I’ll make you mine

Gerard happily obliged, his mouth a bit more open as he felt the cold finger run along his lower lip. Had he been more brave he would've taken the thumb in his mouth, sucking it, but he let the vampyre control the speed right now. He was not afraid to move too fast, but the reminder that there had been someone before him that Eden hadn't gotten over yet was still fresh in his mind. Hearing what his blood smelled like he wasn't sure how to react. Was it a good or a bad thing that it was addicting? As the vampyre let go, he felt a little saddened by it, but ultimately followed the other man in to the living room.
He sat down on one of the couches close to the fireplace, looking at the flames momentarily as he heard the glasses being filled. Looking to the vampyre as he got closer, he took the glass with a small smile. Gerard wasn't too well versed in the knowledge of wine, but he wasn't going to say no. Taking a small sip he frowned a bit surprised at the taste, mostly because he had only been given cheap wine before. "This doesn't taste that bad," he remarked a little stunned, but also smiling happily. He returned his gaze to the fireplace, the small crackles surprising him from time to time. "I think I want a fireplace if I ever get to afford my own house," he chuckled. Of course he didn't know all the work that went in to maintaining such a piece in the house, but he thought they were very charming. "Of course it's way off in my future, maybe further than I hope, but it's always good to have something to look forward to," he said with a small smile. Him and Xalvador had often talked about their ideal home, what they wanted and what kind of mood they wanted for the whole thing.

He poured the wine and handed the nephilim his glass before sitting down next to him with one of his own. He preferred to have some blood mixed in with it, but he didnt really feel hungry in the moment anyway. He smiled at the remark and took a small sip. "I suppose it's alright," he said, to then watch the other man as he looked towards the fireplace. He leaned back and whisked the wine carefully around in the small bowl, watching it swirl around. "It doesnt sound like too bad of a goal to work towards," he agreed, smiling softly as he sortly moved his eyes to the fireplace. Like the rest of the home even the fireplace seemed to be custom made, carved white marble as if it had always just been a part of the wall and not an installment as most fireplaces looked like. "I have completely forgotten to ask. How are things for you now? Is your apartment good enough, do you feel like you have everything you need?" he asked, partly to know and because he seemingly cared about his well being.

The young nephilim chuckled lightly at the vampyre's agreement, mostly because he found the thought of having his own home one day silly. He knew that all good things had to come to an end, and that what he was doing with Eden ultimately wouldn't last - even if that was what he wanted. He liked the vampyre, liked how he carried himself and was so self secure in himself and his life. He admired his openness and artistic eye.
The question made him frown a little, looking down as he smiled slightly. "I have more than I could ever ask for," he said rather truthfully, but his life had definitely improved since meeting Eden. He turned to look at the vampyre by his side. "I've been able to eat daily, my brother isn't starving himself, and I've gotten to a point where I can explore photography," he said, his eyes a little softer as he looked at Eden. "And I owe it to you, you take good care of me and spending time with you just sweetens the deal," he smiled, blushing slightly as he looked down in to his wine. He wasn't afraid of speaking his mind, but Gerard still felt like he was far too young to know what love was supposed to be like. He cared for Eden, and he felt that he could be happy with him if the vampyre didn't lose interest. "I even have a small savings account now," he chuckled, but he was pretty much in disbelief. To have money that he didn't have to spend right away? Have a chance to save some for a rainy day? It was a good feeling.

He listened intently with a smile on his face. It was nice to hear that things had changed for the nephilim to a point where he could live a normal life, because for Eden that seemed like the bare necessities in life, even if it was a luxury for most. "I'm very glad to hear that," he said to then shake his head at the notion that it was all thanks to him. "I'm only giving you what you deserve," he argued with a confident smile even if he was undermining his own part to play in the matter. He took another sip of his glass, tilting his head slightly. "Either way, we can keep arguing about what I've done for you and what I believe I havent. I'd much rather feel those lips of yours again," he said, reaching over to touch the nephilim's cheek, just a gentle stroke of the back of his fingers before he ran his hand down behind his neck. It was weird because Eden was so used to having things handed to him, but clearly it wasnt exactly what was happening with the seraph, so he had to take the upper hand. He leaned closer and only if Gerard would allow him, would he connect their lips in a tender matter. He was slowly adjusting himself to the fact that a nephilim exactly wasnt just something you could just ravage but more so had to be delicate and sweet.

