour as well. Dahria would give anything to roll back the time to just an hour prior to this and keep it there forever. “Dont worry about me,” she said in a serious tone, looking at the human-like girl in front of her. She could feel the wall building up between them and it stung. “You said it yourself. One life to protect the others,” she mumbled, shaking her head once more. “What’s gonna happen to you now?” She wanted to know. The door opened and a daemon pointed at Dahria, “Time to go, fenix. Get a move on,” he said, making Dahria look down. She grabbed a necklace around her neck and broke the lock to tear the chain apart. She offered it to Nithmeia. It was just a simple heart in a chain, old by the looks of it. “Keep it safe. In case I dont see you again,” she said in a soft tone, blinking a few times to herself. Even if Nithmeia wouldnt take it, Dahria would leave it in the room before she’d follow the daemon out. |

| Of course the fenix wouldn't judge her but could she not see the crime she had just committed? Could she not understand the value of life that had been taken away in a few minutes? Nithmeia felt the need to run away, to hide and never return, but she also knew that her job was far from done. She was to serve the daemons and with her lifespan she couldn't know when that service would be done. The brute returned and the tiefling took a deep breath, looking at Dahria as she handed her the small necklace. Why did she show so much compassion towards her? She looked to the brute, gesturing to her new disguise, before looking at the small trinket in her hand. Nithmeia felt confused as to why the fenix deemed her worthy of carrying an item that she seemed to care for. However she simply nodded, feeling her eyes water once more as this felt like a goodbye. Truth be told, even though they hadn't known each other for long, the tiefling had come to care for the young woman. She liked her spirits and how she seemed to carry herself. But they were at a crossroads, and it was time to end their brief time together. "Take care of yourself," was all she could say, as she couldn't exactly show how much she had grown to care for the other. Her dark eyes moved up to look at the brute, a defensive stare, before lifting her hand to draw something in the air in front of Dahria. Her words were daemonic, the infernal language that had been passed down for generations to access their powers. Even if the brute were to interrupt she would finish her chanting, a symbol appearing in the air that moved towards Dahria's body. Nithmeia let her arm down, feeling close to passing out as her abilities might've been strong, but it would still wear her out after how much she had used it today. "It will keep you safe," she whispered to the fenix, taking a step back and letting them leave unless the brute wanted to execute some anger on her. With this daemonic power Dahria would be safe, at least as safe as possible, and there was no more that the tiefling could do for her. |

| This was really a goodbye wasnt it? The way Nithmeia’s eyes seemed to water made Dahria frown as she realized the same as the tiefling; their path crossing again would be unlikely. That made Dahria’s heart hurt a little. The daemon looked at Nithmeia’s disguise, mumbling in their ancient tongue that she would never be able to hide. These other brutes werent like Andrew, they didnt seem to think twice or even think their actions through. “I’m not ready for goodbye’s,” Dahria whispered vulnerably, shaking her head. It was clear that the fenix didnt want to go voluntarily but how long could her bratty attitude hold up before the daemons would forget that they were tasked to protect her? The tiefling started drawing in the air and the daemon would have none of it. He went to the newly transformed and grabbed her just as it was too late. Whatever she had done had gone to the fenix. The brute hissed and struck the tiefling, making Dahria widen her eyes before jumping him. “Dont hit her ever again!” She demanded, pulling at his collar, but then he grabbed her. She looked to Nithmeia, her eyes saddened. “I’ll find you,” she assured her, just as the brute got her to let go and showed her out the room. “I promise,” she whispered as the doorframe cut the tiefling out of her field of view. |

| Nithmeia knew that this was an act of rebellion and as the brute struck her she hadn't been prepared, falling to the ground, feeling her cheek burn along with her face. He had hit hard, but not hard enough to break something - luckily. It seemed to set off the fenix, making her sigh, but she did appreciate the meaning behind it. Dahria was being dragged away and the tiefling sat on the floor, necklace in hand as she started sobbing. This was her fate; She was a captive and just as Andrew had told her in their ancient tongue, she would never be able to hide.
Raziela was passing through the hallway as she saw her brother, narrowing her eyes and then she noticed the dark hair. "Hey, where do you think you're going with my captive?" she hissed, grabbing her brother's arm. Her gaze was cold, however the fact that Andrew had the same eyes as Simeon was always cutting at her heart. "Release her," she demanded, folding her arms in front of her chest. |

