You just had to love the rumors at this school, didn't you? Zaira had come out from English with Kurtis, joking about a phrase in a book they had been reading as one of her cheerleading friends approached her. She had seen the kiss, and brought it directly to her. Rumors were already running around, how the violent hybrid had taken advantage of the already hurt nephilim. She looked to Kurtis with a worried frown before taking off. She had an idea of where he was hiding, but she couldn't be sure.

Jeremy's only action was to run away, hope that whoever had seen what they saw would not think much of it. But it could be the next school sensation, especially after Damiano had already sparked his own rumors by beating up the three students. Jeremy didnt quite know where to go to but found an empty classroom that he sat down in and covered his face. He wasnt shameful of what had happened, he was just scared.

And the day had seemingly gone well. Kurtis had seemed to be bettering in mood but in reality he had just been keeping it at bay like he had told Zaira he would. It was easier some days. So when they left their english class just to be approached by a girl from Zaira's cheerleading class, who seemed all ready to spill the newest gossip, Kurtis couldnt believe his ears. He noticed Zaira's worried look but he just stood in his own thoughts before he nodded a bit to himself. Yep, this was definitely a breaking point for the lycan. He just left his bag at the door to their english class, rolling up his sleeves as he started walking down the hall. He just kept thinking about the consequences of Jeremy's parents finding out and it was pissing him off. He didnt have to walk around for long before he spotted the hybrid with his escort. "So you'll just walk off as if nothing happened?" he called out, scoffing as it was somehow what he had expected. He eyed the big guy standing next to the hybrid but he wasnt scared. He approached the hybrid rather quickly. "Come on, say something!" he yelled, shoving his hands at the hybrid as soon as he got close enough.

Damiano was just heading down the hallway to the principal. Why did this school have to be all formal and shit when he just wanted to get out of here? His thoughts were with Jeremy, scared that the rumors that were spreading would hurt him or worse get to his parents.
That was when the lycan showed up, and for a moment he hoped that it would be a somewhat friendly greeting. But of course gossip traveled faster than light at this school and soon he was getting pushed back. Donna, his tall escort, looked on in surprise, trying to break the lycan away from the hybrid. Damiano just let Kurtis do whatever he pleased. He didn't want to get angry, he just wanted to feel something. "I have no choice," he just said, eyeing his escort, but alas he was thinking it was to do with the fact he was resigning. Not the kiss. "Kurtis I really don't want to hurt you," he said, feeling his eyes burn and his skin felt tight. It was hard to explain what the beast felt like. It was like an oncoming storm that just broke loose, but at least he hoped Donna would be able to stop him.

Damiano had hoped that the lycan would stop. Maybe listen to reason or try not to make the job harder for Donna. But he broke loose from her grip, striking him. He let his head hang for a bit, his face stinging as his cheek grew redder and redder. It felt ... Good. That raw feeling of his skin tingling from a good hit. "He means more to me than you could ever think," he muttered under his breath. He sounded like he was growling, or choking slightly. It was clear that he was losing it. Donna placed a hand on Damiano but he shrugged it off, sneering at her.
Kurtis started taunting him. Tell him to hit back and then he mentioned the kids. Those three guys that he had went off on that had started all of this. No. This had started before all of that. He had always felt that beast in his chest. "I can't hurt him more," he said, he was shaking now. He couldn't do that to Jeremy. Hurt his best friend? There were things you just didn't cross. "I love him, that's why I'm trying to get better ... I want to be someone he might be proud of," he sneered, feeling his jaw tense.