Gerard chuckled a bit nervously, because he was not going to argue with Eden, but he was trying to show his gratitude for it all. The notion of feeling his lips however made him blush, feeling the cold hand travel up to his neck and behind it. He held his breath for a bit, nodding to give his consent before he felt those cold and smooth lips once again. Sighing softly, he returned the kiss, but in the process managed to forget that he was holding a glass of red wine. His hand lost it's grip, dropping the glass on himself to a rather unpleasant surprise, breaking off the kiss to look down at himself with a horrified expression. "I - I am so sorry, I didn't think," he mumbled, his white shirt ruined and he was trying his best not to let the wine spill down on the couch, sitting still as he could. He didn't know what to do, a bit panicked and just sitting there like he had committed a war crime.

Gerard was a little stunned, not really sure how to react to the situation, but as always it seemed like Eden knew just how to handle it. The small joke made him smile, albeit a little pained because he was actually sorry about this. The vampyre helped him to his feet, guiding him through the mansion, and the nephilim was terrified of dripping wine everywhere.
Once inside the bathroom however he stopped for a second, looking around at the lavish decorations. It was like he always forgot just how much money Eden actually had before seeing it. It was beautifully decorated, and it was probably bigger than Gerard's living room in the apartment. He was a bit afraid to move around. Did wine stain marble? He wasn't sure, but he moved over to carefully sit down on the edge of the tub. The small gesture made him blush, nodding as he watched the vampyre leave. Carefully he started to undress himself, tossing the clothes in the tub just to not have the remaining wine spill all over the beautiful floors. Gerard felt naked, even though the wine hadn't soaked through to his underwear, he felt like hiding a little bit. Sure he had gained a bit of weight, looking more healthy, but he still didn't look as strong as he wanted to.

He was a little surprised as Eden returned and started assisting him in removing the wine. He could feel his heart pumping hard in his chest, blushing as he looked away and tried not to think about how strange yet good this felt. Of course Gerard knew he found Eden attractive, but he just couldn't see why the vampyre was interested in him. He took the small damp cloth as the vampyre had finished up, looking at him with uncertain eyes before he left. A small shiver ran down his back, because if he had had more experience he would've grabbed on to Eden and pull him close. If he could just ignore how inadequate he felt, then he could've been amazingly self-confident.
He dried himself off, putting on the new pants that fit him strangely well. Then the shirt, but he didn't button it. He wanted to be brave, he wanted to see how the vampyre would react. Gerard moved out of the bathroom, seeing a servant already standing there and ready to handle the washing of his clothes. He thanked them in a small mutter, but his eyes were at the door half open. Walking towards it he could smell the smoke, not that it was heavy. He walked in to the room, but he had no time to be distracted by the beautiful décor. "Eden," Gerard said, standing in the door leading out to the balcony. His skin rising in goosebumps from the cold, but he stood there for a while, letting the vampyre come to him. He didn't really have a plan, he just wanted to see how it would feel. Being nervous was something he wasn't good at hiding once you had gotten to know him, but he tried playing it cool, reaching down to take his hand lifting it to the parts of his chest visible from the unbuttoned shirt. His heart was beating like a fast drum, but he was not going to let that stop him. He let go of the vampyre's hand, hopefully still feeling the cold fingers against his skin. His hands moved up, cupping the vampyre's face before leaning in and kissing him almost innocently. Kissing him once more he felt a bit more brave, being a bit more tender.