| Dahria wasnt sure where she was being taken, but it didnt seem to be anything good. Maybe this was the moment where he would throw her on the street and tell her to never show her face here again. Luckily for her, Raziela spotted them. The brute groaned at the empusa’s hiss, but he didnt quite release the grip on the fenix yet. “Your captive was about to meet her end,” he answered coldly, letting go of Dahria as Raziela demanded it. He looked at the fenix, looking her up and down before he looked at his sister again. “Get her the fuck out of the house. We caught her meddling with the tiefling, they had searched the cellar and found this,” he said as he pulled out the necklace that the empusa might recognize. |

| "Drop the facade, Andrew, there's no reason to be bitter," she said, rolling her eyes as the fenix got released. It wasn't like Raziela wasn't capable of love, but she was very good at hiding it. She cared for her siblings, probably more than they realized, and all she did was to protect their family values. Then Andrew seemed to look at the fenix and then her. What was going on inside of his head? He had been acting strange ever since a couple of weeks ago, but she still hadn't figured it out yet. Then he mentioned her and the creature snooping around, making her frown, but in reality she didn't believe it before she saw the necklace. A rush of memories fell through her, but she reached forward, grabbing it and pulling it to herself. "That's mine, thank you very much," she mumbled. She had left it at the house and to be fair she thought that she had lost it forever. There was nothing special about it, at least not to outsiders, but Andrew knew that Raziela had worn that necklace almost religiously when she was a child. She looked at the pendant, a fine locket with silver details, and she knew just what it contained. "Are you trying to fool me, brother? Trying to find my weakness?" she asked calmly, a glimmer of anger in her black eyes. "Because I can kill that fenix myself if you wanted me to; don't you think I know what Alyssa has been going around and whispering in your ear?" she scoffed, looking at the fenix. "She's a warm body, nothing else," she said coldly. |

| Andrew ignored her request to drop the facade. Even if she wanted him to drop the bitter attitude, he wasnt going to let the fenix in on the family intrigues of the Aelius’ siblings. He knew his claim wouldnt stick unless he provided proof, the necklace would luckily be proof enough. Why he wasnt mentioning that Dahria had the book as well was for the unknown; maybe he wanted the fenix to learn the truth about his bloodline before she got herself too entangled with his sister. “You can think what you want Raziela,” he dismissed her just as cold, before he looked at the fenix. “Maybe she’ll be able to do something the others couldnt,” he mumbled, leaving the two of them to Raziela’s final words. Dahria wasnt sure what to think of it all, but she did frown a little at Raziela’s words. “A warm body? Creative. Which ancient book of denial have you dug that one out?” she scoffed before she went past the empusa to walk out on the balcony; she wasnt allowed to leave the house but she was yearning for the outside. And even if she wouldnt admit it, there was something hurtful about the way Raziela had handled the situation with Andrew. She wrapped her arms around herself and looked at the sky, before she closed her eyes and sighed deeply. The wind was cold, but she didnt mind for now. |

| Raziela hated when people tried to figure out her weakness, but she couldn't deny that Andrew was right. The others she had been with had never even managed to scratch the facade of what she was, and the fenix seemed so willing to do so. However why should she admit that in front of her brother? She looked at the locket, running her fingers over the small engraved petals as Andrew left. The fenix of course wasn't happy about the use of words, but it would be stupid to say something that might endanger her. The empusa could be cruel, but somehow she had taken an interest in the young Dahria. As the woman scoffed at her, Raziela just seemed captured by the small locket, looking up as the fenix left for the balcony. Breathing out in a faint sigh, she placed the locket around her neck, stuffing it under her shirt. She then stood between two choices: Go and talk with the fenix or leave and find out what Alyssa was planning. While the last option was the most optimal thing for her, she knew that their leader was secretive, and if Andrew knew something it would be better to seek him out later. Stepping out on to the balcony she turned her gaze towards the fenix, and it was clear she was angry. "Who gave you the right to rummage through this house?" she asked in a sour tone, shaking her head as she was trying not to reach out and just push the fenix over the balcony. "I am not your girlfriend, I owe you nothing, and you're acting like some stupid teenager in love," she hissed, grabbing on to the railing of the balcony to hopefully ground herself. "I said what I said, now get it through your skull; I am not someone you fall in love with, I am not someone who falls in love," she said through gritted teeth. Perhaps this was why she was so jealous of Andrew. How he had seemed to find something that Raziela also wanted, but she was too proud to open up to someone like that. |

