New Obsession? Or just a way to pass time? [cw]

He had tried a lot of things with different people but it hadnt been often that it had felt this raw, tense and yet so perfectly irritating. It ticked off all the right buttons and as Romeo finally gave him the words that he wanted, he let the high roll over him. He moaned in delight and unloaded himself onto him, the pressure definitely not keeping it from being a little messy. He didnt need long to recover though it had been amazing. “Maybe.” He sighed, lifting himself up to look at Romeo’s face and then down his body. It was quite beautiful, like a tarnished painting that was only for him to see. “You dont have to behave. I quite like teasing you like this when you misbehave.” He admitted, watching as the lycan touched the seed just to put it in his mouth. “I wanted to but I didnt know if you would bite or just crumble completely.” He chuckled, taking off his ruined shirt before he used it to clean off his stomach and chest. He wasnt barbaric and left him there with all that mess. He then laid down next to him, sighing deeply. He looked up at the sky, moving his hand to press up against the back of the lycan’s.

“Maybe I just wanted you to take my hand first.” He chuckled, feeling their fingers entangle. They probably seemed like two lovers laying there in the grass after a heated exchange. Eden’s throat had healed up neatly, though the blood had dried up and there was no sign of him ever being bitten. Laying there in silence he just rubbed the back of the lycan’s hand with his thumb. This felt good, like those times ten years ago with the nephilim. Not that he would admit that to himself but it was nice to know that he could feel that again.
“Of course.” He said, looking at Romeo as he kissed his hand. That somehow made him feel just as good as he had felt before. The way he was so loving towards him. He watched as he left laying for a bit. Somehow it was like whenever he was having a good time for himself, guilt began creeping up on him as his mind imagined his sister being there, hvaing seen everything. Somehow he actually liked it this time. He wanted her to see this if he could, just to see how it would make her feel. He shook her out of his mind and eventually got up. He had to clean off the blood and saliva before they could go anywhere.

He had a smoke before he went back inside but pretty much just left the cigarette burning out on the ashtray. The champagne bottle he placed on the table on the balcony with his shirt and glass, though the shirt he probably just had to throw out. The lycan was in the walk in closet and he went to the bathroom and rinsed off his neck and chest, drying it off in a towel. Being a vampyre was easy like that because he never had to worry about sweat or his body producing oils. Cleaning was pretty much like using a wipe on a surface. He came back into the room as Romeo came out, the outfit sitting quite nicely on him. “You look perfect.” He said in all honesty. How could a lycan look so flawless? He went through his own clothes, deciding on a light brown turtleneck, softer than a normal shirt and ever slight see through. He put on a jacket as well in a dark grey and changed his pants to something a bit highwaisted so when he tucked the shirt down, it got a slight bag effect that sat nicely with how the rest of the shirt sat around his body. He returned to the lycan and looked at his family sigil on his finger, deciding to take it off and place on the nightstand. “Let me see you a little better.” He said, walking up close to the lycan, inspecting his clothes, placing a hand on his hip as he felt the fabric. “Ah, yeah, you do look perfect up close as well.” He said with a glimmer in his eye, letting go of him.

“Sure. I’d love to see you in it.” He said returning the smile with a warm one. He was rather genuine and honest in his words and his touches. Which was actually quite interesting considering how reserved he usually was. With Gerard had he been afraid of being too forward, with Romeo he was not shy of showing or saying what he wanted as long as it fit the mood. He tilted his head as the lycan checked him out, liking that he was watching him like this. “Dont stroke my ego.” He said in a humble tone with a chuckle.
They headed out and he heard the whisper too, eyeing the woman with a curious glance. Though there was no real interest in the couple.
The door was held and Romeo’s remark made him chuckle, shaking his head. “So well mannered.” He said, eyeing the lycan shortly. He really hadnt been lying when he said he would behave, though Eden knew the sir was teasing him. He however waited for when they were outside before he spoke of it, leaning in. “I guess it’s fine that you call me sir after what you said in the garden.” He said in a lowered tone, smiling as he leaned back away.
They left and Eden knew where to go. The whole place was a sight in itself, no roads or ways for cars to get in. To add to the whole charm were people pushing carts down the roads, some people dressed up to fit the time period, though it was also apparent that regular people lived there as well. A young girl selling sweets walked around with a tray, stopping in front of the two handsome men. She was definitely checking out the lycan, offering him a bag off the tray for free.