Maybe he was in over his head? But as soon as Eden gave in he knew he had done the right thing, feeling the kiss deepen making him sigh against the vampyre's lips. He barely noticed that they were moving, the door closing making him jump a little, but he wasn't scared. In fact he felt rather safe. He felt like he was still somewhat in control of the situation, and he liked that. It felt empowering. He was pulled closer, making him smile, kissing Eden once again, but he felt like he could barely get any air from his nose. He broke the kiss, chuckling a bit as he felt nervous, but also because his chest felt like there were bubbles inside. "I didn't mean to startle you," he mumbled, looking down at the hand that was still on his chest. It felt good. Sure the hand was cold, but it wasn't uncomfortable.
"Your bedroom is very big," he mumbled, leaning in to kiss him once in a while, just because he knew Eden had wanted more of that when they were still in the living room. He swallowed as his hands played a bit with the shirt the vampyre was wearing, carefully unbuttoning it. He felt like his breath was staggering a bit, but he was still trying to catch his breath from their kissing. "I'm curious," he whispered almost in an inaudible voice, but there was something so innocent about it as well. It was true that he had never gotten all the way with another man before, but he had tried a few things - not anything that would be classified as making him knowledgeable, but enough to know a little bit of everything. "If all of you really feel this cold," holding his breath as he finally opened the shirt, pulling the ends out of his pants, "and if I'm able to heat it up."

Gerard looked at Eden, blinking a few times as he wasn't sure what to reply. On one hand he did, he wanted to explore this man, wanted to feel every part of him. On the other he was rather afraid of changing their dynamic. What if he actually started to have feelings for the vampyre? His heart skipped a beat at the next words that were spoken, because it was honestly all he wanted for now. Just touch and feel, not really think about going further or trying something out of his comfort zone. Gerard's hands touched Eden's chest very carefully, almost as if he was afraid of breaking him, though it was silly. "I'd like to try," he whispered, looking at Eden. He wanted to make it clear that if something happened and he himself wasn't liking it, he wanted to have the power to stop it. It was a little nerve-wracking, leaning down to kiss the cold chest in front of him. His breath felt so warm against the vampyre's skin. Kissing him once more, he carefully removed his shirt, letting it slip on the floor as his hands touched along his sides.

Gerard frowned a bit at the words that Eden spoke, mostly because he wasn't used to being praised. Part of him didn't like it, perhaps because he had grown up with very strict caretakers, but he didn't know how to say it; But it was clear it made him feel uncomfortable. His kisses stopped, feeling like he was going to get a beating or something, but he was just there with Eden. "Bed sounds nice," he murmured, but it was like he couldn't really shake the feeling of discomfort. He moved over to the bed crawling up on it, and right from the start he was amazed at how big and comfortable it was.
Once Eden joined him, he would crawl a little closer, laying next to him. "Hey, I ... I don't really like ... Like being praised," he stuttered, feeling so unsure of himself even though he knew he had to set that boundary. He swallowed avoiding his gaze as he just hyper fixated on a part of the bed. He didn't want to be a brat about it, he just felt like it reminded him too much of the pain he had gone through. But maybe some day that would change, he just didn't know that yet. "I just ... Merde ... I just want to know if it feels good," he said, frowning as he was unsure of what he was saying, but he hoped that the vampyre could understand.

Gerard shook his head softly, but not removing his face from the cold hand palming it. He felt silly, because maybe it was something people liked? Maybe they liked being praised, told how good they were at something, but to him it felt almost like a slap to the face. He looked at Eden rather carefully, but ultimately returning the kiss, keeping it sweet. The question made him hum softly as he thought about it. "I don't like ... Vulgarity," he said, not knowing if it was explanation enough. He just didn't want this to be covertly sexual, just something nice and sweet. "I like it when you run your hand down my back; And how you pull me close to kiss me," he said, rather wanting to emphasize what he did like. "It just feels good and makes me feel safe," he muttered. By Verity he must've sounded so much like a virgin by now. Was it really weird that he simply wanted something fluffy and soft and not something more than that?
Swallowing again he leaned closer, kissing Eden once more, but this time not afraid to push himself a little closer, feeling his barren chest against the other man's. It was a bit of a rush, turning him on, but he was not going to get distracted by that. All he really wanted was to feel loved, feel like he mattered to someone, and right now that was what Eden provided him with.