| She hadnt expected that Raziela would join her as she stood there and drew in a few deep breaths of the evening air. She closed her eyes and listened to the empusa’s question. She shrugged, “You didnt say I couldnt,” she answered, opening her eyes. She hadnt meant to take anything, all she had wanted was to look. But outing Nithmeia in that way could land her in great trouble and Dahria didnt want that for her friend. Raziela could hiss and spit venom all she wanted, it didnt seem to faze Dahria the slightest. “Fine. Dont fall in love then,” the fenix said with a shrug, stepping closer to Raziela. “You’re the one who is blowing this whole ordeal up, scolding and hissing at me,” she said as she stepped closer and closer, placing her hands against the railing as she looked down at the smaller female between her arms. “Are you afraid of taking chances and seeing where this could lead? Or is because you like to be in control of everything in your life?” She asked a little more serious. |

| Stupid fenix. The whole race was clearly full of morons with death wishes. Raziela felt all of the things that had started to grow for Dahria just crumble, because this was not something she wanted. It was just a stupid thing, and the daemoness would have to let it go. When she stepped closer, her black eyes looked up at the blueish-grey ones, not feeling intimidated. The serious question made her scoff. "Now there you're wrong - I don't control my life; I'm part of the Order of Empusas," she said, straightening her back. "When they say kill, I kill; When they say sleep, I sleep; When they say get married, I get married," she said, her eyes turning colder and more distant. "Being with you or any female would mean no chance of procreating," she said. Raziela knew she wasn't fit to be a mother, but she would do what she was told, and following orders was what she had done all her life. "I am not a victim, I am not a weakling, rather I understand the greater good; My life is worth nothing in the grand scheme of things," she said. It was clear that it was what she truly believed, mostly because she had had so many years coming to terms with it, and perhaps in a way she saw it only fit for what she had once done. "I wonder if you are my complete opposite, as you couldn't even protect your own brother," she said in a cold voice, removing the fenix' arms and heading inside. |

| Nothing had to be easy with this girl, Dahria could already tell. She frowned a little as she let her talk, though she couldnt really hide that she wasnt buying every word. Was she really supposed to believe that Raziela did nothing more than follow orders? She however kept her mouth shut, and just looked at her. She was right that they werent able to actively procreate but she had to scoff, “You’re so medieval, holy shit,” she mumbled as she shook her head. But then she started speaking of being a victim and when she turned it towards Dahria, the fenix’s frown got more prominent as the empusa removed her arms and moved inside. She stood for a second before she rolled her eyes and followed. “Let’s roll it back then. Following orders? Whose orders? Clearly not your leader’s, because I wouldnt be here if that was so,” she said in a bratty tone, crossing her arms. “And I’m not acting like a victim in regards to what happened to my brother. But I thought at least you would have some sort of understanding in what it’s like to lose a sibling in that way,” she said before she made a deep sigh and shook her head. “Guess I was wrong. I’m done playing these games with you. How do I get out of here?” She asked, though she felt bad for leaving Nithmeia behind. She just had to believe that she had made some sort of deal with the brute that would ensure her survival. |

| Raziela scoffed as she moved inside, feeling anger bubble inside of her. She had been weak for a moment, hoping that someone had been able to actually see past her attitude, for someone to grab her and tell her that she wasn't alone, and yet the fenix had failed. However the fenix was persistent, moving after her and asking all sorts of questions, with answers that the empusa could not give. Raziela turned around, looking at Dahria with a disappointed look in her eyes, however that turned to genuine hurt at the mention of losing a sibling. "Never compare us," she hissed angrily, grabbing the fenix and pushing her backwards, holding her wrist. "These games are my life ... I depend upon them, I need them or else it will all have been for nothing," she said in a hushed voice. It was as if part of her cold exterior softened up a bit, looking directly in to the eyes of the fenix. "My brother didn't just die ... He was murdered; And I intend to find his perpetrator and seek justice," she said, her hand holding the fenix' wrist shaking a bit before letting go. She took a step away, her eyes evading Dahria as she shook her head. "Just leave ... Get out," she said, her voice retreating to her cold and empty voice. It didn't matter anymore. |

| The hiss and how she pushed her back just confirmed what Dahria thought; that the empusa did understand that pain. She gritted her teeth a little at the grip around her wrist but she didnt fight it. She just looked into those dark cold eyes and remained silent. The way her eyes softened up even for just a second made up her mind. She wasnt going to give up this easily. “Well you dont have to be alone in your mourning, even if you think you’re better off.” She argued but then she felt the grip loosen around her wrist. She sighed and looked down. “You’ll get nowhere if you dont broaden your horizon. Whenever you feel like talking, you’ll know where to find me,” she said before she looked at the empusa. Maybe this would kill her in the long run but she didnt want to give up, she just couldnt keep pushing. She made her leave and felt that quick rush of regret, looking back at the house but deciding to keep going. So much for being the adventurous type? |