All of those words. Damiano knew that Kurtis was right, he knew that everything he said was just the same as what the hybrid had told himself. That he shouldn't be seeking out Jeremy, that the hurt he had caused was already too much. But as Kurtis called him weak and grabbed him by the collar he suddenly moved. His hand wrapping around the wrist of the hand that the lycan had grabbed him with. His nails digging in to the soft and warm skin. "I am weak," he snarled, ripping Kurtis' hand off of his collar as he pushed him back. Damiano was heaving for air now. He didn't have a lycan form, nor a daemonic shape. All of his anger and frustration just had to stay in him as he walked closer to Kurtis. His shoulders heaving from that inner beast wanting to let loose. And so he did, reaching out to grab Kurtis' shoulders, pulling him in to kick his knee up in his stomach before shoving him backwards, hopefully making him fall to the floor. "You never would accept me anyways ... I'm not lycan enough for you and I never will be," he growled, gritting his teeth together as he felt himself get eager to use his bite.
Donna intercepted, standing between the two boys. "Stop this nonsense right now!" she demanded but Damiano just reached out and pushed her off to the side, walking over to tower over Kurtis. His eyes dark, pitch black as he felt his mouth water. "He wants to see the big bad wolf," his voice almost unrecognizable.

Damiano could barely hear what Kurtis was saying, all he heard was his inner voice. It should've been a voice of reason, one that would calm him and distract him from this oncoming fight. But it wasn't. It was a voice of violence, and he kneeled down, placing his knee on the lycan's chest, pushing down with ease. He wasn't himself anymore. He had lost himself, lost sight of what was right and wrong, and as his hand reached down to grab around Kurtis' throat a glimmer was in his eyes. One that clearly said one thing was on his mind. Fight. Snarling he let his weight off of the lycan's chest only to lift him up by the throat, tossing him through the hall towards the exit. He wasn't giving him much time to react as he came running towards him, tackling him out of the doorway and out in to the school yard. The concrete wasn't nice on his hands and knees, scraping them as he landed on top of Kurtis, biting in to his arm in pure rage.

Damiano just kept biting on to the arm, the blood flowing and his beast getting wilder. Kurtis hammered his fist in to his temple, eventually turning them around. The hybrid looked up at the lycan before being spat in the face growling deep from his chest. As they continued to fight and turn around, Damiano's shirt got ruined, and that was when the real damage was shown. Cuts, bruises and not to mention how skinny his body had gotten finally showed. He looked like one who had already been in a fight, but this was something he had done to himself. He could feel his leg hurt from where Kurtis had dug his nails in, feeling his pant leg soaked with blood already, but it just felt good. It felt good to be hurting because he deserved this. He needed to be punished, he needed to hurt more.
Damiano finally decided to swing at Kurtis, and although he wasn't as strong as he had been before getting admitted to the facility, he was still fairly strong. He aimed for Kurtis' jaw, missing it slightly, but still getting a somewhat decent punch in. It was clear Damiano wasn't fit to fight. He was weaker than he ever had been. Stopping for a second he gasped for air, his whole body shaking and shivering as the cold wind blew through his ruined shirt. "I know I'll never deserve him ... I know I'm a horrible person ... But he's the one good thing that keeps me from tipping over the edge!" he said angrily.

Breathing was hard. He felt like his ribs were caving in on him, and he had a nasty cut on his chest that was bleeding. It was no doubt Kurtis' strong claws that had been at work there. Then the lycan started speaking and at first it all sounded like nonsense. What rumor? What could Damiano possibly have done that would cause a rumor?
But that was when it hit him, as Kurtis tackled him to the ground, it just dawned on him. The kiss. Oh he felt so silly and so mad. Because they were basically fighting two different fights. "I ... d-didn't ... k-kiss ... f-f-firs-st," he sputtered as Kurtis was putting pressure on his throat if he was still holding on to the collar. Even though his leg felt like it was too broken to move, he managed to use it to kick Kurtis off of him, gasping for air as he started spitting and coughing up blood. He was weak. So weak that he for a second thought he was going to pass out.