It didnt really scare Eden to see people being so interested in Romeo, he understood the appeal quite well. And somehow he also liked that people could see what he saw, while he was the one who got to get the really good bits of it. “She would have gotten into trouble for you.” He remarked as she almost hadnt taken the money hadnt the lycan been so alluring.
It was definitely quite the sight as they went further into town. As the sun seemed to be setting, more people in costumes were out, preparing for something as they set up homemade decorations. Signs were showing them were to go, so it wasnt like Eden knew exactly where they were headed. “No it’s my first time as well.” He admitted, chuckling as he thought about it. “I guess I only have a hunch of what awaits us.”
They reached the town square and were offered drinks, the lady explaining that it was homebrew from this year’s harvest. Eden paid her and looked down into the mug they had been given. From the looks of it it was a part of the experience so how could they decline? “I’m not sure what to expect.” He chuckled, letting the lycan have the first taste. It was alcohol for sure but there were herbs mixed with it as well that would calm down the person and bring a sort of feeling of serenity. Eden eventually took a sip, to then chuckle. “This definitely taste like something that was made up centuries ago.”

He was actually really enjoying his time spent with Romeo at this place. Somehow despite them only having met a couple of times, they both seemed to act like they had just always been this way. To the outside, the strangers that couldnt keep their eyes to themselves they adored them. Eden had some food as well but he told them not to give him a lot. It would have been a waste if he only had a taste and left the rest to be thrown out. The ale was pretty good though, and he thanked the lycan for getting him it. When they passed the booth, Eden looked at the pictures while Romeo spoke to the wine seller, having tasted it, he thought it could go well with some blood in it too. Not all wine went well with blood so it was about nothing down what did. He bid the old seller a nice evening before they left and they moved on.
Seeing the kids run around, somehow he was reminded of his own childhood. How he had played with other young vampyres his age, playing all kind of games that they could think of. He noticed the lycan’s interest in the stage with the music and they joined the crowd that formed. It felt like a slight deja vu but different. Eden hadnt thought of his childhood in forever and now he was suddenly reminded of it. He gave the lycan’s hand a soft squeeze while he looked up at the stage.
A man dressed a little nicer than the rest but still fitting to the time came out on the stage, looking around in the crowd. He started telling the tale of this city and how they firmly believed that every year, the gods would reign hell on them if they did not make this festival in their honour. He pointed towards a tree in the distance, explaining that it has stood there since then and gotten hollowed out for people to put their offerings. He swore that anything that would be put in the hole would fall down into a pit and be sent to the gods at the end. The kids all gasped and looked to their parents, but then the guy seemed to take a sudden interest in them. He began explaining that it was most important that the children brought strawdolls to the tree and put them in the hole so the gods wouldnt make them sick. But he promised them that if they did get sick after tonight then it would be from all the sweets.
He gazed into the distance, widening his eyes before he pointed. “Make way, here comes the evil spirits!” He called, gesturing for the crowd to make a circle within and once they did, a parade of people dressed up in well made costumes came dancing through. He told the kids to hold their dolls up so the spirits wouldnt look at them and every kid did exactly that, except one little girl who hid with her mom. A “monster” stopped at the side, looking at her before pulling out a lollipop that she was given before it moved on to dance with the rest.

“That’s okay, I’ll wait for you.” Eden told him as he went, the vampyre remaining in the crowd. Though it seemed that the dancers were moving away so he moved out of the crowd to light a cigarette and be easier to find. A little girl passed by crying and normally he wouldnt have done anything but she had long blonde hair and he felt like ignoring her would be like letting his sister down. He picked her up and comforted her calmly. “Let’s find your mom and dad.” He said, the girl clinging onto him as she nodded. Finding them didnt take long and they thanked the vampyre many times while comforting their crying daughter. He just politely smiled and shook his head.
But then he realized that Romeo hadnt come back and he went to look for him.

Seeing the old wine seller come his way in such a hurry Eden frowned. And when he explained what was happening, Eden sighed and made a slight nod, thanking him for telling him. Then he went to where the fight was happening, pushing through the crowd and grabbing one of the guys. Eden didnt look strong but the fact was that he was very strong. He just flung the guy with no regards, but it wasnt without a fight, his cheek getting scratched as he swung him. He lifted a hand to touch the wound, looking at the blood. Sighing he looked at the other guy who didnt want to back down. But with the crowd watching he had to remain calm. “We’ll leave. Just relax.” The vampyre said, walking over as he grabbed Romeo and checked up on him. Then he looked back at the two guys. “Sorry, I’m sure this was just a misunderstanding, have a good night. Also might want ice on that black eye.” He said with a smile to the two guys, pulling Romeo with him to leave.