Gerard liked this, just feeling someone pressed close to him, holding him and returning his kisses. What more could he truly ask for? Even though he knew he was getting paid to be there, it felt genuine. The night pretty much was just this, a long connection of kisses and affectionate touches, only interrupted by small pillow talk conversations.

Truly it was too good to be true. Eden and him had spent many nights simply feeling each other's lips, but now spring had come and Gerard had been invited to go with him on a trip. It was something out of town, an apartment in Spain. It was only for a week, but it was amazing enough just to be out of the country. Of course Xalvador had worried, he had not wanted him to leave with the vampyre, but at this point Gerard was truly starting to feel something for the other man. Couldn't his brother see how happy he was?
They had arrived late in the night, Gerard half asleep as they got up to the apartment. He had woken up to the sound of the sea outside, blinking a few times before his eyes focused on the vampyre laying by his side. Smiling to himself he moved closer, leaning in to kiss his face all over.

"Oh shut up, like you haven't been nervous about this trip," he chuckled softly, crawling under his covers and laying closer to him. Gerard had been working a lot on himself, his body getting a bit stronger and his muscles more defined. He had Xalvador to thank for that as he had helped him get some sort of workout routine going. He wrapped an arm around Eden, pulling him closer as he connected their lips, not really caring much about morning breath. "Tell me what you have planned for today," he whispered against the cold lips, but they felt less cold in the warmer weather, and frankly Gerard could get used to that feeling.
"Or are you thinking of sleeping in for the rest of the day? Go out tonight?" he pondered, kissing the man down his cheek and to his neck. His lips reached the top of his collarbone, kissing along it as he took in the scent of the vampyre. It was always rather intoxicating, making him forget time and place sometimes.

He did listen, although he was also a little preoccupied with covering most of his barren skin in kisses. The mention of chocolate made him raise an eyebrow at the vampyre, chuckling softly. "I really like it ... Is this going to be some Willy Wonka scenario where I might end up in a river of chocolate?" he asked in teasing, kissing the vampyre's chin. While they were still taking it slow, it was clear that the nephilim had gotten a lot bolder - probably coming from his boost in confidence as well. He sighed softly against the cold skin, letting his hands wander down the sides of the vampyre as he was just taking this moment in. "It does sound interesting - But you might need to drag me out of there afterwards," he warned him. He laid his head against his chest, just resting his cheek against the cold skin listening to the vampyre breathe. Sometimes Gerard forgot that people actually had heartbeats when he was spending so much time with Eden.
"I also want to go to the beach later - But we can do that closer to when the sun is setting if you prefer?" he suggested. He knew that Eden wouldn't burn up in the sun, but the thought of the vampyre being uncomfortable wasn't nice.

"Oh, do you think we can get some chocolate to go as well?" he chuckled, thinking it would be something nice to bring with him home. Xalvador mostly preferred blood, but anything chocolate he seemed to tolerate. It felt good to just lay here, feel the hand stroking his back and making him relax in to the moment.
He smiled at the notion about the beach, but he knew going there later in the day would make it less crowded, and while Gerard felt more comfortable about his body in private, it wasn't the same story in public. He sometimes kept his shirt on even though he was too hot, just because he didn't want to show off his body. "We'll go closer to sundown; Then we can walk along the beach when we want to go home," he decided for them, looking at Eden as he touched his face. Turning to kiss his fingers he sighed softly. "I guess I should go have a shower ... Get ready and all that," he said, though it was clear he didn't want to get up just yet.