Damiano was trying to breathe, but it was getting harder and harder and as Kurtis kept yelling he just found himself getting more numb. He could feel the anger from Kurtis, he even had a hard time differentiating if it was him or the lycan who felt so angry. The love mark comment made him look at him with hurt eyes. "Do you really think that was what happened?" he asked, but it clearly didn't matter to him. As he started to yell, Damiano got to his feet, staggering as his leg was hurting to even stand on. "You're no better!" he screamed, throwing punches just hoping some would land. "Like you aren't the one using your girlfriend just as a distraction from your own shitty life! Is that fair to her? That she's just some helpful asset to your shitty life?" he grunted between hits.

"I know enough to know that you are using her to escape every small minor inconvenience that you might face," he said in retaliation, he didn't give a shit anymore. Why was Kurtis 'the fuckboy' Trevino trying to sound so high and mighty? Gasping for air he let his arms down as he heard a familiar voice.

"You ... Idiots!" She came running out from the building and it was true what they said about furious women. They were scary, and if you didn't move out of the way, you would be pushed. She reached the two, stopping only as she got between them. If Kurtis tried to say anything she would just gesture with her fingers for him to keep his mouth shut. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" She demanded to know before she changed her mind and shook her head, looking from guy to guy, "no, don't tell me, because it won't make any sense anyways." This wasn't how she wanted things to go and she knew for a fact that Jeremy wouldn't want the two most important people in his life to be fighting.
"Look at yourselves! You're covered in blood and dirt and you lot," she said, turning her head around to look at the people who had gathered, "You better be gone right now or the gods be my witness I will make you be gone!" People started to spread out, although a few lingered until she spotted the principal. "Fuck, c'mon, " she muttered grabbing the two guys, pulling them with her so they wouldn't get caught. Fighting like this on school ground was not going to be taken lightly, and it was even worse when both guys had previous offences.
Damiano snarled at Zaira but she just hushed at him, "Don't give me that shit," she said, and it took the hybrid by surprise.

The principal made a walk around and the other students cleared out pretty easily. Zaira groaned under her breath as she watched him. Gods knew how much she hated that old man. As he went back inside she breathed out before she turned her attention to the two wannabe MMA fighters. "What am I to do with you two?" She asked looking at Kurtis with a disappointed frown to then look at Damiano who didn't even dare look at the human. She was tiny but so scary. Reaching up she used her sleeve to dry off Kurtis' drool rather carefully, seeing that the jaw had been dislocated. She could also smell the blood and she hated it. "I found Jeremy in a classroom ... He won't speak to me," she said, shaking her head as she just didn't know what to do. "Most of the school is buzzing with the rumor of you kissing him," she said eyeing Damiano who frowned.
"I didn't kiss him ... He kissed me," he admitted, feeling better as he had gotten some of his anger out. "I would never put him at a risk," he said just to clarify.
Zaira looked a little puzzled. "So why exactly where the two of you fighting?" She asked.

They both looked like a mess and she was just happy that they had stopped now. Probably because she had stopped them, but thinking of what would've happened if she hadn't intervened wasn't something she was dying to think about right now. Kurtis admitted that it probably hadn't been as much about Jeremy as it had been about getting some of his frustrations out. She sighed, but alas he seemed more relaxed. Or well for now at least, because she knew that he would be in quite a lot of pain his body would start to calm down.

Damiano looked down at himself, his shirt torn, his leg bleeding still and not to mention the bruises that would come from this. Why had he felt so good? He had never been the violent type, but the fact that Kurtis had fought back has been almost relieving. Kurtis admittance made him shrug, "I'm not holding that against you," he said I'm a more calm voice. He felt like he could feel again. Or at least right now he could feel his sore body and the way he had used his muscles.
Then the lycan had to ask and the hybrid sighed, trying to close his shirt, but it wasn't really working too good. "She's my suicide watch," he said with a small shrug. "I was here to resign from school," he said before telling what had happened with Jeremy. And then why he had reacted that way. "I don't want to leave school or the country for that matter ... But I'm dangerous in the eyes of the doctors," he said, looking from Zaira to Kurtis. "I've always wanted to hide that part of me ... the violent side ... because I don't feel comfortable with it," he admitted.