The lycan was taken to the emergency tent and Eden waited outside. The vampyre seemed quite neutral and calm despite the fight he had just witnessed. But as a vampyre that was the easiest thing to do. So he stood there and waited with the cigarette in the corner of his mouth as he took out his phone and lit the smoke. He pulled a card that he had taken from the guy he had thrown away, looking at it. It had a name and that was just all he needed.
He scrolled through his phone and sent a text to his secretary before he put the card and his phone away. When Romeo came out he noticed how he was hiding his patched up brow. His expression was however rather stoic. “I’m not your parent, stop acting like I caught you fighting the neighbour kid.” He just said straight out reaching out to move his hair away looking at the tape that held the lycan’s eyebrow together. “You fought someone, so what?” He said, letting go of him before he sighed.

He didnt seemingly react much to Romeo promising that he was better now. It wasnt really about that but he wondered what the lycan was thinking. That Eden was angry with him now? That he had misbehaved?he said he would make it up and the vampyre hummed with a nod and followed as the lycan took his hand and went.
As they stood on the hill he looked out on the festival though he couldnt help but look a little dismayed. He glanced towards the lycan as he spoke, scoffing lightly. Was he still worried about that? He went on to explain what had happened and the vampyre kept a stoic expression through it, though it wasnt like he wasnt affected by what he heard. He actually felt angry but he didnt show it. “I see.” He said, being quiet for a bit before he reached over and grabbed his hand. It was fine if the lycan felt his emotions, he knew that was inevitable. He looked at him, reaching over to touch his cheek gently. “Just let it go. It’s in the past now and they’re probably already long gone.” He said, looking shortly towards the festival below. “I still had a good time with you.”

Eden could almost sense the frustration in the lycan like it was radiating off of him like an energy. He wondered what was causing it, but it was tge surprise on his face as Eden touched him that he cared more about. He smiled at him, as to let him know that it was all fine. He was so much warmer now, he felt that on his cheek and his hand over the vampyre’s. He was looking out on the festival, seeing all the people move on like nothing had happened. Romeo’s words made him hum but as he said his name, Eden looked at him.
The fireworks began but Romeo said something that made Eden unable to move his eyes from him. It sounded so genuine. If Eden had had a heart it would have gone crazy now. Even as the lycan pointed out the formations, he looked at him, his eyes almost betraying him and showing vulnerability. And then he looked to the formations, chuckling and smiling. “Well if this is how you are after a fight, maybe I’d want for you to fight more people.” He said, but it was just to disguise his happiness somewhat. The fireworks were so beautiful but the lycan was even more beautiful in the light of it. He still had his hand on his cheek simply because he couldnt let go now. And then he decided, moving his other hand to cup his face between his hands, moving delicately as he stepped closer, looking at the lycan with a gentle look in his eyes. He leaned down to connect their lips, rather carefully before he deepened the kiss, wrapping his arms around the lycan in the beautiful light of the fireworks above them.

They eventually made their way back to the hotel and Eden wrapped his arms around him from behind and pressed him close, closing his eyes with a satisfied smile. “Oh I could eat you up.” He said, feeling a little giddy after the fireworks.

He could probably live with food poisoning if the premise was that he got to taste him. The lycan turned in his arms and he had a softer gaze in his eyes as he looked at him. Like he was completely in love with him, which was not something Eden had shown before, not like this. He was told to push his hair back and he did, the healing eyebrow on full display. He could tell that Romeo wasnt fully comfortable with it but Eden felt content that he would do this for him. It showed a lot of strength, especially after he had explained how he wasnt the type to just get into fights.
“Yeah, I’m mostly trying to ignore it. Burnt wood seems a little too close to a stake for my liking.” He admitted, but stayed close regardless. They eventually got back to the room and Eden took off his jacket, not having fully noticed the petals before Romeo went to pick one up. “What, you dont like the petals? They make everything smell so nice.” The vampyre remarked, walking over to the champagne to look at it. It was a different kind but still expensive.

He looked at Romeo as the lycan came closer, seeing how he held the petal to his lips, the vampyre smiled. It was sort of a cute sight, though the notion that they would feel good against the skin made him him. The question made him shake his head. “No, though I do want to treat you with good champagne.” He admitted, putting the bottle back down.
The lycan left and he went to grab a vial of blood while he was at it. The ale had been good with the blood but he needed more than just a cup. Once he had finished the vial he went out on the balcony, seeing the lycan looking up at the stars. He went over to hug him from behind once more, playing with his shirt a little. “It’s very beautiful isnt it?” He whispered behind his ear, looking up at the stars as well. “I wonder. If I touched you now, would that make you blush any time you’d look up at the sky after tonight?” He whispered a little longingly, nibbling softly at his ear.
